7. From this analysis of the Photography featured within the 3 pop
music magazines in which I have researched, I will use a High Key,
Studio image on the front cover of a feminine made-up female pop
star, and will most likely use a plain white background to make the
image stand out from the page more and is a perfect base then for
the text to overlap the image. I may also feature a few live images
on my front cover in a similar way to Smash Hits for other articles
within the magazine but with the only one main Studio image of
the cover star.
For my own contents page I will use a variety of live images and
will use one and only one studio image of the cover star but using
a different image to the front cover and will have the appropriately
placed within the text in which they are listed on the contents
page. I will use colourful images and a mixture of High Key and
Low Key images to reflect the mood of the article, for the contents
page.
For my double page spread I am going
to use a variety of Live and Studio
images, some of the star posing and some of her performing
to make the audience aware of who she is. All the images
will be in colour and the background will be plain but reflect
the costume featured in the main studio image and will
make a good base for text to layer over.
