2. I have chosen this magazine to analyse because it’s quite
relevant to what we are doing and we like the layout of this
etc.
The theme colours are quite flattering for her, the pale
orange and aqua blue look good with the white simple
background.
The girl is smirking in the picture, which shows she’s clearly
awkward in front of the camera and doesn’t know how to
pose for it. I didn’t think that was very professional.
I also feel like there is too many headings and subheadings,
it looks like there is too much to look at. It’s also hard to
read.
I think the top heading and the very bottom look the clearest.
And stand out the most. The whole ‘Aaliyah’ title is bold and
big but it doesn’t really stand out the most in the magazine
and usually with professional ones, it would stand out the
most for the artist.
Also, the magazines name is in front of the girl on the cover,
showing that the magazine isn’t exactly confident in their
model.
