Who would the audience be for your media product?

Age:

My target audience is aged 16 – 12, my magazines appeals mainly to the young audience.

Female Target Audience:

Ethnicity: White British

The typical female audience for my magazine wears converse,listens to indie rock music and
enjoys socialising with her friends. She would also be interested in attending concerts and
festivals where her favourite artists and bands are playing. Her dislikes would include bands
such as One Direction and the colour pink.

Male Target Audience:

Name: Sam

Age: 22

Ethnicity: White European

The typical male audience who would be interested in reading my magazine would be a fan
of indie rock music. They would also be interested in tattoos and maybe body piercings.
Dislikes would include Pop music and baggy clothing. An example of a band they may like is
Paramore.

I chose to make this my target audience because I think it will enable me to get maximum
profit out of my magazine as a lot of young people are big music fans.
