It then explores some of the differences that exist between these varieties in terms of pronunciation, vocabulary, expressions, and spellings. Examples are provided to illustrate differences in words like "schedule" and "director" in pronunciation, and words like "brinjal", "lady fingers", and "bus stand" in vocabulary between Indian, British, and American English. Differences in common expressions and spellings are also examined between varieties.
