1. My Treatment
The music for our music video is “nuttin but love” by Heavy D.
Our music video will be based around 1 main character, the lead male vocalist
i.e. Heavy D. Heavy D will be seen walking around various locations signing
the song. These locations will be a
building site,
a dark gloomy alleyway,
a recording studio
And on top of a high rise building.
These locations will provide an edgy more serious feel to the song and lyrics
contrasting with the immediate vide of the lyrics.
The video should be jam packed with footage to create a fast vibrant effect.
The costume in the video should be bright coloured old school styled clothes
that are different to the norm and add flair.
The music video will be shot during the day and then develop to finishing being
shot at night. The locations will be fixed but different angles will be used to
keep the viewing from becoming boring.
In terms of editing we could use a dark filter, split screen, dirty filters, black and
white and many other editing techniques to make the video seem dated which
would work with our serious old style vibe.
