DCS operator reports to a Shift or Plant Supervisor. Monitor and controls the production process
in the area of responsibilities as per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in
Utilities, Rotary Kiln Calcination, Ball Mill, Lime Slacker, Bulk handling, Conveying system and
Supplying limestone slurry and milk of burnt lime to Pressure Acid Leach Plant.. These positions
involve operating several types of process equipment to safety and efficiently produce burnt
lime as well as the by-product created from the production of nickel and cobalt
General Responsibilities
 Work in a team environment to successfully, safety and efficiently operate equipment

limit that will cause unnecessary stoppage of the unit due to clogging.
 Stop motor drives and other related equipment when an-usual sound is heard, or
whenever signaled by Crusher Transport tender to prevent or minimize damage to
equipment.
 Maintains records of materials crushed, and delivered and received, reports machine and
equipment malfunction to Crusher transport tender.
 Assist section and maintenance personnel during major and minor maintenance on
