Energy Program
 Arthur (Art) Samberg leverages more than 25 years of hedge fund industry
experience to manage Hawkes Financial, LLC, his family office. In addition
to his professional responsibilities, Art Samberg holds numerous positions on
organizational boards; among these, he serves as an advisory board
member for the MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI).

Energy Program
 Among its many initiatives, MITEI sponsors the Campus Energy Program to
support its sustainable energy education and research goals through
campus application. The initiative aims to increase awareness of how to
maximize energy efficiency, implement renewable resources, and
decrease greenhouse gas emissions. By using the campus as a renewable
energy testing ground, MITEI enhances student learning and fosters
innovation. The sustainable measures it implements also benefit the local
community and provide a design and building model for other institutions
around the world.

 MIT’s commitment to sustainable practices is supported by its involvement
in the World Economic Forum’s Global University Leaders Forum Sustainable
Campus Charter, an international body of academic institutions dedicated
to energy-efficient campus operations.
