1. DISPOSAL OF DEAD
BODIES

2. In India, nearly 8 million deaths occur in
one year. Out of this, most of them die with
infectious disease like cholera. Therefore it
is essential to consider the method of
disposal that is more important. Dead body
disposal is always associated with religious
rituals and varies from country to country.

3. Types :
There are two sanitary proposals:
1. Burning (cremation)
2. Burial

4. 1. Cremation: It is the best
Method for the disposal of the
Dead body. In large cities the
Electric crematorium is very useful and
importance. It solves urban problem of sanitary
disposal of dead body.

5. 2. Burial: Burial has to
be done in the corporation
Allocated areas only. Christians
and Muslims, some Hindu communities bury their dead
bodies. Following points should be in mind in following
this method of disposal.
