Job Description:
Perform preventive maintenance program, repair, troubleshooting of chiller air conditioning unit (air
cooled)including pump motor, and cooling tower. In preventive maintenance; general cleaning of
condenser coil, I used high pressure washer to clean the coil by spray of water into coil until it clean this is
done every three (3) months, adjustable wrenches and screw driver to dismantle panel and connect hose to
pressure washer and also replace the bearing of noisy fan motor and pump motor by using puller and
wrenches and replace by a new one. Leak repair: I used nitrogen gas to increase the system pressure by
using gauge manifold and find leak by using soap bubbles, if I find the leak, mark it and release the
pressure .Welding the leak by using oxy-acetylene welding and silver rod and leak test again to make sure
the leak is eliminated. If there is no sign of leak, release the pressure and vacuum the system by using
vacuum pump and gauge manifold. Connect the center hose (yellow color) of gauge manifold to the vacuum
pump, low side of gauge to the suction line(blue color) and high side of gauge(red color) to the liquid line or
high side of the unit. Start vacuuming of the system and charge refrigerant to the system by using weighing
scale to prevent over charging and start-up the unit. To start the unit, make sure that chilled water pump and
condenser motor are running. Record all data and parameters for future references. Trouble shooting of
chiller (air con unit) by using multi-tester and clamp-on meter and replace worn-out and damage parts.

pipe support in all piping and pipe cover for all expose pipe and wire. Leak test the system using nitrogen
gas and used leak detector to find leak. Prepare vacuum pump and vacuum the system, if the pressure will

3. not drop, make sure to release the pressure before vacuuming of the system. After finished the vacuum,
release the pressure by opening the valve in condensing unit and start-up the unit.

Job Description:
Servicing of Air con units includes cleaning of condenser and evaporator coil, charging of
refrigerant (R-11, R-12, R22, R-134a) in the system;
1.Repair of leak in the system by brazing and system reprocessing. Work included flashing of the system,
vacuuming, charging of refrigerant and start-up;
2. Repair of air conditioning equipment as per job order or instruction by the service engineer or supervisor

a. Overhauling of reciprocating compressor; replaced piston, piston ring, connecting rod, crankshaft,

Replace compressor by using oxy-acetylene for solder type connection and wrenches for plunge
type connection.
b. Replace filter drier and drier core;
c. Replace magnetic contactor, overload relay low and high pressure switches thermostat, oil pressure
differential switches pressure transducers and water sensors.
3.Execution of preventive maintenance program as per contract agreement such as:
d. Calibration of pressure transducer adjust the water flow if out range (at least 10 psid or as per
required design); check the condition of magnetic contractor contacts;
e. Check the oil level in sight glass if it is normal level and check the oil temperature; and
f. Check / re-tight all wiring connection in control panel and power panel.
4.Start-up and commissioning of chillers, works includes checking of controls and PC Board calibration of
pressure transducers, checking of sensors, oil pressure differential switches, contractors and relay it
includes also a leak testing of the units, vacuuming of the system, charging of refrigerant and start-up /
commissioning; and
