Persuasive Essay On Watch For Children
For most parents it is easy to make the common mistake of not providing enough attention to their kids, especially in large places such as Disney
World in Orlando, Florida. Kids are easily distracted and in matter of seconds they will run off their parent's sight which is where it is possible for the
kids to end up lost. I believe kids as well as parent should take more responsibility when it comes to family trips, therefore parents should stress more
to their children about the dangers of populated locations. When I was a kid I had a terrible experience at Disney world. When I was about eight
years old my family took me to Disney World which is where I was lost and I was scared for over half the day. I had no clue that going to that trip
would turn out to be my worst nightmare. As a result, it is important to be in watch for children and parents should be extra careful when it comes to
keeping an eye out for their kids. For kids, being lost in Disney World can be frightening, or life threatening therefore, it is vital for parents to always
be on watch for their children.
On the way over to Orlando, Florida where Disney world is located, I could almost count the minutes to be there. I was impatient to be there already.
As a child, me and my close friends would get together and watch cartoons right after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From that point on I
developed an enthusiasm for some Disney characters and hoped to one–day visit Disney World and live the full

Memories Of My Life
My childhood is full of many fond memories. When I think back to some of the earliest times, I can only remember tiny sparks and flickers of
certain moments. However, at a certain age, I began to more vividly remember events in my life. The first family vacation I can fully recall was a trip
my family took to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. When I found out about the trip it was Christmas morning. My brother and I each got an
envelope, which encased tickets to Disney World. I was ecstatic to go to Disney World because it was a childhood dream come true for me! When
the day of the trip arrived, we stuffed all of our luggage into the back of our minivan and began our trip to the airport in Charlottesville, Virginia.
We waited three long hours for our flight to leave Charlotteville, but we finally got onto the plane. I had a feeling of butterflies in my stomach as I
waited for the plane to take off. I sat next to my dad, and he held my hand to take away the nerves. From above the clouds, everything looked
miniature, and I remember feeling like a giant. We flew from Charlottesville, Virginia to Charlotte, North Carolina. At the airport in Charlotte, our
flight to Orlando was delayed. We waited an eternity, and I wasn't surprised to find that it was dark outside when we boarded our plane. We flew
through a small city in Georgia, and all of the lights resembled a cluster of glowing stars. We reached Orlando, Florida around 12:30 AM, and our
journey to the Swan and Dolphin

Descriptive Vacation
Everyone can imagine their own perfect getaway. My vacation to Orlando became the magnum opus summer trip. Before, most of my vacations with
my family consisted of locations in Oklahoma and Texas. However, Orlando provided serendipitous moments of my life.
The vacation all started on August 22, 2016, with my family driving all the way to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. The airport greeted us with its
huge, orange, and gray structure, as it swarmed with numerous people and their luggage. After waiting for our tickets, we arrived at our scheduled
plane. The plane contained a Spirit logo with yellow, black, and white colors. After ten minutes of settling down, our massive flight took towards the
luminous sky. Throughout the journey, the sky glowed like a large, orange lantern. I became amazed at the sky's beauty, as the Sun's rays kissed the
humongous clouds. Once we landed in Orlando, the city sparkled with its large buildings and palm trees. The weather wrapped me and my family
with a warm hug. After renting a car, we drove throughout the International Drive, a popular spot of Orlando, and saw incredible sights: the entrance of
Universal Orlando, the entrance of Sea World, and billboards that came to life. After the sights, I felt that Orlando and I would make a beautiful
friendship.
On August 23, my family and I visited the "Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium." The museum provided unique exhibits including a real–life
shrunken head, the Feejee Mermaid, and a tunnel with vertigo illusions of rotating lights. The museum itself resembled a house broken in half during
an earthquake. My personal favorite exhibit included a room that provided an optical illusion of it slanting to the right. It contained a pool table that
gave a marvelous phenomenon of a ball acting like a boomerang once it collided into one of the holes. "Wow, that's amazing!", exclaimed my sister,
Angelica. I felt more intrigued than ever before, as we all departed the museum.
On August 24, my family and I visited the "Disney's Animal Kingdom" theme park. The park gave an exotic atmosphere with its green, rainforest trees
and bushes. The object that commanded the most attention included a large, human–structured tree known as the

Women's Rights For Women In The Russian Revolution
Before the times of the revolution, women in Russia had no say about their lives. They were forced to tend to the home their husband provided for
them, and many grew up illiterate. The homes they were forced to tend to were full of aggression and constant abuse from their husband or father; male
dominance in Russia thrived before the revolution. Women in that time were not emotionally strong enough to take a stand for their equality. The
thought of a woman working outside of their home disgusted many men living during that time. The Russian Revolution created a gateway for women
to take an active role in a once anti–women's rights society. When the revolution began on March 8, 1917, education in Russia became a new
priority (Figes). Women living in poverty prior to the revolution were given no opportunities to become educated. Only women with a wealthy
husband gained access to very limited schooling; those who did not marry rich were left with no access to obtain an education (McElvanney). Often
times at the age of ten or twelve, girls began working; they were lucky to be exposed to one complete year of education (Frederiksen). A mere 13.1%
of the female population in Russia was considered literate prior to the revolution (Frederiksen). The revolution allowed women to take a stand to their
right to a proper education. Riots that formed during the revolution paved a pathway for free education to become mandatory for all children. Along
with their children, women gained

Walt Disney 's Opening Day
Before Walt Disney World was built, Walt Disney had to secretly purchase the land using fake company names in order to buy it inexpensively. He
first had to explore across the United States for the perfect location. He wanted to fulfill his idea: "A family park where parents and children could
have fun together." He had already begun when Disneyland opened in 1955. Opening day was successful in numbers: the freeway had a seven mile
backup, an estimated 15,000 people were coming, but 28,000 showed up that day (Klein).
Purchasing the Land
Before there could be any ideas about what the new park would look like, a location had to be determined. Walt Disney searched all across the United
States. He needed an area with lots of land; Walt said he would never make the mistake of not purchasing land around the structured park because as
soon as Disneyland opened, it was surrounded by tacky stores, restaurants, hotels and gift shops. They were visible from inside the park, which made
him very upset (Mongello).
One of the first ideas for a location was Niagara Falls, New York. Walt flew to the Falls and met with the mayor to discuss his idea. The plan didn't
last very long, and Walt soon moved to another location, Marceline, Missouri. It was where Walt lived until he was nine. He planned on buying a
45–acre farm for the project. It was a special place that meant a lot to him; actually, Main Street in Disneyland was inspired by Marceline. Before the
plan was tossed, Walt stayed up

Know What You Are Entitled to for Each Credit The best way to get the most value out of the Disney Dining Plan is to make sure that you understand
what each meal entitlement credit includes. If you are using a credit for a Quick–Service meal, you are entitled to an entrГ©e and a non–alcoholic
beverage for breakfast and an entrГ©e, dessert, and non–alcoholic beverage for lunch or dinner. If you are using a credit for a Table–Service meal, you
are entitled to an entrГ©e and non–alcoholic beverage for breakfast; an entrГ©e, dessert, and non–alcoholic beverage for lunch or dinner; or a full
buffet for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. On the Deluxe plan, you also get an appetizer with your lunch or dinner Table–Service credit. If you would like
to dine at a restaurant that is considered a "Signature Dining Experience," you may use two of your Table–Service credits for a meal that includes an
appetizer, entrГ©e, dessert, and non–alcoholic beverage. It is important to note that diners on the Premium or Platinum plan may dine at Signature
Restaurants for only one credit instead of two. A Snack credit entitles you to one snack item designated by Disney with a special logo (covered
in–depth in Tip #5). All of the credits for your travel party are in one "pool," so if two adults travel to Walt Disney World for 3 nights and choose the
Quick–Service Dining Plan, they will have a total of 12 Quick–Service meal credits and 6 Snack credits to use throughout their vacation. Whenever

Descriptive Essay About Disney World
Have you ever gone to Disney World? Well I have and it was so much fun! There are different themed areas inside of the park like, Fantasyland,,
Tomorrowland, and Main Street to name a few. Each area is like walking into a whole different place. One second you're in Fantasy Land and the next
you are in Tomorrowland.
The first thing that you see when you walk into the actual park is Magic kingdom. Magic kingdom feels truly magical. There is a giant castle,
Cinderellas castle, where you can have a royal feast with all the princesses and look over the park during the day or night. My family had a late
reservation, and we would walk out and see the entire park light up without one single person. On our 3rd day my mom dragged me onto the Everest
ride, one I was dreading. Everest is a big mountain with a fun scene and the most popular ride not including space mountain, but we will get to that
later. Mount Everest was so fun in the beginning i tried to back out but once we got close my mom told me that i had to ride time ride the ride
because she knew i would love it, i was just too scared.(the ride is huge and looks really scary, so you can't blame me) The ride went up into a cave
and the saw a monkey trying to grab you because it looked like the track were broken, so he was taking on his food i guess. At the first moment you
think that you are going to go backward down the giant hill you see when you pass it, but the secretly change paths and then you go down the giant hill

meet up with more family. We had went in the middle of June and were going for a week, we took a plane there and back and stayed at a hotel for a
day or two. My family and I went up to Orlando for a couple days and then we drove to Miami, Florida to see my cousins because they used to live up

that trip and there my best friends. We spent our first day swimming and getting used to each other, for the rest of the days we were signed up for

then after that we would swim more and fish and take pictures. My favorite part of the trip was going to my first NBA game. It was the highlight
because I got to meet the teammates from Miami Heat and we were part of the family room so we got to eat fancy food and play basketball and

Why Is Disney World A Dream Come True
Disney World is known as the place "Where Dreams Come True" because of the princesses and fantasy characters created by Walt Disney. Disney
World is really a fun, amazing place to visit and is truly a magical place. Disney World Resort was first envisioned by Walt Disney in the early
1960's. Walt wanted to make a place that would give people a chance to experience unique entertainment. This place was called Disneyland and was
located in California. Almost three years later, the Disney planning team decided to make Disney World inOrlando,Florida because of the year round
summers and it was ranked first in tourist attraction. Construction started in April 1969 and planned to finish on October 1, 1971. Nine thousand
workers worked on Disney World for the two years it was in construction. Finally on the special day Disney World was opened with around 10,000
people there to celebrate. Today Disney World consists of four different kingdoms and lives up to its' expectations of making dreams come true.
Transportation between kingdoms and to Disney World is very efficient. Buses, trams, ferries, and a monorail are provided for people. You also don't
have to wait very long for transportation at the stations. A downside to transportation is, since Disney World has people from all over the world, it
can be very crowded in the stations. For example, in the monorail there are limited seats and you are most likely going to have to stand. One drawback
of this magical adventure is

Project Future Book Report
Walt Disney World Resort is known worldwide and is a widely popular vacation spot to millions of families every year. Though so many people
know about this central Florida destination, very few know just exactly how it came about. In his book, Project Future, Chad Denver Emerson
describes in detail the process Disney and his team went through in order to make his dream a reality. From finding the location for the project to
finalizing legislations, Emerson recalls the efforts put in by so many and the difficulties they faced while doing so. Through this book, we see just how
state and local government were put into use during the development of Project Future. With the huge success of Disneyland, Walt Disney became
interested in working on another project on the East Coast. He had received many letters inquiring a Disney expansion in their state or city, but the
majority received a response from Disney stating that he was not interested. Although, there were rare occasions when Walt's interest did pique,
particularly in Niagara, New Jersey, and St. Louis, but nothing more than a few meetings and visits came out of this. One major problem with these
locations is that the winter weather would require indoor ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

and the fact that he never was able to see his next big dream become a reality is truly tragic. The story of the creation of Walt Disney World is surely

My Life And Future Goals In Life
A common statement some might say to someone of my age is: "Anyone under the age of eighteen cannot possibly experience something that will
change their perspective on life; they are simply too young." Regardless of how old someone is, they can still face experiences that could one day
shape them as a person. I, personally, have participated in an event that has completely impacted my life to this day, and has helped me discover
my future goals in life. This event has made me want to change the world and I believe has made me a better person. In the summer of 2011, I was
given what I believed was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Since I was a young girl, I only ever wanted to be around animals, and I dreamt that
one day I would be able to be an "animal doctor", as I once called it. So when my mother told me I would be spending two weeks at the SeaWorld
and Busch Gardens Adventure Camp, I was elated. I would be able to work with animals both large and small and be a part of the park's
conservational efforts. Once I was there, the opportunity felt even more like a dream. I and other campers participated in activities like sleeping
beside beluga whales, swimming with sharks, and meeting one of the veterinarians at the park. Everything was perfect, it seemed, until the events at
the park began to become a bit 'emotional' so to speak. After the first few days at SeaWorldOrlando, our camp counselor decided it was time to show
us the new additions at the park. She took us

The City Of Orlando Florida
Since the humble beginnings of the American industrial revolution, the urban city has been the pinnacle of rapid development and robust growth.
Despite the efforts of notable city planners such as Sir Ebenezer Howard, Peter Calthorpe and Andres Duany the potential of true sustainable
development has not been realized by the majority of urban cities. The inevitable question asserts how cities can continue growth and development
while corroborating the triple bottom line as a framework for virtually every city.
The urban city by modern definition is characterized by a broken community structure, dangerous high density, and a lack of sustainable design. The
city of Orlando Florida is a quintessential example of a city designed not on ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Education
At the foundation of every issue in the broad scope of sustainability is a fundamental lack of proper environmental education as an individual, which
ultimately permeates into all of society. The education referred to here is not simply the standardized tests, memorizing and essays of the modern day
classroom but the education, which takes place at home. As children, there is a universal myth that has been passed down since the golden age of the
industrial revolution. This idea of the American dream informs virtually every decision Americans make and how society is structured. Simply put:
"Get an education, get a Job, have children, acquire wealth, capital and leave a legacy before you die." The fundamental problem with this is that there
is no mention of our most basic responsibility, as environmental stewards. In short this anthropocentric paradigm acts a rearguard for sustainable
development and begins as early as the conception of language in a child's life.
Over the course of the next 15 years there are very simple yet, crucial strategies that must be in place to amend not the foundational goals of America or
the American dream but rather, the means of achieving it. This calls first for a new approach to the environmental movement: disregard everything that
has been labeled and stigmatized as environmentalism. Instead the education infrastructure must be replaced with the institution of logic and respect for

Competitive Advantages Of Universal Orlando Resorts
Universal Orlando Resort is the one of the top five largest theme parks in the world, coming second only to Walt Disney World. In 2016, they saw
roughly 47.3 million visitors walk through their gates. They compete directly with Walt Disney World Resorts which is just down the street, in terms of
theme parks. In the beginning, they sought to be an additional theme park in an industry relatively controlled by one party "Disney." As they continued
to grow they saw other areas to invest in and competed in every facet of a vacation destination.
One of Universal's major competitive advantages comes from their ability to license characters, themes and stories from major movie productions due
to their parent company "Comcast" owning the movie producing goliath "Universal Pictures." This allows them to add new feature rides such as Harry
Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Fast and Furious Supercharged and Jimmy Fallon's Race through New York. Additionally, NBC Universal
acquired distribution rights to Illumination and DreamWorks animation companies allowing them to add rides and sell merchandise that featured
movies such as Minions, Shrek and Secret Life of Pets.
Before the Walt Disney Company purchased Marvel Comics in 2009 for $4 Billion dollars, Universal made a deal in 1994 with then "Marvel
Entertainment Group" to utilize the rights of certain characters in their Marvel Universe. This universe was subsequently named Marvel Super Hero
Island due to being located in

Autobiography Of My Mother
Allison's Autobiography My mom always told me "You must be the change you want to see in the world." One day, I found the quote on Google. The
quote said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." –By Gandhi. That has always been my favorite quote. May 1 of 2006 in Jonesboro,
Arkansas, I was the second child born of my parents Shanna and Richard Payne. They named me Allison. My name means bold, independent, and
happy I am.
When I was exactly 9 months old, I said my first word: "Mama." My mom was very proud of me. It was very important to her that my first word was
her name. I called her Mama until I was either three or four. I started using "Mommy" from when I was 5 to this day still sometimes. My second word
was "Daddy." I'm not positive when I first said that, but to this day, I still call him Daddy sometimes. I have always loved words. I like big words,
small words, any words! I don't know why I love them.
I was eleven months and three weeks old when I took my first steps. Again, my mom was so proud of me! I walked straight to her, and when I got
to her, I fell into her arms. When I learned to walk, I never sat still. I was always moving, walking, running, or jumping! I have always been a person
who can sit still if I need to, but I would rather be doing something active or productive.
I moved from Paragould, Arkansas to Mt. Home, Arkansas in 2008, so I was 2 years old. Myfamily lived in a little house in Paragould on a street called

Walt Disney Corrupts
Disney is a lie. Why? This corrupt company brainwashes consumers into handing over their hard–earned money in order to purchase overpriced
merchandise, all while under a facade of innocence and happiness. Fairy–tale endings and a cheerful mouse might represent Disney's projected values,
but underneath the exterior lay indicators of Disney's corrupt ideals. Common people are deceived into handing over their hard–earned money to
corrupt companies in order to purchase overpriced products. The power that these companies gain allows these businesses to control, to a certain
extent, politics and influence political decisions. These companies will not hesitate to fire American workers in order to save a handful of dollars and

Disney spent around $2.5 million on support for Republicans and their campaign in 2012 because of the anti–Florida casino stance of Republican state
legislators. Holding influence over potentially powerful legislators would decrease the chance of more casinos appearing in southern Florida, which
would detriment Disney's profit from Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida (Zara). Furthermore, Walt Disney, the founder of Disney, imposed his
political beliefs by marketing films and rides that promoted the development and deployment of atomic bombs, a highly controversial issue during the
1960s. As Giroux writes in his book The Mouse that Roared, "Disney played a formidable role in convincing every school child that atomic energy

Analysis Of The Documentary ' Blackfish '
Sea World rebuttal was not considered in the documentary of "Blackfish" which clearly defines the bias views of the creator. So without choice,
viewers are marked to take the side of the creator or leave the documentary feeling like a kid in a fine china shop, unable to touch or lose your
balance for fear of shattering the look of the shop. Unfortunately, the problem with animal activist groups is that they force their religious views of
animals on others with no other biases to consider. Hence, their real arguments are skewed and we are unable to clearly see the real poignant side
without the opinions.
There are significant arguments on both sides of the issue, but the real issues are keeping the animals in captivity, keeping them alive, keep the cycle of
life continuing to grow and produce all that nature intended. Many believe for the purpose of learning more about ourselves as humans with have the
right to explore our possibilities with the similarities of those of the mammal species. Theses people argue for the acceptable need for capturing the
animals in the wild and keep them in a protected environment, there are several points to stated and generally cited. Theses include:
Captivity kills orcas. Very few captive orcas make it to midlife (approximately 30 years for males and 45 for females) and not one out of more than 200
held in captivity has ever come close to old age (60 for males, 80 for females). Most captive orcas die while they are still very young by wild

Walt Disney World 's Theme Parks Have Changed Their...
Walt Disney World's theme parks have recently changed their pricing strategy to demand–based pricing (Barnes, 2016). Demand–based pricing is when
consumer demand or perceived value is used to set the price of the service or good (Boundless, 2017). Demand–based pricing is well–known for being
used in the hotel and airline industry. It was not until early 2016 when Disney decided to make the switch to this as well (Sampson, 2016). Ticket
prices now cost up to 20% more during holidays and weekends (Barnes, 2016). Seasonal changes were also included, where "peak" tickets for visits
during December, Spring break, and July weekends come at a higher price (Barnes, 2016). A three–tiered system based on the date of the visit was...

Direct and indirect competitive brands for pricing strategy
The anticipation of heightened demand dynamically affects admission price for theme parks. Walt Disney World and Disneyland recently introduced
variable pricing in 2016 so that park tickets will cost more during holidays and peak period weekends. This only applies to one–day tickets, and not
multi–day packages. Disney's major competitor, Comcast's Universal Studios, has also adopted demand–based pricing. One difference though, is that
their system provides incentives for visiting on off–peak days, and/or booking tickets online in advance. Guests can get $5 to $20 off the walk–up
price, with the bigger discounts saved for midweek, low–demand periods. A variety of other discounts, packages, and promotions are available to
guests that are all designed to bring down the per–day admissions cost for visitors, while simultaneously ensuring a longer stay for guests. A longer
stay is a win–win situation because it means more money spent overall at theme parks, restaurants, hotels, and gift shops.
SeaWorld has still struggled to bounce back after the loss of visitors from its killer whale controversy, and the boom of expansions with its
competitors. "SeaWorld has very price–sensitive customers. Disney 's customers are less price–sensitive", said Robert Niles, editor of
ThemeParkInsider.com (Pedicini, 2016). SeaWorld said it moved away from discounting too

Inclusion and Campus Involvement (CICI). Working this semester for CICI was an eye opening experience. For over four months, I was able to
abide by CICI's mission statement which consists of the following values; inclusion, courageous leadership, authenticity, and social change. My
endeavors were directed towards the LGBTQ community at Rollins, but I was also able to work with incoming students with Title IX and Buzz to
help the new students understand how to be safe in campus. My professional and personal values remained congruent with the social justice and social
advocacy mission values of CICI, and afforded me the chance to see the ethics of my mental health counseling program in action. Accordingly, my
values stand as self–determination to encourage social justice and social change on behalf of my clients. It behooves me to highlight how meaningful
this value subsists for me since this was one of the central purposes that inspired me to pursue a career in mental health counseling. As a gay man, I
realized that the LGBTQ community needs many advocates for their rights and for society's acceptance, especially for the LGBTQ youth of today.

The City Of Orlando Is Split It Up Into 9 Districts
The City of Orlando is split it up into 9 districts. Indeed, each district has its own personality and offers different events throughout the year. The
manager of each district is in charge of these activities and their primary goal is to always drive customers and tourists into their districts. For example,
the Small Business Saturday is an event that is held, each year, the day after Black Friday and the main goal of each district is to get business to their
stores and to celebrate with the community. For these small businesses, this time of the year is extremely important and many of them rely on the
holiday season to accomplish their annual sales. (Orlando Sentinel, 2015).
This year is not different, the Mills50 district is going to hold the Small Business Saturday and it needs a little bit of help to stand out of the rest.
Audubon Park is one of the Orlando Districts and an indirect competitor of Mills 50. This park has done similar activities in the past and last year
for the Small Business Saturday event they did a raffle for cash. The event was successful in getting business to the local stores and this year they are
planning on following along with the Ivanhoe District in their annual Sip and Stroll. According to Fresh Market (2016), the event is scheduled to take
place on November 26th. The Audubon Park district is committed to create a sustainable local economy and they want "to put the area on the path to
becoming an Orlando EcoDistrict." (Audubon Park, 2016).

Business Analysis: Darden Restaurants
Summary

So far, Darden Restaurants has soothed investors through increased non–operating income.
Low operating efficiency, high cost of sales and low sales leverage are the key areas to progress in.
Darden Restaurants Inc. (NYSE:DRI), the largest full–service restaurant company in the world, has been under the heat for quite some time now.
In the past few years, Darden Restaurants has been hit by many issues, including:
1. Low customer levels due to industry–wide demand slump
2. Cash–flow shortages due to less sales and low operating efficiency
3. Debt level higher than the industry average, which magnifies operating results
4. Low sales leverage
5. Pressure to maintain its large dividends and share repurchases. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Although short–term events have given some breathing space to the company, we must not lose sight of the fact that Darden Restaurants has
consistently failed to churn out the needed cash–flow from operations. Increases in income through non–operating sources, or even higher sales, can
provide shielding effects to company's stock price in the short term, but it is no panacea for the real ills of Darden

Informative Speech : Attention Getter For The Walt Disney...

Organization: Topical
Specific Purpose: To show that Walt Disney World is a family

I.Introduction
A.Attention Getter: As Walt Disney once stated, "To all who come to this happy place, Welcome. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and
here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Hoping that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to the entire world (IMDb, n.d.)."

E.Initial Preview: We will learn how Disneyworld was created, and how it became such a universal phenomenon through annual events and their most

II.Body
Before we can discuss how Walt Disneyworld became a household name, we need to understand how it was developed.
A.First of all, Disneyworld begun with Disneyland in California. However, Walt Disney started developing Walt Disney World to give the Eastern side
of the United States the same joy as he did in California.
1)As stated from Palm Beach Post, in 1964 Walt Disney quietly bought 27,000 acres of the Central Florida swampland for "The Florida Project,"
known today as Disneyworld. (Frias, 2011)
2)The heart of Disneyworld was designed to be named "Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow." According to "History of Disney World" from
lovetoknow.com, the park built its own energy plants, food centers, laundry, and their own airstrip to become the "self–sufficient and self–governed
world" envisioned by Walt Disney. (Santiago, n.d.).
3)Sadly Walt Disney was not present for the opening of Walt Disneyworld Florida, due to his death from lung cancer. However, his brother Roy
carried out "The Florida Project" naming the park Walt Disney World in honor of his brother. On October 1st of

It was the evening after Halloween in 2016, nervous, tired and excited. My team as well as other cheer teams gathered up in small groups dancing
around in circles. As soon as the music stops, we all knew that it's the time we all had been waiting for, the awards ceremony. This ceremony tells us
if we go to Wescon (regionals) or not, and if we do go to Wescon there is a chance we can go toWalt Disney World for Nationals. Everyone was so
nervous, but once the announcer called our division we all knew it was time. We were all squeezing each others hands as they called second place.
It wasn't us. Once the announcer said, "and for first place..." we all went silent as this moment could make or break us. " The Huntington Beach

the competition which was held in Phoenix, Arizona. All of us were nervous, but we all got motivated by listening to upbeat music as we got ready.
On our way to the convention center we became more and more anxious because we won't know what was going to happen, all we had to do is just
smile and do our best. As we arrived at the convention center we went to go watch the other cheer teams perform, and let's just say that they were
amazing. Which made us even more fearful to go and perform. An hour later we go backstage to check in and warm up our routine. As we were

Cockerell grew up an Oklahoma farm boy and although his educational background did not match his success, he did achieve success by starting at

the people you lead." The final strategy in Creating Magic, Develop Character, Cockerell urges employers to develop their team's character. The
development of character, of the total person, is the culmination of all of Cockerell's leadership skills.

Today 's art and the path to careers were all changed by a single man. Because Walter Disney created the first anthropomorphic characters, taught
people to keep on moving forward, and to follow your dreams, he was a great leader to change the world of art and to improve the world of dreams.
Walter Disney created the first anthropomorphic characters, which changed the art to what we know today. He did that by making the new generation

You will also get more courageous by doing the 'impossible '. Because he did not allow what people have said get in his way, he taught us a very
valuable lesson to keep on moving forward.
One of his favorite sayings was "keep on keeping on"(leadership). Even after being bullied and put down, he did not give up which led to
continuous Disney Cartoons and Disney Land also Disney World. "All our dreams will come true, if we have the courage to pursue them". Which
means do not be afraid to prove others wrong to get what you truly want. If the world does that we can change the future ourselves. By changing the
world he means improve the world. He also says "Don 't be afraid to be yourself." As of what was just seen, Walter Disney played a major role in the
worlds past. Another way he changed the world to show others to follow their dreams is Disney Land.
Disney Land was built on 1313 Disneyland Drive, Anaheim, CA 92802 for families to explore, meet characters, and take rides. Disney Land was a

This is great example of Internal Environment change. In the Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education lesson in internal environment change is
change that is driven by what happens in the internal environment with in the organization (BCEE, 2017a, p. 17). This reflects how Walt Disney was
an inspirational leader, inspiring others even after his death. Walt Disney did not just use his words and vision to bring people together, he used his
ethical behavior and animation to guide us.
Ethical Leader Walt Disney was an ethical leader because he used his ethical behavior to do what was right for the good of the people. According to
the Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education, ethical behavior is acting responsibly in a difficult situation with quality character and
judgement (BCEE, 2017c, p. 3). After the kidnapping and murder of a six year old girl the FBI approached Walt Disney and collaborated with him to

animated films, each targeting different age groups to provide a means to educate children on predators (Vault.FBI.org, 1961, p.1). This directly
reflects his ethical behavior to act responsibly with positive quality character, when his company's reputation could have taken a hit if the films were

  • 2. Persuasive Essay On Watch For Children For most parents it is easy to make the common mistake of not providing enough attention to their kids, especially in large places such as Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Kids are easily distracted and in matter of seconds they will run off their parent's sight which is where it is possible for the kids to end up lost. I believe kids as well as parent should take more responsibility when it comes to family trips, therefore parents should stress more to their children about the dangers of populated locations. When I was a kid I had a terrible experience at Disney world. When I was about eight years old my family took me to Disney World which is where I was lost and I was scared for over half the day. I had no clue that going to that trip would turn out to be my worst nightmare. As a result, it is important to be in watch for children and parents should be extra careful when it comes to keeping an eye out for their kids. For kids, being lost in Disney World can be frightening, or life threatening therefore, it is vital for parents to always be on watch for their children. On the way over to Orlando, Florida where Disney world is located, I could almost count the minutes to be there. I was impatient to be there already. As a child, me and my close friends would get together and watch cartoons right after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. From that point on I developed an enthusiasm for some Disney characters and hoped to one–day visit Disney World and live the full ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. Memories Of My Life My childhood is full of many fond memories. When I think back to some of the earliest times, I can only remember tiny sparks and flickers of certain moments. However, at a certain age, I began to more vividly remember events in my life. The first family vacation I can fully recall was a trip my family took to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. When I found out about the trip it was Christmas morning. My brother and I each got an envelope, which encased tickets to Disney World. I was ecstatic to go to Disney World because it was a childhood dream come true for me! When the day of the trip arrived, we stuffed all of our luggage into the back of our minivan and began our trip to the airport in Charlottesville, Virginia. We waited three long hours for our flight to leave Charlotteville, but we finally got onto the plane. I had a feeling of butterflies in my stomach as I waited for the plane to take off. I sat next to my dad, and he held my hand to take away the nerves. From above the clouds, everything looked miniature, and I remember feeling like a giant. We flew from Charlottesville, Virginia to Charlotte, North Carolina. At the airport in Charlotte, our flight to Orlando was delayed. We waited an eternity, and I wasn't surprised to find that it was dark outside when we boarded our plane. We flew through a small city in Georgia, and all of the lights resembled a cluster of glowing stars. We reached Orlando, Florida around 12:30 AM, and our journey to the Swan and Dolphin ... • 5. Descriptive Vacation Everyone can imagine their own perfect getaway. My vacation to Orlando became the magnum opus summer trip. Before, most of my vacations with my family consisted of locations in Oklahoma and Texas. However, Orlando provided serendipitous moments of my life. The vacation all started on August 22, 2016, with my family driving all the way to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. The airport greeted us with its huge, orange, and gray structure, as it swarmed with numerous people and their luggage. After waiting for our tickets, we arrived at our scheduled plane. The plane contained a Spirit logo with yellow, black, and white colors. After ten minutes of settling down, our massive flight took towards the luminous sky. Throughout the journey, the sky glowed like a large, orange lantern. I became amazed at the sky's beauty, as the Sun's rays kissed the humongous clouds. Once we landed in Orlando, the city sparkled with its large buildings and palm trees. The weather wrapped me and my family with a warm hug. After renting a car, we drove throughout the International Drive, a popular spot of Orlando, and saw incredible sights: the entrance of Universal Orlando, the entrance of Sea World, and billboards that came to life. After the sights, I felt that Orlando and I would make a beautiful friendship. On August 23, my family and I visited the "Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium." The museum provided unique exhibits including a real–life shrunken head, the Feejee Mermaid, and a tunnel with vertigo illusions of rotating lights. The museum itself resembled a house broken in half during an earthquake. My personal favorite exhibit included a room that provided an optical illusion of it slanting to the right. It contained a pool table that gave a marvelous phenomenon of a ball acting like a boomerang once it collided into one of the holes. "Wow, that's amazing!", exclaimed my sister, Angelica. I felt more intrigued than ever before, as we all departed the museum. On August 24, my family and I visited the "Disney's Animal Kingdom" theme park. The park gave an exotic atmosphere with its green, rainforest trees and bushes. The object that commanded the most attention included a large, human–structured tree known as the ... • 7. Women's Rights For Women In The Russian Revolution Before the times of the revolution, women in Russia had no say about their lives. They were forced to tend to the home their husband provided for them, and many grew up illiterate. The homes they were forced to tend to were full of aggression and constant abuse from their husband or father; male dominance in Russia thrived before the revolution. Women in that time were not emotionally strong enough to take a stand for their equality. The thought of a woman working outside of their home disgusted many men living during that time. The Russian Revolution created a gateway for women to take an active role in a once anti–women's rights society. When the revolution began on March 8, 1917, education in Russia became a new priority (Figes). Women living in poverty prior to the revolution were given no opportunities to become educated. Only women with a wealthy husband gained access to very limited schooling; those who did not marry rich were left with no access to obtain an education (McElvanney). Often times at the age of ten or twelve, girls began working; they were lucky to be exposed to one complete year of education (Frederiksen). A mere 13.1% of the female population in Russia was considered literate prior to the revolution (Frederiksen). The revolution allowed women to take a stand to their right to a proper education. Riots that formed during the revolution paved a pathway for free education to become mandatory for all children. Along with their children, women gained ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 8. Walt Disney 's Opening Day Before Walt Disney World was built, Walt Disney had to secretly purchase the land using fake company names in order to buy it inexpensively. He first had to explore across the United States for the perfect location. He wanted to fulfill his idea: "A family park where parents and children could have fun together." He had already begun when Disneyland opened in 1955. Opening day was successful in numbers: the freeway had a seven mile backup, an estimated 15,000 people were coming, but 28,000 showed up that day (Klein). Purchasing the Land Before there could be any ideas about what the new park would look like, a location had to be determined. Walt Disney searched all across the United States. He needed an area with lots of land; Walt said he would never make the mistake of not purchasing land around the structured park because as soon as Disneyland opened, it was surrounded by tacky stores, restaurants, hotels and gift shops. They were visible from inside the park, which made him very upset (Mongello). One of the first ideas for a location was Niagara Falls, New York. Walt flew to the Falls and met with the mayor to discuss his idea. The plan didn't last very long, and Walt soon moved to another location, Marceline, Missouri. It was where Walt lived until he was nine. He planned on buying a 45–acre farm for the project. It was a special place that meant a lot to him; actually, Main Street in Disneyland was inspired by Marceline. Before the plan was tossed, Walt stayed up ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. Descriptive Vacation Did you ever receive a tremendous impact from a vacation? My vacation to Orlando became the magnum opus summer trip. Before, most of my vacations with my family consisted of locations in Oklahoma and Texas. However, Orlando provided serendipitous moments of my life. The vacation all started on August 22, 2016, with my family driving all the way to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in Texas. The airport greeted us with its huge, orange, and grey structure. The airport swarmed with numerous people and their luggage. After waiting for our tickets, we arrived at our scheduled plane. The plane contained a Spirit logo with strands of colors including yellow, black, and white. After ten minutes of settling down, our massive flight took towards the luminous sky. Throughout the journey, the sky glowed like a large lantern with the sunlight piercing my eyes. I became amazed and excited at the sky's beauty of its orange lights compromising with the large clouds like a community town. Once we landed in Orlando, the city sparkled with its abnormally large buildings and palm trees. The weather wrapped me and my family with a warm hug. After renting a car, we drove throughout the International Drive, a popular spot of Orlando, and saw incredible sights: the entrance of Universal Orlando, the entrance of Sea World, and billboards that came to life. After the sights, I felt that I and Orlando will make a beautiful friendship. On August 23, my family and I visited the "Ripley's Believe It or ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 13. Descriptive Essay About Disney World Have you ever gone to Disney World? Well I have and it was so much fun! There are different themed areas inside of the park like, Fantasyland,, Tomorrowland, and Main Street to name a few. Each area is like walking into a whole different place. One second you're in Fantasy Land and the next you are in Tomorrowland. The first thing that you see when you walk into the actual park is Magic kingdom. Magic kingdom feels truly magical. There is a giant castle, Cinderellas castle, where you can have a royal feast with all the princesses and look over the park during the day or night. My family had a late reservation, and we would walk out and see the entire park light up without one single person. On our 3rd day my mom dragged me onto the Everest ride, one I was dreading. Everest is a big mountain with a fun scene and the most popular ride not including space mountain, but we will get to that later. Mount Everest was so fun in the beginning i tried to back out but once we got close my mom told me that i had to ride time ride the ride because she knew i would love it, i was just too scared.(the ride is huge and looks really scary, so you can't blame me) The ride went up into a cave and the saw a monkey trying to grab you because it looked like the track were broken, so he was taking on his food i guess. At the first moment you think that you are going to go backward down the giant hill you see when you pass it, but the secretly change paths and then you go down the giant hill ... • 16. Why Is Disney World A Dream Come True Disney World is known as the place "Where Dreams Come True" because of the princesses and fantasy characters created by Walt Disney. Disney World is really a fun, amazing place to visit and is truly a magical place. Disney World Resort was first envisioned by Walt Disney in the early 1960's. Walt wanted to make a place that would give people a chance to experience unique entertainment. This place was called Disneyland and was located in California. Almost three years later, the Disney planning team decided to make Disney World inOrlando,Florida because of the year round summers and it was ranked first in tourist attraction. Construction started in April 1969 and planned to finish on October 1, 1971. Nine thousand workers worked on Disney World for the two years it was in construction. Finally on the special day Disney World was opened with around 10,000 people there to celebrate. Today Disney World consists of four different kingdoms and lives up to its' expectations of making dreams come true. Transportation between kingdoms and to Disney World is very efficient. Buses, trams, ferries, and a monorail are provided for people. You also don't have to wait very long for transportation at the stations. A downside to transportation is, since Disney World has people from all over the world, it can be very crowded in the stations. For example, in the monorail there are limited seats and you are most likely going to have to stand. One drawback of this magical adventure is ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Though so many people know about this central Florida destination, very few know just exactly how it came about. In his book, Project Future, Chad Denver Emerson describes in detail the process Disney and his team went through in order to make his dream a reality. From finding the location for the project to finalizing legislations, Emerson recalls the efforts put in by so many and the difficulties they faced while doing so. Through this book, we see just how state and local government were put into use during the development of Project Future. With the huge success of Disneyland, Walt Disney became interested in working on another project on the East Coast. He had received many letters inquiring a Disney expansion in their state or city, but the majority received a response from Disney stating that he was not interested. Although, there were rare occasions when Walt's interest did pique, particularly in Niagara, New Jersey, and St. Louis, but nothing more than a few meetings and visits came out of this. Regardless of how old someone is, they can still face experiences that could one day shape them as a person. I, personally, have participated in an event that has completely impacted my life to this day, and has helped me discover my future goals in life. This event has made me want to change the world and I believe has made me a better person. In the summer of 2011, I was given what I believed was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Since I was a young girl, I only ever wanted to be around animals, and I dreamt that one day I would be able to be an "animal doctor", as I once called it. I would be able to work with animals both large and small and be a part of the park's conservational efforts. Once I was there, the opportunity felt even more like a dream. I and other campers participated in activities like sleeping beside beluga whales, swimming with sharks, and meeting one of the veterinarians at the park. Everything was perfect, it seemed, until the events at the park began to become a bit 'emotional' so to speak. Despite the efforts of notable city planners such as Sir Ebenezer Howard, Peter Calthorpe and Andres Duany the potential of true sustainable development has not been realized by the majority of urban cities. The inevitable question asserts how cities can continue growth and development while corroborating the triple bottom line as a framework for virtually every city. Education At the foundation of every issue in the broad scope of sustainability is a fundamental lack of proper environmental education as an individual, which ultimately permeates into all of society. The education referred to here is not simply the standardized tests, memorizing and essays of the modern day classroom but the education, which takes place at home. As children, there is a universal myth that has been passed down since the golden age of the industrial revolution. This idea of the American dream informs virtually every decision Americans make and how society is structured. Simply put: "Get an education, get a Job, have children, acquire wealth, capital and leave a legacy before you die." The fundamental problem with this is that there is no mention of our most basic responsibility, as environmental stewards. In short this anthropocentric paradigm acts a rearguard for sustainable development and begins as early as the conception of language in a child's life. Over the course of the next 15 years there are very simple yet, crucial strategies that must be in place to amend not the foundational goals of America or the American dream but rather, the means of achieving it. In 2016, they saw roughly 47.3 million visitors walk through their gates. They compete directly with Walt Disney World Resorts which is just down the street, in terms of theme parks. In the beginning, they sought to be an additional theme park in an industry relatively controlled by one party "Disney." As they continued to grow they saw other areas to invest in and competed in every facet of a vacation destination. One of Universal's major competitive advantages comes from their ability to license characters, themes and stories from major movie productions due to their parent company "Comcast" owning the movie producing goliath "Universal Pictures." This allows them to add new feature rides such as Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, Fast and Furious Supercharged and Jimmy Fallon's Race through New York. Additionally, NBC Universal acquired distribution rights to Illumination and DreamWorks animation companies allowing them to add rides and sell merchandise that featured movies such as Minions, Shrek and Secret Life of Pets. The quote said, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." –By Gandhi. That has always been my favorite quote. May 1 of 2006 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, I was the second child born of my parents Shanna and Richard Payne. They named me Allison. My name means bold, independent, and happy I am. When I was exactly 9 months old, I said my first word: "Mama." My mom was very proud of me. It was very important to her that my first word was her name. I called her Mama until I was either three or four. I started using "Mommy" from when I was 5 to this day still sometimes. My second word was "Daddy." I'm not positive when I first said that, but to this day, I still call him Daddy sometimes. I have always loved words. I like big words, small words, any words! I don't know why I love them. I was eleven months and three weeks old when I took my first steps. Again, my mom was so proud of me! I walked straight to her, and when I got to her, I fell into her arms. When I learned to walk, I never sat still. I was always moving, walking, running, or jumping! I have always been a person who can sit still if I need to, but I would rather be doing something active or productive. I moved from Paragould, Arkansas to Mt. Walt Disney World and Disneyland recently introduced variable pricing in 2016 so that park tickets will cost more during holidays and peak period weekends. This only applies to one–day tickets, and not multi–day packages. Disney's major competitor, Comcast's Universal Studios, has also adopted demand–based pricing. One difference though, is that their system provides incentives for visiting on off–peak days, and/or booking tickets online in advance. Guests can get $5 to $20 off the walk–up price, with the bigger discounts saved for midweek, low–demand periods. A variety of other discounts, packages, and promotions are available to guests that are all designed to bring down the per–day admissions cost for visitors, while simultaneously ensuring a longer stay for guests. In the past few years, Darden Restaurants has been hit by many issues, including: 1. Low customer levels due to industry–wide demand slump 2. Cash–flow shortages due to less sales and low operating efficiency 3. Debt level higher than the industry average, which magnifies operating results 4. Low sales leverage 5. Pressure to maintain its large dividends and share repurchases. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Although short–term events have given some breathing space to the company, we must not lose sight of the fact that Darden Restaurants has consistently failed to churn out the needed cash–flow from operations. Increases in income through non–operating sources, or even higher sales, can provide shielding effects to company's stock price in the short term, but it is no panacea for the real ills of Darden ... • 36. Descriptive Speech It was the evening after Halloween in 2016, nervous, tired and excited. My team as well as other cheer teams gathered up in small groups dancing around in circles. As soon as the music stops, we all knew that it's the time we all had been waiting for, the awards ceremony. This ceremony tells us if we go to Wescon (regionals) or not, and if we do go to Wescon there is a chance we can go toWalt Disney World for Nationals. Everyone was so nervous, but once the announcer called our division we all knew it was time. We were all squeezing each others hands as they called second place. It wasn't us. Once the announcer said, "and for first place..." we all went silent as this moment could make or break us. " The Huntington Beach Chargers" the announcer yelled. We started screaming as two of my teammates got the trophy. We were excited. A few weeks later, was the day of the competition which was held in Phoenix, Arizona. All of us were nervous, but we all got motivated by listening to upbeat music as we got ready. On our way to the convention center we became more and more anxious because we won't know what was going to happen, all we had to do is just smile and do our best. As we arrived at the convention center we went to go watch the other cheer teams perform, and let's just say that they were amazing. Which made us even more fearful to go and perform. An hour later we go backstage to check in and warm up our routine. As we were stretching I thought to myself, " I can't ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Lee Cockerell grew up an Oklahoma farm boy and although his educational background did not match his success, he did achieve success by starting at the bottom and working his way up. As leaders we need to keep our standards high, and be professional and humble in all matters. Cockerell states, "You have to protect your reputation because it's the only one you have. The final strategy in Creating Magic, Develop Character, Cockerell urges employers to develop their team's character. The development of character, of the total person, is the culmination of all of Cockerell's leadership skills. I enjoyed reading Creating Magic and felt that Lee Cockerell's ten leadership strategies were very insightful. Leaders come in all shapes, colors, ages, sizes, and positions in the workplace. Cockerell shares numerous tools and techniques throughout the book that easily lend themselves to being an educational leader. The air smelled fresh. I also smelled some food somewhere... It was crowded! First, we rode a Hulk rollercoaster. It was crazy! We did flips and we went fast and slow.
