Extreme Measure Comes With Extreme Percaution Essay
"Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts. We have taken the
necessary security precautions and are prepared to do whatever is necessary to protect America and Americans." President George W. Bush
On September 11, 2001, terrorists initiated multiple attacks on America that took the lives of nearly three thousand innocent people. It was a day of
destruction and horror that will be branded in the minds of many for a long time. The tragedies on 9/11 could have been avoided if airport security in the
United States had been stricter. A strong foundation for Homeland Security is essential in protecting America from further attacks. In the essay... Show

For example, before September 11, if a mother and her two children were traveling and running late for the flight the airport attendants were willing
to lend a helping hand. As the struggling mother and children hurry to the ticket counter the airport personnel help with her bags, quickly check her
in, and ask as no questions. The attendant moves her to the front of the line, grabs her bag and the baby carrier, and carries them through for her.
Nothing is said about the nail file or the can of mace in her purse. After all, she is a mother of two and she is traveling alone; she is not a threat.
Those days of helping a mother with two children are long gone. Instead, the government has attempted to add procedures to airport security that
supposedly provides more "protection" for Americans. In her essay, Zeltser discusses how people are now examined with a fine tooth– comb. She talks
about her brother recently returning from a vacation in Mexico. He was pulled aside and asked so many questions that he, himself, was almost
convinced that he had taken part in illegal dealings while he was on vacation (Zeltser190). Does one consider extreme interrogation of this kind to be
protective measures?
A similar event happened with my brother last summer when he was returning to California after coming home for my high school graduation. Every
year, my brother Wesley flies in from San Diego to visit and never checks any

Persuasive Essay On Extreme Sports
With all of the benefits that come from extreme sports, there should be no debate whether it is okay to participate in them or not. The average
person burns as much as 500 calories per hour while riding their board. This is just one of the many benefits that come from extreme sports. We
can't live our whole lives being scared and over cautious, we need to take the risks, and get the benefits because of it. The topic of extreme sports if a
worldwide debate. Many people argue that kids are too young to be doing such dangerous things, because their brains aren't fully developed, they are
too young to understand what they are getting into, and more. However, looking to the other point of view, others argue that it builds confidence, that

that if kids have the skill and the experience, there is no reason to hold them back. 'If a child has the skills to climb a serious mountain, should we
hold them back from Mount Everest?' he asks." ( 22) Later on in the same article, the author goes on to say, "Jagger, like Jett, has had his share of
injuries, but Geoff points out that his sons are happy and healthy." (22) Similarly stating, according to an online text it says, "...A challengingsport like

The last reason why kids should be able to compete in extreme sports because it is an independent sport that is an additional option for kids, if they

Waterfall andExtreme Programming are two software project methods used for project management. Although there are a number of opinions
comparing the two methods regarding how they should be applied, none have used project data to clearly conclude which one is better. In this paper,

The faculty decided to use Extreme Programming as the method for the Foundations course because it was an agile method, it had good engineering
practices, and it was a safe sandbox environment for engineers to try paired programming since many managers in industry were initially skeptical
about its benefits. In 2005, the faculty allowed three of the sixteen teams tried our new curriculum to see if there were any serious issues in the switch,
while other thirteen teams continued to follow a start point in 2004. The feedback was extremely positive so in 2006, all teams followed Extreme
Programming. For the project plan duration, Waterfall teams needed fifteen weeks to finish their tasks where as Extreme Programming teams were
given only thirteen weeks, a 13% reduction in time.
1.2.2. PET 1.1: In 2005, the VP of Engineering advised the three teams that rewriting the code from scratch would be easier than working with the
existing code base. Team 30:1 decided to use the latest in Java technologies including Swing and Hibernate. PET 1.1, the team 's product became the
starting point for the students in the following year.
1.2.3. PET 1.2: In 2008, the faculty switched the core technology from Java to Ruby on
Rails. Ruby on Rails ' convention over configuration, afforded a lower learning curve for students. For Pet 1.2, students would build their projects from

Extreme Of The Mohave Dessert
Extreme in the Mohave dessert
Mohave dessert spread across Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and some part of the State of California and its climate reflects extremes of hot and cold. At
winters temperatures are cool, as low as 8 Fahrenheit while the summer reaches about 120 Fahrenheit , winds are present years round blow about 25

I was wrong and I learned the lesson in a hard way, mostly when extreme things happen to someone, the first thing come to our mind is taking an
extreme measure. I was one of those people who took an extreme measure. My decision moved to Nevada was made in two weeks' time when –16

exciting days that I drove from South Dakota to Nevada and how the weather in Nevada open its(his) arms and comforted me; very peaceful and
calm down weather, I felted like eating the cold yogurt in a warm weather. I never forget those days, I truly ask the question to myself, how priceless is
the beautiful air we breathe in, the sun set sky images of an ombre of dark purple painting behind the mountains, and the moon hangs on the sky before
the sun set.

A mental imbalance or extremely introverted turmoil is a neurodevelopmental issue that debilitates a man's capacity to impart, connect socially with
others, and react to specific jolts in their environment. The condition is normally analyzed by the age of 3 and is more common in guys than females.1
Other firmly related wordings are extreme introvertedness range issue (ASD), and unavoidable formative issue (PDD). A mental imbalance range issue
is portrayed by deferred dialect advancement, dreary and stereotyped examples of conduct, creative energy, and upset social interaction,2 while PDD

Extreme Programming Up Front Design Methodologies Essay
Extreme Programming (XP) has spent the past decades under perpetual scrutiny by software developers fixated on up front design methodologies.
The idea behind this is simple: if you want to make sure something is well built, you must design it well first, then put it together using reliable tools.
For objects such as houses, cars, or tables, of which the design evolves gradually throughout decades, the methods of up front design suffice. Computer
programs, on the other hand, are products often made for an industry that evolves at higher rates than any other. For this type of environment, more
dynamic methods are required, which is why XP suits as a viable candidate. How design is altered from the traditional up front design method will be...

"reveals all the intentions", on the other hand, makes sense under the following train of thought: if something is simple, it is easy to understand, and
therefore all or most intentions are clear to the observer. "does not have duplicated code" seems to make things easy to understand, but may not
necessarily simplify a program. Finally, "has the fewest number of classes or methods" seems to be the most pertinent to the concept of simplicity. If
a system consists of less functional elements than another one but holds the same product, it could be considered simpler. Following this definition, a
system that contains the least amount of functional elements than any other, but holds the same product, could be considered simplest. Other than a
few definitions of simplicity, Fowler mentions YAGNI, an acronym he claims is one of the "...greatest rallying cries in XP..." (Fowler). It stands for
"You Aren't Going to Need it" (Fowler). The idea is summed up by Fowler as a method to only program what is currently needed for the project. This
is supposed to allow easy changes to be made when needed. An example: consider the scenario where a calculator is being programmed. Its design
incorporates 'addition' and 'multiplication'. Whilst implementing 'addition', it may seem logical to add some of the 'multiplication' features to reduce
the amount of future work. Suddenly the client decides to replace 'multiplication' with 'division'. 'multiplication' now has to be removed or

This can be explored by considering a multitude of cases that have plagued the creative world over this past year to include: Patrick Cariou vs
Richard Prince in the United States District Courts of copyright infringement this was an extreme case in which a whole gallery of art not only violated
the fair use in my opinion but managed to have a manipulation of the copyright, and in this case, but it wasn't the case as the litigation drove
forward. In this case, specifically it worked out for Prince this was not a good thing rather a technicality that helped him to find a loophole.
Copyright law states that if a work is "transformative" altering the original with new expression, meaning, or message. (Dictionary.com) then it
falls under fair use and in the case of Cariou and Prince 25 out of the 30 pieces were found to be in the guidelines of the fair use law and the final 5
were sent forward to a second court. Though this case had a loose adaptation of what was fair use is there are other ones that didn't fare well for the
manipulation of the art and law that protects it. In the case of David Bowie and Queen vs. Vanilla Ice there was a more blatant destruction and
capitalization of another artist work by misunderstanding of the music industry's law of plagiarism and copyright. In 1990 Vanilla Ice

Extreme Sports: A Reaction to Extreme Technology Essay
Extreme Sports: A Reaction to Extreme Technology
Many people in America work at jobs where they are separated from Nature and other people, sectioned off in cublicles, plugged into a machine, doing
work which neither challenges their intellect nor is fulfilling personally. As a result, a separation forms not only between others and from Nature itself,
but from themselves, and their purpose in life. A feeling develops that are notliving life to the fullest. Much of our interaction these days is "virtual
interaction", taking place between us and a screen. We are capable of doing just about anything virtually: shopping, sex, even skiing. Our lack of

He argues that extreme sports push you to this place by stretching the limits of what you think you can do – that is, pushing what seems rationally
possible. In this way, you gain ultimate control and connection through your body. The worth of your life is proven, in an odd way, by the risk you put
it in.
Our urge to "go to the edge", is not only a reaction against technology and the inherent sedentariness prevelant in our workplaces. The US is evolving
into a society constantly reaching after extremes in other realms as well. The pace has picked up – both technologically and in the consumer world.
Big is no longer good enough, things must be enormous, high–powered, rugged. SUV's are a great example of our need for bigger and better. It used to
be that a simple pick–up truck was good enough to get one off the beaten path. Now we have the Ford Expedition, a monster of a car, with all the

cruisers around for the wealthy, ironically they are posed by advertisers as the greatest links ever to the Great Outdoors. This is just one example of
our never–satiated quest for something new, something more exciting. Our patienece level is dissolving (perhaps due to the faster pace of the media –

with London's quote. There are times when it's okay to have fun and take risks, one of the risks you could take is participating in extreme sports.
Extreme sports give you a rush of excitement which is said to make you feel truly alive. We don't have many times in our life when we have

extreme sports turn a blind eye to the medical benefits and the stereotypes put on participants, good things can come out of these activities. These gains
outweigh the consequences, which makes extreme sports worthwhile. From an outside perspective it may seem that medically concerned, extreme
sports would be frowned upon, but in fact, the opposite is true. John Donovan agrees, while speaking on behalf of Eric Brymer, an author of books about

Extreme Weather And Climate Change
Extreme Weather and it's Effect on Climate Change
"Natural disasters have killed more than 600,000 people and left behind trillions of dollars in damages in the last two decades, the United Nations
said Monday." (Chan) Extreme weather has caused millions of casualties and extreme damages over the years, but lately there has been an increase in
severe weather events. This is causing problems in the US, with the amount of tornadoes rising in tornado alley "Tennessee experienced a 67 percent
increase in tornado activity in 1983–2013 compared to the 1954–1983 time period. Oklahoma experienced a nearly 35 percent decrease in tornadoes in
1983–2013 compared to 1954–1983."
Climate change is defined as "a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards
and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels." Climate change has happened as a cycle
throughout history, with ice ages occurring, and then warming. The earth naturally warms and cools, but due to the burning of fossil fuels the rate is
growing exponentially.
The climate changing was first suspected in the 19th century when scientists in britain debated whether Europe was covered by ice in the past. "Guy
S Callender suggested that the warming trend revealed in the 19th century had been caused by a 10% increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide from
the burning of fossil fuels." (Harding) The debate intensified by 2005 when a study was published stating that a large scale disruption could occur by
2050 if we do not slow the process of climate change. The debate has now spiraled back to whether climate change is occurring or not. However the
climate warming pattern has been increasing exponentially since the 1950's.
Climate change has been linked to increased extreme weather events such as; Hurricanes, tornadoes, torrential rains, flooding, and drought. These are
all very debilitating to the communities they ravage through. The impact of California's drought on the economy has cost the state about 603 million,
with 4,700 job losses and a 550 million bill directly dealing with drought related cost. Tornadoes and severe thunderstorms

Examples Of Extreme Utilitarianism
The morality of euthanasia from an extreme utilitarian perspective means acting on what's best for the vast majority based on one's particular actions.
The morality of euthanasia is determining what is considered to be wrong and right in the eyes of someone with a utilitarian perspective. Extreme
utilitarianism is looking out for everyone's best interest in the end to avoid more devastating outcomes and to continue the pursue of everyone's
happiness (Smart 77). For example, if someone is causing various or extensive bad outcomes such as the holocaust, which was to exterminate all Jews,
moral standards are altered. Extreme utilitarianism expresses it is morally correct for someone to eliminate the main cause of the rippling negative
effect. Even if eliminating the main problem violates moral standards which says it is wrong, according to extreme utilitarianism since it is best for
everyone then it is now considered morally right. Just as, the morality of is euthanasia is performed based on the outcome of everyone's happiness and

Euthanasia is direct action towards an ill person to ultimately end their life (Rachel 245). Viewing the performance of euthanasia should vary

what the patient wants and if everyone else is in agreement. On the contrary if the patient is terminally ill and in incapable of deciding on what should

The Importance Of Extreme Work
Extreme work in organisations
The main focus of this argument is on how extreme work is moving into everyday organisational domains and why might this be something we
should be concerned about. The first question that comes to our mind is; are extreme jobs and extreme work the same subject? Jobs involving the
constancy of extreme working, with work spilling over a range of temporal, spatial and social boundaries, refusing containment, as evidenced in the
growth of corporate overwork cultures (Bozkurt, 2015) whereas extreme work is work that is being carried out in dangerous, high pressure,
unpredictable, risky situations (Bloomfield & Dale 2015). Although only extreme jobs are supposed to have extremity in the work place, nowadays
even normal jobs have phases in which they have to handle a lot of extreme work. These phases effect the working of the management drastically in
many ways, both positively and negatively. The rapid increase of extreme working conditions in normal jobs is a paramount issue, thus the question;
why is extreme work moving into our everyday organisational domains hits us.
Even in the occupations not known for intense, dirty or risky work tasks, there is a growing sense in which 'normal' workplaces are becoming
'extreme', especially in relation to work intensity, long–hours cultures and the normalizing of extreme work behaviours and cultures (Granter, McCann
and Boyle, 2015); like the work of a shopkeeper at Apple, when a new product is launched

An Inside Look at Extreme Programming Essay
Introduction
Extreme programming roots evolved from Kent Beck and Ware Cunningham working together on a research group at Tektronix and the collaboration
used on the project. (Larman, pg. 170) Extreme programming really became known during the Chrysler Comprehensive Compensation (C3) project
where Kent Beck took personal risk in deciding which factor of programming to emphasize. As the methods taken became known as Extreme
Programming (XP) the founders are often considered to be Ward Cunningham (the inventor), Kent Beck (the articulator), and Ron Jeffries (the realizer).

(Unknown, Extreme Programming Core Practices) The twelve–step practice of Extreme Programming aims towards the main goal, lowering the cost of
change. Implementing XP should make a project more flexible with respect to the changes that incur additional costs, thus lowering costs.
Extreme Programming is founded on four values: communication, simplicity, feedback, and courage. Simplicity comes by doing the simplest method
that can make the programming work. Communication focuses on teamwork and customer interaction rather than documentation. Communication
happens between programmers using pair programming, daily meetings, and throughout the planning game. Feedback relies on test results giving
actual resulting feedback. Courage is the confidence in the team to work fast, produce results, and develop as often as necessary. (Wells, D., 2009) This
figure represents the relationship that forms under the extreme programming methods. I believe this exemplifies the planning phase and the team
deliverables that go into consideration. The project works on five main operational principles that are based on the core values which are assume
simplicity, rapid feedback, incremental change, embrace the change, and quality work.
Now that I have explained the processes and practices of extreme programming I want to relate some of those practices to explore adopting the XP
methods, advantages found, and some failures that can occur while using

The Effects Of Extreme Poverty
Extreme poverty is the greatest National problems that is being faced in the world today; it has been classified as the worse crisis in the current
generation. It is estimated that more than 1.5 million people live in poverty in the world. Their average daily livelihood is below one dollar. The
people have minimum chances of making a difference in their lives; they have limited chances to employment. The people living in extreme poverty
have limited access to medical care, they lack food security, they fail to access good education, characterized by poor infrastructure, poor allocation of
public resources, no sanitation services among many others (Gloria, 67). The college students stand a high chance of benefiting from learning about
poverty, the knowledge gained will motivate them to take actions against poverty. The students will have a deeper understanding of the consequences
of poverty, and they will be challenged to work extra hard to avoid being caught in the same situation.
Through learning from the film "Living on one Dollar", the different impacts related to extreme poverty the students will develop skills that will help
them come up with business ideas, their mindset will be changed and get them into action. The students will learn the need to give back to the

Agile methodology is an alternative approach to traditional management, especially in software development. This method assists in responding to the
unpredictability of developing software. It uses incremental, iterative work sequences that are generally known as sprints. This methodology is used to
minimize risk by developing software in short time boxes. Figure (5) illustrating Agile methodology below.
Figure (5): Agile methodology explained
Advantages of Agile methodology: –
1.Agile methodology has an adaptive approach which is able to respond to the changing requirements of the clients.
2.Direct interaction and regular feedback from customer representative eliminate any speculation in the system.
Disadvantages of Agile Methodology: –
1.This methodology focuses on working software rather than documentation; hence it may result in lack of documentation.
2.The software development project can get diverted if the customer is unclear about the final outcome of his project.
This methodology is suitable if the environment is experiencing change that may have emerging requirements. It is also useful in high priority or

at the register. It's like data mining where it sifts through consumer data, which is identified and analyzed into meaningful relationships. However
now that these coupons are so easy for Extreme Couponers to get their hands on, it's causing problems for many companies. With the perks that come
with extreme couponing such as multiple shopping carts full of items and hundreds of dollars being saved, there are also some negative
characteristics. These negative characteristics affect marketers, stores, and even the consumers. Extreme couponing is creating more market savvy
consumers that are focusing less on brand loyalty; which is a big problem for marketers. According to Viamari "48% of consumers say coupons
heavily influence their brand decisions, and 38% of consumers say they would give up some of their favorite brands to save money."

Extreme Sports: The Real Reasons Of Extreme Sports
I'm going to be writing about if people do extreme sports for the ВЁadrenaline rushВЁ or because they find it ВЁrelaxingВЁ. I personally think
people do it for the adrenaline and I'll explain why I think that. I'm going to be analytical about this too. Reasons as to why that is. Most, if not all,
of the articles we read help conclude my decision. I'll be using evidence from the articles we read about extreme sports to follow my conclusion on
what I think is the real reason people do extreme sports. Well, let's find out. I think people do extreme sports for the adrenaline rush. In some ways, I
can understand why some people find it ВЁrelaxingВЁ but if you think about it, it's just adrenaline rushing through your body. Usually, when you get
an adrenaline rush you start feeling kinda numb and just live in the moment, more exciting, and I figured that some people might confuse this for
relaxation when in reality it's just excitement they're looking for. Something to excite them from their everyday life. It's not every day that someone
decides to do these dangerous sports. I guess it's more like a get away from everything all the problems in life. Or maybe not. ... Show more content on

Where's the relaxation in that? There isn't, they're just looking for excitement, adrenaline. I mean in a way I understand it a bit since you never
know, it can be their last chance for doing exciting things they're probably taking their chances to feel something different considering it's not that
easy to feel ВЁrelaxedВЁ so they look for a different way. Which would be none other than adrenaline itself. Some people are actually addicted to the
feeling of adrenaline so maybe they go out in search for it. You never know, but that's only a

Disasters Caused By Extreme Weather
In 21st century, more frequently crisis caused by extreme weather let us realized our inability. We can not only deal with the terrible consequences
caused by disaster, we need to find a method to reduce the damage of disaster. "Resilience" is put forward to deal with the natural disaster.
As the greenhouse effect aggravates, frozen earth begins to melt, sea level starts to rise and precipitation patterns are changing. Followed by extreme
weather, such as hurricane, tsunami, flood, extreme heat, drought, and tornado, becomes more frequent and more intense, additionally more difficult
to be predicted. Due to this, in past ten years, natural disaster affects over 220 million people, and over 100 million US dollars are damaged per year;
only in 2011, economic damage caused by urban disaster at over 380 billion US dollars. However, the largest damage is not the direct economic
losses, but the cost of post–disaster reconstruction. The worst thing is, for some place which has chronic or frequent crises, for instance the drought in
Horn of Africa, tsunami in Hawaiian Islands, hurricane in Louisiana and Florida, require deal with the threats frequently, rather than only deal with the
consequences.

Extreme Sports Not About Risk Taking Study
A wise person once said, "The proper function of man is to live, not exist. I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them. I shall use my time."
This quote explains that we should not waste our time and actually do something worth living for. That we should use the time we have to do or
become something, instead of wasting it. We should use this in our life just like how extreme sports athletes did. The only difference is that their path
is riskier than ours because they do many dangerous activities such as Base–Jumping, Cave–Diving, and BMX. Extreme sports are a good idea because
you get to be in the moment and feel the rush, but you should take some precautions because it can be very dangerous.
One reason why extreme sports should be participated in is because many people find their motivations and motives of life in it. In "Extreme Sports

Extreme Right Analysis
In an effort to further understand extreme Right parties, scholars have broken into two dominant camps: the demand–side/externalist camp and the
electoral– behavior internalist camp. The externalist camp views the extreme Right as the product of a series of external factors– they analyze the
economic, social, cultural environments that preceded the rise of the far right (Blee, 2007). This camp adopts a macro–level approach when studying
the extreme right and as such look at immigration, anti–establishment sentiment, social breakdown, the 'losers' of modernization, and the reaction to the
'new' politics of feminists and ecologists (Goodwin, 2006). Although he admits that externalism points scholars in the right direction, Goodwin says this

The internalist approach is more concerned with what the party has done to become prominent–therefore this approach focuses on party activists,
leadership, organization and ideology (Goodwin, 2006). Proponents of the internalist approach believe that the success of the extreme right is based on
them finding a winning balance of the four factors mentioned above. To them, the extreme right must have a strong charismatic leader, passionate
engaged activists; a strong organizational system consisting of high quality and quantity party membership, staffing, actors and finance as well as
strong willingness and ability to deploy the resources (Goodwin, 2006). Although the internalist perspective grants incredible insight into the mindset of
the supporters and members of the extreme right, papers with this perspective are rare because of the suspiciousness of such characters– they do not
trust intellectuals, entry into the group is difficult, and gaining access to the group can be dangerous (Blee, 2007). Furthermore, the rarity of internalist
approaches is made more difficult by how intellectuals view the extreme right, in that intellectuals have relegated the extreme right to the edge of
politics and have casted them and their reasoning as 'alien'–especially since the end of WW2 (Blee,

Are Extreme Sports Players Are Not Risk Taker?
Hey you, pssss yes you!!! have you ever ask yourself why some people say extreme sports players are risk–takers and you are agree with them? If you
answer is yes probably you can be wrong let me show you why you can be wrong. People sometimes don't know some points that you can see it's
fine and good for them, or probably they are practicing to lose their fear because they are persons with autism and they love practice to feel better. And
yes you can see the risk too about people who can be a master of the science and has the elements to study about a sport but the nature can win vs the
science this and more in this article.
The statement that say the people are playing extreme sports are not risk taker because Dr Eric Brymer, he say that a person very dedicated on his sports

Causes Of Extreme Poverty
Extreme poverty is something that has been happening in this world for decades, if not for centuries. It is the scarcity of materials such as money,
food and water, and other necessities that people need to live; in other words, it is the condition of being poor. It is heart retching to know that there
are so many poor people in this world. Extreme poverty has been happening mainly in African, Asian, China, and Indian countries. Over a billion
people live on under a dollar a day. People in extreme poverty have to drink dirty water to survive because of the lack of money to have fresh water.
Approximately 11 million children die due to the lack of food and fresh water. It is supposed to be the job of the wealthier to do what they can do
to help. I have seen the less wealthy people helping the poor than I have seen the poor helping the poor. I have also seen that people tend to only help
specific types of people and ignore the other types, which leads me to my main points. I believe that there are several subjects that we have read in our
literature and discussed on the discussion board are lead causes of extreme poverty. The causes are things that the authors of the literature from this
semester would not approve, including discrimination, violence, and low education (Roser and Ortiz–Ospina).

video creators to act as if they are

In the article, "Opinion: Gene editing is powerful tool for good but only if used wisely," an example of extreme language I found was, " Passed down

extreme language. My thoughts were that the author was emphasizing that parents are responsible for all of their child's genes. Another example of
extreme language is, "There should no longer be any doubt on that score." When the author says, "there should no longer be any doubt," it made me

people were so confident in this technology, because at first I thought I was scared of what it could bring to our world. I was also shocked when the
article stated, "Safety is clearly an important factor, but it is unlikely to be a decisive one." In my opinion, safety should be the most important
factor. If this technology is going to put people in danger, why would we use it? I was confused by the word eugenics, until the author provided the
definition. The author used the word several times and I did not know what it meant. First reading the article I thought it would be a terrible idea to

What Is Extreme Sports Essay
Your life is always at risk. Eating, sleeping, playing everything you do has a risk to it, there isn't that much difference between extreme sports and your
everyday life.
Is extreme sports a healthy decision or a selfish one. I say that most extreme sports are healthy, however, a few extreme sports are selfish. However, life
is always a risk, so the argument for enjoying life to the maximum doing extreme sports and keeping healthy has benefits that outweigh the fear of
what might happen or the concern about selfishness.
An extreme sport is when someone risks his or her life for the pleasure, or momentary thrill of just having fun, or getting paid for taking part in the a
death defying sport.
I believe that there are many extreme sports that are healthy challenging such as mountain climbing. On the other hand, I also believe that there are
extreme sports like, Boxing, Bull Fighting, Sky Diving ; all three sports provide a thrilling experience for the person taking part in the sport. On the
other hand the risk of life, or great injury is a constant reality.

life, learning good defense helps minimize the dangers. So, in that way that in one extreme sport that is not selfish or at least the levels of selfishness are

Extreme Right Movement
Introduction
After several failed attempts to establish a Post–War organization for the extreme far right–wing citizens of Germany, the first successful extreme right
movement drew from the foundation of the National Democratic Party of Germany, known as the NPD, in 1964. In the late 1960's, it was expanded
by victories in seven of the ten state parliaments and was widely expected to make it into the Bundestag. At its highest point, the party could boast a
count of some 28,000 members. This may not seem like a huge portion of the German population, but it does account for almost Вѕ of the organized
German right wing extremists. The NPD has failed to overcome the hurdle of a minimum vote to enter the Bundestag due to suffering a string of
setbacks ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, the party has long been anti–constitutional, in addition to being anti–establishment. The German state certainly has legal means at its disposal
to impose a ban upon the party, should it deem that the National Democratic Party has become a threat to national security. This has even been tried in
the past, but the п¬Ѓrst attempt to do so, in 2001–2003, did not succeed. Attempts of banning the group will focus less on NPD behaviors of
xenophobic and anti–Semitic rhetoric, and place more focus on their anti–constitutional tendencies. In 2012, an effort to eliminate the NPD was
introduced into the courts, but a decision had not been made at the time. Chancellor Merkel has yet to place a ban, and states that her administration
will not be seeking to disband the party. Merkel went further by stating that she did not consider a renewed ban application necessary, even considering
their militant aggressive attitude towards the existing order. Success of ban would make NPD the third party blacklisted in view of being
unconstitutional in post war Germany. The failure to dislodge the NPD from the political sphere has discouraged any further efforts since. The primary
reason for the failure of the attempted ban was simply strategic: The German security service had managed to covertly penetrate the NPD, and there
were fears that if the party went

The End Of Extreme Poverty
The end of extreme poverty isn't too far fetched. It's not something like world peace, or free money, it's actually quite realistic. The story, "The End of

extreme poverty." This shows a difference between extreme poverty and normal poverty, normal poverty is something you'd see just about
anywhere, even rich countries, but extreme poverty is the one we're trying to get rid of because it's a worse form of poverty. People in extreme
poverty don't have access to clean drinking water, or normal items. Getting rid of extreme poverty is a much more realistic idea then getting rid of all

Extreme Programming : A Successful Customer Satisfactions...
Introduction
Extreme Programming is one of the popular agile processes (Wells) and is about social changes (Beck and Andres). XP has been proven as one of the
successful customer satisfactions since it delivers potential software that can be used, as the customer needs it. It continues to empower developers as
it focus on developing excellent programing techniques and communication (Beck and Andres). Extreme programming includes collaborative teams in
order to accomplish and solve problems as efficient as possible (Wells). Extreme programming hav five essential ways to improve software projects
such: communication skills, simplicity, require feedback, respect and courage (Wells). An XP programmer requires maintaining communication with
customers and colleague, and sustaining their design simple and clean (Wells). Programmers are to get feedback by testing the software, and delivering
end system product to the customers as early s possible (Wells). Lastly, programmers respect their colleagues as they, together, courageously respond to
the changing and evolving technology (Wells).
In addition, XP has its own twelve simple rules these rules are: planning, building blocks or small releases, standardized naming schemes, collective
ownership, coding standard, simple design, refactoring, testing, pair programming continuous integration, 40–hour workweek and on–site customer
(Hutagalung). Although XP is an improved process, more efficient and predictable, it has its own weakness

Extreme Utilitarianism
The extreme utilitarian can praise actions that they are aware are wrong because they look at the moment and the situation they are in. They can
separate the consequences of actions itself from the consequences of approving an action. Utilitarian disagree about the judgment of right and wrong
actual consequences and probable consequences as they cannot tell the outcome in the future. As in the example of the man drowning in the water and
a person saves him from drowning and later they find out that the man was Hitler. After saving him, Hitler goes in Nazis and kills about six million
Jews in the World War two. Utilitarian does not think that they did something negative by saving Hitler because at that time they did not have the time

Weather And Extreme Weather
UNIT SUMMARY
Since the time of their early existence, humans have migrated to regions of the Earth that offer climates favorable to their survival and have planned to
persevere extreme weather events. In this unit, students will observe models and analyze data to learn how the interplay between atmospheric variables
such as temperature, air pressure, and moisture leads to the typical and sometimes extreme weather events that humans' experience. Analyzing weather
data to make predictions is a key part of this unit and students' understanding of how weather patterns can help us predict future weather events. This
unit aims at explaining how Earth's tilt, along with its changing position around the Sun causes variation in the amount of incoming solar radiation
(insolation) that reaches the surface. This unequal distribution of energy causes variations in seasons we experience on Earth. Students also will learn
that climate is influenced by latitude, proximity to large bodies of water, ocean currents, among other factors.

Introduction Extreme sports (also called action sport and adventure sport) are a media term for certain activities perceived as having a high level of
inherent danger. These activities often involve speed, height, high level of physical exertion, highly specialized gear or spectacular stunts. At present
date, there are no careful studies or statistics of deaths to separate activities with low or normal level of danger from those with high level of danger.
While use of the term "extreme sport" has spread far and wide to describe a multitude of different activities, exactly which sports are considered

Mountain in Aspen, Colorado, and they will continue to be held there through 2012.The Winter X Games gained media exposure due to their big name
sponsors and star–studded athletes. However, their marketing ideas add to that because of the number of fans who attend the actual events. As the
Journal of Sport Management (2006) explains, Generation X and Generation Y are the two most highly valued by marketers. This creates a broad
approach on marketing towards that certain demographic, which is why the Winter X Games' marketing and economic outlook is so "out of the box".
The Winter X Games inaugural year, 1997, was televised to 198 countries and 38,000 spectators attended the actual four day event. In 1998, the
attendance dropped to 25,000 spectators. But just two years later, a record attendance of 83,500 people attended the Winter X Games' east coast debut.

Extreme Measure Comes With Extreme Percaution Essay

  • 1. Extreme Measure Comes With Extreme Percaution Essay "Today, our fellow citizens, our way of life, our very freedom came under attack in a series of deliberate and deadly terrorist acts. We have taken the necessary security precautions and are prepared to do whatever is necessary to protect America and Americans." President George W. Bush On September 11, 2001, terrorists initiated multiple attacks on America that took the lives of nearly three thousand innocent people. It was a day of destruction and horror that will be branded in the minds of many for a long time. The tragedies on 9/11 could have been avoided if airport security in the United States had been stricter. A strong foundation for Homeland Security is essential in protecting America from further attacks. In the essay... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... For example, before September 11, if a mother and her two children were traveling and running late for the flight the airport attendants were willing to lend a helping hand. As the struggling mother and children hurry to the ticket counter the airport personnel help with her bags, quickly check her in, and ask as no questions. Instead, the government has attempted to add procedures to airport security that supposedly provides more "protection" for Americans. In her essay, Zeltser discusses how people are now examined with a fine tooth– comb. She talks about her brother recently returning from a vacation in Mexico. He was pulled aside and asked so many questions that he, himself, was almost convinced that he had taken part in illegal dealings while he was on vacation (Zeltser190). Does one consider extreme interrogation of this kind to be protective measures? A similar event happened with my brother last summer when he was returning to California after coming home for my high school graduation. Every year, my brother Wesley flies in from San Diego to visit and never checks any ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 2. Persuasive Essay On Extreme Sports With all of the benefits that come from extreme sports, there should be no debate whether it is okay to participate in them or not. The average person burns as much as 500 calories per hour while riding their board. This is just one of the many benefits that come from extreme sports. We can't live our whole lives being scared and over cautious, we need to take the risks, and get the benefits because of it. The topic of extreme sports if a worldwide debate. Many people argue that kids are too young to be doing such dangerous things, because their brains aren't fully developed, they are too young to understand what they are getting into, and more. However, looking to the other point of view, others argue that it builds confidence, that kids... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In the article, the author talks about kids being able to use their talent when she states, "Frank Farley, a psychologist who studies risk taking, says that if kids have the skill and the experience, there is no reason to hold them back. 'If a child has the skills to climb a serious mountain, should we hold them back from Mount Everest?' he asks." ( 22) Later on in the same article, the author goes on to say, "Jagger, like Jett, has had his share of injuries, but Geoff points out that his sons are happy and healthy." (22) Similarly stating, according to an online text it says, "...A challengingsport like skateboarding or dirt bike riding could be very healthy and fun..." (Blue Ridge Outdoors). Extreme sports allow kids to use their talent and have happiness and fun. If the kids possess the talent needed to perform in the sport, is there any reason to prevent them from doing things they love? The last reason why kids should be able to compete in extreme sports because it is an independent sport that is an additional option for kids, if they can not or don't enjoy, compete in other team sports like soccer, football, or basketball. According to the text, "Extreme sports also offer opportunities to kids who don't enjoy team sports like football or soccer." (22) Likewise, an online website reads, "But it's not all about the thrills. Extreme sports offer opportunities to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In "Extreme Sports Not About Risk Taking" (July, 13 2009) by Medical New Today, Dr. Brymer was a Queensland University of Technology researcher (people who establishes research partnerships between academia, industry, government and community actors), a lecturer from the School of Human Movement Studies in the Faculty of Health and has been researching whether the element of risk was an important factor among the people who do extreme sports. The faculty decided to use Extreme Programming as the method for the Foundations course because it was an agile method, it had good engineering practices, and it was a safe sandbox environment for engineers to try paired programming since many managers in industry were initially skeptical about its benefits. In 2005, the faculty allowed three of the sixteen teams tried our new curriculum to see if there were any serious issues in the switch, while other thirteen teams continued to follow a start point in 2004. The feedback was extremely positive so in 2006, all teams followed Extreme Programming. For the project plan duration, Waterfall teams needed fifteen weeks to finish their tasks where as Extreme Programming teams were given only thirteen weeks, a 13% reduction in time. 1.2.2. PET 1.1: In 2005, the VP of Engineering advised the three teams that rewriting the code from scratch would be easier than working with the existing code base. Team 30:1 decided to use the latest in Java technologies including Swing and Hibernate. PET 1.1, the team 's product became the starting point for the students in the following year. 1.2.3. Extreme Of The Mohave Dessert Extreme in the Mohave dessert Mohave dessert spread across Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and some part of the State of California and its climate reflects extremes of hot and cold. At winters temperatures are cool, as low as 8 Fahrenheit while the summer reaches about 120 Fahrenheit , winds are present years round blow about 25 MPH regularly and gusts of 75MPH. all the time extreme is unsustainable either for the weather or in any matter. I was wrong and I learned the lesson in a hard way, mostly when extreme things happen to someone, the first thing come to our mind is taking an extreme measure. I was one of those people who took an extreme measure. My decision moved to Nevada was made in two weeks' time when –16 Fahrenheit cold weather kicked in South Dakota, and when the days are dark and depression hanged and rolled on my shoulder. I remember those exciting days that I drove from South Dakota to Nevada and how the weather in Nevada open its(his) arms and comforted me; very peaceful and calm down weather, I felted like eating the cold yogurt in a warm weather. I never forget those days, I truly ask the question to myself, how priceless is the beautiful air we breathe in, the sun set sky images of an ombre of dark purple painting behind the mountains, and the moon hangs on the sky before the sun set. In a month time after I moved, I got a job which I love to work out door. In June The Mohave extreme weather kicked on and I straggled to breath, my eyes narrowed, my skin color ... Extreme Introvertedness A mental imbalance or extremely introverted turmoil is a neurodevelopmental issue that debilitates a man's capacity to impart, connect socially with others, and react to specific jolts in their environment. The condition is normally analyzed by the age of 3 and is more common in guys than females.1 Other firmly related wordings are extreme introvertedness range issue (ASD), and unavoidable formative issue (PDD). A mental imbalance range issue is portrayed by deferred dialect advancement, dreary and stereotyped examples of conduct, creative energy, and upset social interaction,2 while PDD alludes to a gathering of conditions that incorporate extremely introverted turmoil, Rett's issue, Asperger's issue, and in addition a gathering of other related conditions.3 The primary... • 8. Extreme Programming Up Front Design Methodologies Essay Extreme Programming (XP) has spent the past decades under perpetual scrutiny by software developers fixated on up front design methodologies. The idea behind this is simple: if you want to make sure something is well built, you must design it well first, then put it together using reliable tools. For objects such as houses, cars, or tables, of which the design evolves gradually throughout decades, the methods of up front design suffice. Computer programs, on the other hand, are products often made for an industry that evolves at higher rates than any other. For this type of environment, more dynamic methods are required, which is why XP suits as a viable candidate. How design is altered from the traditional up front design method will be... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... "reveals all the intentions", on the other hand, makes sense under the following train of thought: if something is simple, it is easy to understand, and therefore all or most intentions are clear to the observer. "does not have duplicated code" seems to make things easy to understand, but may not necessarily simplify a program. Finally, "has the fewest number of classes or methods" seems to be the most pertinent to the concept of simplicity. If a system consists of less functional elements than another one but holds the same product, it could be considered simpler. Following this definition, a system that contains the least amount of functional elements than any other, but holds the same product, could be considered simplest. Other than a few definitions of simplicity, Fowler mentions YAGNI, an acronym he claims is one of the "...greatest rallying cries in XP..." (Fowler). It stands for "You Aren't Going to Need it" (Fowler). The idea is summed up by Fowler as a method to only program what is currently needed for the project. This is supposed to allow easy changes to be made when needed. An example: consider the scenario where a calculator is being programmed. Its design incorporates 'addition' and 'multiplication'. Whilst implementing 'addition', it may seem logical to add some of the 'multiplication' features to reduce the amount of future work. Suddenly the client decides to replace 'multiplication' with 'division'. 'multiplication' now has to be removed or ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This can be explored by considering a multitude of cases that have plagued the creative world over this past year to include: Patrick Cariou vs Richard Prince in the United States District Courts of copyright infringement this was an extreme case in which a whole gallery of art not only violated the fair use in my opinion but managed to have a manipulation of the copyright, and in this case, but it wasn't the case as the litigation drove forward. In this case, specifically it worked out for Prince this was not a good thing rather a technicality that helped him to find a loophole. Copyright law states that if a work is "transformative" altering the original with new expression, meaning, or message. (Dictionary.com) then it falls under fair use and in the case of Cariou and Prince 25 out of the 30 pieces were found to be in the guidelines of the fair use law and the final 5 were sent forward to a second court. Though this case had a loose adaptation of what was fair use is there are other ones that didn't fare well for the manipulation of the art and law that protects it. Extreme Sports: A Reaction to Extreme Technology Essay Extreme Sports: A Reaction to Extreme Technology Many people in America work at jobs where they are separated from Nature and other people, sectioned off in cublicles, plugged into a machine, doing work which neither challenges their intellect nor is fulfilling personally. As a result, a separation forms not only between others and from Nature itself, but from themselves, and their purpose in life. A feeling develops that are notliving life to the fullest. He argues that extreme sports push you to this place by stretching the limits of what you think you can do – that is, pushing what seems rationally possible. In this way, you gain ultimate control and connection through your body. The worth of your life is proven, in an odd way, by the risk you put it in. Our urge to "go to the edge", is not only a reaction against technology and the inherent sedentariness prevelant in our workplaces. The US is evolving into a society constantly reaching after extremes in other realms as well. The pace has picked up – both technologically and in the consumer world. Big is no longer good enough, things must be enormous, high–powered, rugged. SUV's are a great example of our need for bigger and better. It used to be that a simple pick–up truck was good enough to get one off the beaten path. Now we have the Ford Expedition, a monster of a car, with all the features of a luxery sedan, but a good foot and a half off the ground and wide as a tank. While these types of automobiles have become the hippest cruisers around for the wealthy, ironically they are posed by advertisers as the greatest links ever to the Great Outdoors. This is just one example of our never–satiated quest for something new, something more exciting. Our patienece level is dissolving (perhaps due to the faster pace of the media – a movie is not a movie anymore without at least three really good, firey explosions.) and it is taking more ... There are times when it's okay to have fun and take risks, one of the risks you could take is participating in extreme sports. Extreme sports give you a rush of excitement which is said to make you feel truly alive. While most people against extreme sports turn a blind eye to the medical benefits and the stereotypes put on participants, good things can come out of these activities. These gains outweigh the consequences, which makes extreme sports worthwhile. From an outside perspective it may seem that medically concerned, extreme sports would be frowned upon, but in fact, the opposite is true. John Donovan agrees, while speaking on behalf of Eric Brymer, an author of books about sport psychology, that even though extreme sports may cause many injuries and expensive hospital bills, psychologically speaking, they can "facilitate more ... • 13. Extreme Weather And Climate Change Extreme Weather and it's Effect on Climate Change "Natural disasters have killed more than 600,000 people and left behind trillions of dollars in damages in the last two decades, the United Nations said Monday." (Chan) Extreme weather has caused millions of casualties and extreme damages over the years, but lately there has been an increase in severe weather events. This is causing problems in the US, with the amount of tornadoes rising in tornado alley "Tennessee experienced a 67 percent increase in tornado activity in 1983–2013 compared to the 1954–1983 time period. Oklahoma experienced a nearly 35 percent decrease in tornadoes in 1983–2013 compared to 1954–1983." Climate change is defined as "a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels." Climate change has happened as a cycle throughout history, with ice ages occurring, and then warming. The earth naturally warms and cools, but due to the burning of fossil fuels the rate is growing exponentially. The climate changing was first suspected in the 19th century when scientists in britain debated whether Europe was covered by ice in the past. "Guy S Callender suggested that the warming trend revealed in the 19th century had been caused by a 10% increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide from the burning of fossil fuels." (Harding) The debate intensified by 2005 when a study was published stating that a large scale disruption could occur by 2050 if we do not slow the process of climate change. The debate has now spiraled back to whether climate change is occurring or not. However the climate warming pattern has been increasing exponentially since the 1950's. Climate change has been linked to increased extreme weather events such as; Hurricanes, tornadoes, torrential rains, flooding, and drought. These are all very debilitating to the communities they ravage through. The impact of California's drought on the economy has cost the state about 603 million, with 4,700 job losses and a 550 million bill directly dealing with drought related cost. The morality of euthanasia is determining what is considered to be wrong and right in the eyes of someone with a utilitarian perspective. Extreme utilitarianism is looking out for everyone's best interest in the end to avoid more devastating outcomes and to continue the pursue of everyone's happiness (Smart 77). Risks, although they do create a lot of adrenaline, are not the main reason why these extreme athletes participate in these sports. There's a lot more to the extreme sports world than just the adrenaline junkies and risk takers, believe it or not there is a lot more serenity in the sports than thought to be. • 17. The Importance Of Extreme Work Extreme work in organisations The main focus of this argument is on how extreme work is moving into everyday organisational domains and why might this be something we should be concerned about. The first question that comes to our mind is; are extreme jobs and extreme work the same subject? Jobs involving the constancy of extreme working, with work spilling over a range of temporal, spatial and social boundaries, refusing containment, as evidenced in the growth of corporate overwork cultures (Bozkurt, 2015) whereas extreme work is work that is being carried out in dangerous, high pressure, unpredictable, risky situations (Bloomfield & Dale 2015). Although only extreme jobs are supposed to have extremity in the work place, nowadays even normal jobs have phases in which they have to handle a lot of extreme work. These phases effect the working of the management drastically in many ways, both positively and negatively. The rapid increase of extreme working conditions in normal jobs is a paramount issue, thus the question; why is extreme work moving into our everyday organisational domains hits us. Even in the occupations not known for intense, dirty or risky work tasks, there is a growing sense in which 'normal' workplaces are becoming 'extreme', especially in relation to work intensity, long–hours cultures and the normalizing of extreme work behaviours and cultures (Granter, McCann and Boyle, 2015); like the work of a shopkeeper at Apple, when a new product is launched ... Communication focuses on teamwork and customer interaction rather than documentation. Communication happens between programmers using pair programming, daily meetings, and throughout the planning game. Feedback relies on test results giving actual resulting feedback. Courage is the confidence in the team to work fast, produce results, and develop as often as necessary. (Wells, D., 2009) This figure represents the relationship that forms under the extreme programming methods. I believe this exemplifies the planning phase and the team deliverables that go into consideration. The externalist camp views the extreme Right as the product of a series of external factors– they analyze the economic, social, cultural environments that preceded the rise of the far right (Blee, 2007). This camp adopts a macro–level approach when studying the extreme right and as such look at immigration, anti–establishment sentiment, social breakdown, the 'losers' of modernization, and the reaction to the 'new' politics of feminists and ecologists (Goodwin, 2006). To them, the extreme right must have a strong charismatic leader, passionate engaged activists; a strong organizational system consisting of high quality and quantity party membership, staffing, actors and finance as well as strong willingness and ability to deploy the resources (Goodwin, 2006). Although the internalist perspective grants incredible insight into the mindset of the supporters and members of the extreme right, papers with this perspective are rare because of the suspiciousness of such characters– they do not trust intellectuals, entry into the group is difficult, and gaining access to the group can be dangerous (Blee, 2007). The NPD has failed to overcome the hurdle of a minimum vote to enter the Bundestag due to suffering a string of setbacks ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In fact, the party has long been anti–constitutional, in addition to being anti–establishment. The German state certainly has legal means at its disposal to impose a ban upon the party, should it deem that the National Democratic Party has become a threat to national security. This has even been tried in the past, but the п¬Ѓrst attempt to do so, in 2001–2003, did not succeed. Attempts of banning the group will focus less on NPD behaviors of xenophobic and anti–Semitic rhetoric, and place more focus on their anti–constitutional tendencies. In 2012, an effort to eliminate the NPD was introduced into the courts, but a decision had not been made at the time. Chancellor Merkel has yet to place a ban, and states that her administration will not be seeking to disband the party. Merkel went further by stating that she did not consider a renewed ban application necessary, even considering their militant aggressive attitude towards the existing order. Success of ban would make NPD the third party blacklisted in view of being unconstitutional in post war Germany. The failure to dislodge the NPD from the political sphere has discouraged any further efforts since. The primary reason for the failure of the attempted ban was simply strategic: The German security service had managed to covertly penetrate the NPD, and there were fears that if the party went ... • 38. The End Of Extreme Poverty The end of extreme poverty isn't too far fetched. It's not something like world peace, or free money, it's actually quite realistic. The story, "The End of Poverty," is a story centered around the idea of ending extreme poverty. But in this book he mentions this, "Whose societies that are destabilized by extreme poverty." This shows a difference between extreme poverty and normal poverty, normal poverty is something you'd see just about anywhere, even rich countries, but extreme poverty is the one we're trying to get rid of because it's a worse form of poverty. People in extreme poverty don't have access to clean drinking water, or normal items. Getting rid of extreme poverty is a much more realistic idea then getting rid of all poverty so ... • 39. Extreme Programming : A Successful Customer Satisfactions... Introduction Extreme Programming is one of the popular agile processes (Wells) and is about social changes (Beck and Andres). XP has been proven as one of the successful customer satisfactions since it delivers potential software that can be used, as the customer needs it. It continues to empower developers as it focus on developing excellent programing techniques and communication (Beck and Andres). Extreme programming includes collaborative teams in order to accomplish and solve problems as efficient as possible (Wells). Extreme programming hav five essential ways to improve software projects such: communication skills, simplicity, require feedback, respect and courage (Wells). An XP programmer requires maintaining communication with customers and colleague, and sustaining their design simple and clean (Wells). Programmers are to get feedback by testing the software, and delivering end system product to the customers as early s possible (Wells). Lastly, programmers respect their colleagues as they, together, courageously respond to the changing and evolving technology (Wells). In addition, XP has its own twelve simple rules these rules are: planning, building blocks or small releases, standardized naming schemes, collective ownership, coding standard, simple design, refactoring, testing, pair programming continuous integration, 40–hour workweek and on–site customer (Hutagalung). Although XP is an improved process, more efficient and predictable, it has its own weakness ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

They can separate the consequences of actions itself from the consequences of approving an action. Utilitarian disagree about the judgment of right and wrong actual consequences and probable consequences as they cannot tell the outcome in the future. As in the example of the man drowning in the water and a person saves him from drowning and later they find out that the man was Hitler. After saving him, Hitler goes in Nazis and kills about six million Jews in the World War two. Utilitarian does not think that they did something negative by saving Hitler because at that time they did not have the time to look ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 41. Weather And Extreme Weather UNIT SUMMARY Since the time of their early existence, humans have migrated to regions of the Earth that offer climates favorable to their survival and have planned to persevere extreme weather events. In this unit, students will observe models and analyze data to learn how the interplay between atmospheric variables such as temperature, air pressure, and moisture leads to the typical and sometimes extreme weather events that humans' experience. Analyzing weather data to make predictions is a key part of this unit and students' understanding of how weather patterns can help us predict future weather events. This unit aims at explaining how Earth's tilt, along with its changing position around the Sun causes variation in the amount of incoming solar radiation (insolation) that reaches the surface. This unequal distribution of energy causes variations in seasons we experience on Earth. Students also will learn that climate is influenced by latitude, proximity to large bodies of water, ocean currents, among other factors. • 42. Extreme Sports Introduction Extreme sports (also called action sport and adventure sport) are a media term for certain activities perceived as having a high level of inherent danger. These activities often involve speed, height, high level of physical exertion, highly specialized gear or spectacular stunts. At present date, there are no careful studies or statistics of deaths to separate activities with low or normal level of danger from those with high level of danger. While use of the term "extreme sport" has spread far and wide to describe a multitude of different activities, exactly which sports are considered 'extreme' is debatable. There are however several characteristics common to most extreme sports. Extreme sports tend to be more solitary... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The two years following that, the Games were held in Mount Snow, Vermont. And since 2002 the Winter X Games have been held at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado, and they will continue to be held there through 2012.The Winter X Games gained media exposure due to their big name sponsors and star–studded athletes. However, their marketing ideas add to that because of the number of fans who attend the actual events. As the Journal of Sport Management (2006) explains, Generation X and Generation Y are the two most highly valued by marketers. This creates a broad approach on marketing towards that certain demographic, which is why the Winter X Games' marketing and economic outlook is so "out of the box". The Winter X Games inaugural year, 1997, was televised to 198 countries and 38,000 spectators attended the actual four day event. In 1998, the attendance dropped to 25,000 spectators. But just two years later, a record attendance of 83,500 people attended the Winter X Games' east coast debut. The Games continue to grow thanks to certain marketing plans such as The Interactive Village, Musical Line–Ups, and the Snowskate Park. 2.2. The Interactive Village The Interactive Village is described as the designated Official Winter X Games Sponsor Booth area. It is usually located by the main entrance of the event and it offers fun activities for all attending fans. Some activities include scheduled autograph signings, giveaways for ...
