Nonprofit Vs. Non-Profit Organization
All organizations big or small, for profit or non–profit have a structure in which dictates how they
function. The evolution of communication with emails, video conferencing, instant messaging, text
messages and social media sites has forever changed how organizations communication is
structured. In a global work environment, organizations are now utilizing people with different
perceptions, backgrounds and work attitudes (Himmer, 2013). Organizational structure guides
coordination and allocation of tasks leading to the organization's goal. An organization structure can
specifically control and instruct how employees behave and what values are accepted by an
organization. In a globalized economy, many organizations redesign their structures to cater towards
the ever–changing work environments. Reshaping an organization structure may mean employee's
roles and responsibilities to align with cultural changes, in efforts to become more efficient and
productive. Pfizer the global pharmaceutical company has discovered that many of their staff hired
to develop strategies and innovate new ideas, were spending 20 to 40 percent of their time on
researching, creating documents, manipulating data and ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Non–profit organizations typically focus on society needs such as feeding the hungry or providing
shelter for the home less. Non–profit organization has no owners and focus on revenue exceeding
operational cost (Green, n.d). Where as a for–profit company has an owner or owners and main goal
is maximize profit for the owners and shareholders. Because TV is a luxury item and no one needs it
to survive, a non–profit would be a poor structure choice. Non–profits survive on the ability to help
society typically. There of course are some exceptions, REI is a non–profit organization owed and

Debenhams Tall Structure
This is a tall hierarchy organisation chart of Debenhams, it shows the various levels of employees.
From the chart we can see the span of control is narrow and the chain of command goes downwards
(vertical) – this means starting from the top management, down to middle level managers and
ending up at lower staff; it shows who is responsible for who/who reports to who.. A tall structure
means lines of communication are longer, so may mean slower response to changes. However it
helps as roles and responsibilities are clearly defined so everyone knows their role, it also allows
close relationships between workers and employees, close supervision and possible for more upward
growth for employees.

Power in role culture is decided by their place in the organisation chart.
"Role Culture" is from the Charles Handy – Models of Organisational Culture. "Organisations with
a role culture are based on rules. They are highly controlled, with everyone knowing their roles and
responsibilities. Power in a role culture is determined by a person's position (role) in the
organisational structure. (tutor2u, 2017)
Debenhams has a Role Culture because we have several different departments and each department
has a manager that is in charge of that respective department. For example: in the HR department
we've got a manager that controls our department and team in HR.
This has a positive impact for goals and achievements to be reached as all employees are aware of
their roles and responsibilities.
Role Culture also has a positive impact on staff as it provides stability, security and continuity,
which then lowers stress levels. If staff feel secure & happy, they may be more loyal to the company
with a higher morale leading to more productivity and low staff

Methods of 3D Image Analysis
Introduction
Since the late 1980s, arguably the most successful method of 3D image analysis has been the
model–based segmentation approach. This approach, in its most mature form, matches 3D image
information to models which describe not only the expected shape and appearance of a structure, but
also statistically–based information about common variations in the structure of interest. In this way,
the natural deviations in organic structures are accounted for in the statistical shape model, or SSM.
This literature review seeks to present the present stake of the field in terms of representing
structures in this way, through a review of the methods of representing bones. Search algorithms
used to locate and align a model to the image data will then be discussed and described. Techniques
and algorithms used to model the appearance of bones will be analysed and commented on,
including the construction from, and correlation of, bones to their models. Case studies will be
mentioned throughout to demonstrate the application of SSMs to image segmentation needs. Finally,
some further applications of these models will be expanded upon.
Representation of Bones
There are a number of methods in which training data for SSMs can be gathered, and all involve
some type of volumetric image set to have been obtained. This is done primarily through the
modalities of computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging, and sometimes both in
conjunction (1). Both binary and fuzzy voxel data can

I was always inspired by the idea of storing large amounts of structured and unstructured data.
Therefore I chose to finish my concentration in Data Management.
I have finished the following courses as my concentration requirement:
ITCS 6162 Knowledge Discovery in databases
ITCS 6160 Database Systems
ITCS 6100 Big data Analytics for Competitive Advantage
The course Big data Analytics for Competitive Advantage has thrown some light about 3V 's
Volume, Variety and Velocity at which the data is growing day by day and how this huge data is
dealt with. From Knowledge discovery in databases, I learnt how useful data can be extracted from a
large pile of unstructured data. In Database systems, I learnt how relational databases ruled for
decades.
In this report I am going to discuss about No SQL databases and the criterion that are to be taken
into consideration when choosing a database that best supports your product. NoSQL databases
enclose a variety of database technologies and was developed in response to rise in volume of data
unlike relational databases which were built to handle structured data [1].

Fastcat Benchmarking Job
Benchmarking jobs was a critical step in developing grades and ranges. Some of the job descriptions
in the survey data did not clearly relate to the jobs in FastCat, which caused us to avoid those
particular survey jobs. Due to these discrepancies among the job descriptions, we decided to
evaluate the descriptions that most clearly matched the FastCat jobs. For example, in the Business
and Marketing pay structure, the Administrative Aide requires very basic qualifications, such as a
high school diploma and competencies in basic skills, such as word processing and simple
administrative tasks. We felt that this most closely identified with the Office Support 1 position
because its description involved simple word processing tasks as well ... Show more content on

We looked at organizations that were similar to ours. Factors that we included are the size of the
organization, the type of work done in the company, their profitability, and their percentage of base
pay to total compensation. We chose organizations that were either small or medium sized that
ideally were software companies. Large companies were also selected, as practically we are still
competing with large companies for similar positions, and the market continues to expand in such a
way that many smaller companies are merging to large–size. We also looked at the profitability of
the organization. FastCat's ROA value is 0.24. We chose to look at organizations that were either of
the same level or higher, up to a value of around 5. Choosing all of these particular factors allowed
us to benchmark against organizations that are likely in a similar financial situation as FastCat,

My Family At The United States
Just like any other immigrants coming to the United States, my family was in search for a better life.
My parents both came from Asia; my dad was from China and my mom was from Japan. Being a
first–generation American, I was considered Nisei. I lived in San Jose California and stayed there
my whole life. My parents were hard working people and showed me what it meant to be truly
American. I was an only child and was twelve years old when the United States was attacked by the
Japanese military. My dad owned a store and my mom helped Japanese people come to America.
She would provide temporary housing. I always remember playing with the kids coming from
Japan, I could never understand them but they were really nice. After a few months they would pick
up a few words. The neighborhood kids loved playing with them as well their parents. Every now
and then my family and other Niseis would experience some forms of discrimination, like waiting in
lines longer at the movies, stores, and restaurants. Not to mention that all kinds of cultures received
the same treatment. But for some reason the African American group had it a little harder than we
did. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, my parents didn't let me play outside. Our neighbors and close
friends turned on us. They forbidden their children to play with me at home and at school. At the
time I didn't understand it. Also my dad would come home earlier than usual from work. He would
always tell me that he just wanted more father

Northwestern Men's Swimming Organizational Structure
Northwestern Men's Swimming as a Rational Organization
Rational Organizations Theory is an idea that has been motivated by social theorist Max Weber who
explains that traditionally, organizations were structured in a way that favored traditionalism, where
relationships, values, and other political agendas explained the framework for which an organization
was constructed and that over the course of time, this organizational structure will continue to move
towards a more modern platform promoting rational behavior, rational decision making, and a
rational culture. Rational organizations use formal structures to designate people and positions of
authority to specific tasks in order to improve predictability and calculability. Although the
behavioral characteristics of rational organizations are typically demonstrated in academia by
analyzing the structure and delegation of tasks within organizations like financial firms, small
businesses, and professional sports franchises, a space that is often overlooked is ... Show more

It is important to recognize that the bureaucratic structure of Northwestern Men's Swimming is
indicative of its rationality. There are delegated roles designed to allow different departments to
operate within their respective sphere of competences, which theoretically should translate to a
lubricated, rational organization. However, the idea of over–rationalization and the "iron cage" of
rationality is not something that should be overlooked here. Weekly meetings with psychologists,
constant check–ups with trainers, and the lack of an off–season are all things that, when viewed
through the lens of rational decision maker, are things that should better the program in its entirety.
However, there comes a point when the returns to these investments begin to decrease, as over
rationalization may actually become irrational, and inhibit

Hierarchical Issues From The Contextual Investigation Of...
Hierarchical issues are assorted and they can show themselves inside the association in a way that
might be hard to identify. These issues if not identified before, can keep the association from
accomplishing its set objectives and goal. More or less authoritative issues are hierarchical issues
that can obstruct the smooth operation of the association. They go from worker business related
issues to hierarchical auxiliary related issues (Lorenzi and Riley, 2003). As a rule the hidden reason
for these issues inside the association is absence of open stream of data or notwithstanding utilizing
incorrectly hierarchical structure. From the contextual investigation of Engstrom Auto Mirror Plant,
there are a few authoritative issues that are clear and have come about into hierarchical clash. These
issues present themselves nearly in all associations. It is accordingly imperative for the
administration of any association to guarantee they have viable procedures to manage any issue that
may emerge inside the association since inability to address such issues may result to significantly
more issues inside the association. The absolute most regular authoritative issues that present
themselves practically in all associations include:
 Motivational issues
 Leadership issues
 Communication issues
 Management issues
 Misunderstood mission
 Lack of authoritative agreement
 Lack of group union
 Lack of assets
 Misunderstood procedure

Scientific Taylorism And Taylorism 's Theory
Scientific Management– Taylorism and Fordism explained:
Scientific management or Taylorism refers to a school of thought on how organizations should be
run, created in the early 20th century by Frederick Taylor. Taylor created Taylorism in an attempt to
increase and improve efficiency in firms. There were five keys components in his theory:
– There would be a clear division in the tasks between workers and managers
– The use of science to determine the best and most efficient way of doing a job
– The use of science to hire the best qualified person for the job
– Extensively training workers for their specialized job
– Having surveillance on workers in the form of authority or hierarchy
(Huczynski & Buchanan, 468–469)
Taylor believed by following these 5 steps, organizations would be able to wrestle power back from
the workers, and subsequently be able to forge out more efficient and better ways for the firm to
progress. Following Taylor's revolutionary ideas, shortly afterwards Henry Ford incorporated some
of these ideas along with his own to create Fordism, once again in an attempt to improve efficiency.
Fordism concentrated on the idea of mass production, where Ford looked closely at three key
components; analysing jobs, the installation of single purpose machine jobs and the creation of a
mechanized machine line. He believed that by implementing these three, production would increase
even further, improving efficiency further. This was to occur because much

Personal Statement In Structural Engineering
A simple bridge truss was the first structure I ever analyzed. The simple combination of beams that
could hold cars, trains, and trucks over long spans of water fascinated me. Having the tools to
analyze the loads on the truss further increased my interest in structures. I encountered the bridge in
a textbook for my first engineering class.
Knowing that the professor, Mr. Paul Davids, was a tough teacher, I asked him for the textbook so I
could study and get ready for the class over the summer. Just arrived from Belize, I was determined
to succeed. In class we learned about forces on simple members and then we put the members
together to form a simple truss. At this point I had almost decided that structural engineering was the

Research Assignment: Data Structures and "Space Quest"
"Space Quest" is a game about a lone traveller, flying through the cosmos. The journey is not a quite

the role of the traveller, and their aim is to avoid an AI controlled alien ship, destined to crash into
the player. Unfortunately for the player, it isn't exactly over once the first ship has been
outmanoeuvred: there are still other alien spaceships waiting. Luckily for the traveller, the Bounty
Hunter's identity is published throughout the galaxy, so devising a strategy will be easy work. For

The enemy AI needs to make decisions based on where the player is located, and attempt to move
towards the player. This can only be accomplished through a series of 'Yes and No', or 'True and
False', trials. The AI will ask questions such as, "Is the player above me? Is the player below me?"
and so forth, therefore, the tree will need to generate and decide on finding the best path to take to
approach the player. In order to achieve this, a data structure known as a Decision Tree is required.
According to de Ville & Neville (2013), a decision tree can be defined as "a simple, but powerful
form of multiple variable analysis." Decision Trees were first introduced over fifty years ago, and
are still being refined today to provide new functionality for dealing with the newer code–
development related issues we might encounter (de Ville & Neville, 2013). Since decisions trees are
essentially binary trees, they also operate in O(log(n)) time complexities for best and worst case
scenarios, and O(n) for space. Decision trees are generated by algorithms which determine possible
ways to branch–off data depending on the end result of a set question. From this, the aim of the tree
would be to predict the probability of a specific outcome. In terms of Space Quest: where will the
player be next, and how can they be reached? For each node in the implementation, the AI will ask
itself if the defined condition mentioned earlier yielded either a true or false

Data Structure Of Using Hash Table
Overview:
Hashing in terms of encryption is the conversion of a word into a usually fixed–length value or key
that represents the original word. Hashing is used to index and retrieve items in a database because it
is faster to find the item using the shorter hashed key than to find it using the original value. It
basically uses a hash function to convert the word into the key. Hash function is one that is used to
map data of random size to data of fixed size. Values that are returned from a hash function are
called as hash values, hash codes, or hash sums. It mainly uses hash table as a data structure to look
up data rapidly. There will be no two words with same hash value, otherwise collision occurs
between the two words.
In software programming, a hash table or hash map is a data structure that is used to execute an
array i.e. it is a structure that can map keys to values. A hash function is used to determine an index
value for an array of buckets or slots, with which we can find the correct value. A good hash
function with an algorithm are essential for good performance of the hash table though it can be
difficult to achieve. A basic requirement of a hash function is that it should provide distribution of
hash values uniformly. If the distribution is non–uniform, it increases the number of collisions and
the cost of resolving them. Uniformity can be evaluated by observing statistical tests. If for example
there exists uniform distribution only for table sizes that are

only nodes with keys greater than the parent node. BSTs are also dynamic data structures, and the
size of a BST is only limited by the amount of free memory in the operating system. The main
advantage of binary search trees is that it remains ordered, which provides quicker search times than
many other data structures.
Phase 5 Recursion is a function that calls itself. In the function definition there is a call to that very

What Makes A Management Control System?
So, you now can understand the functions of MCS and the purpose of the system, but what about the
characteristics? What makes something a management control system?
As the above showed, MCSs generally describe the design, installation and operation of different
planning and control frameworks within management. But there are two distinct control systems
within the concept. While these are different from each other, they are also interrelated and
sometimes hard to separate from each other. First, the MCS refers to the structure, either
organisational or the relationship of different components, of the different responsibility structures
within the company. It further outlines the performance measures and how the information moves
within and between the different responsibility structures. For example, in a complex and large
organisation, such as a production facility for creating different car parts, the responsibility would be
divided into multiple units. The management would therefore be in charge of different aspects of the
organisation, and there would be a number of sub–units. On the other hand, a small business, like a
family bakery, is unlikely to have many responsibility centres. MCSs core characteristic is the
organising and planning of the relationship between these different structures and centres of
responsibility.
The other core characteristic, on the other hand, is about the processes or set of activities the
organisation takes in order to achieve its

Annotated Bibliography On Linear Data Structure
An introduction to linked list: a Review
Abstract
This paper describes about linear data structure i.e. linked list. Linked list is dynamic in nature
means there is no need to know size of data in advance. It is linear collection of data elements which
may or may not be stored at consecutive memory location. In linked list pointers are used for
providing the linear order and each node is divided into parts for storing data and link part. This
paper provides only overview that how linked list was created and what are its advantages over
another data structure. It also defines how data is stored in linked list. What type of linked list can
be? What basic operations can be performed on singly linked list? .And also tried to define
applications of data structure.
Introduction
Linked list was developed by Cliff Shaw, Allen Newell and Herbert A. Simon at RAND Corporation
in year of 1955–1956. It was firstly used in information processing language for artificial
intelligence. There are many disadvantages of array as compare to linked list. First is array is a static
data structure and size have to define before use for example: int marks [10] here size of array have
fixed of 10 elements. Second array stores only similar type of elements in integer value according to
upper example it will store only integer value and third one is in array insertion and deletion
operation are very difficult for performing that operations huge amount of data have to move
upward and downward

Java Collection Framework Is Used For Representing And...
JAVA COLLECTION FRAMEWORK
INTRODUCTION:
Groups of multiple elements into a single unit are known as a collection is an object. It easily store,
retrieve and manipulating data, it transmit data from one method to another method.
COLLECTION FRAMEWORK:
Unified architecture is used for representing and manipulating collections very easily. There are
three things contains by collection framework and i.e.
Interfaces
Algorithms
Implementations
COLLECTION FRAMEWORK DIAGRAM: INTERFACES:
First we like to define fundamental methods
int size ( ) ;
boolean empty ( ) ;
boolean contains ( Object element ) ;
boolean add ( Object element ) ; / / this step is optional
boolean remove ( Object element ) ; / / this step is optional
iterator iterator ( ) ;
Second I would like to inform you that these methods are the basic behavior of a collection.
The elements in the collection provide an iterator to step.
ITERATOR INTERFACE:
There are three fundamental methods
Object next ( )
Boolean hasNext ( )
Void remove ( )
These methods are use to provide access to the content of the collection.
ITERTOR POSITION: EXAMPLE OF SIMPLE COLLECTION:
Public class SimCol
{
Public static void main ( String [ ] args ) { Collection a; a = new ArrList ( ); System.out.println (
a.hetClass ( ) .getName ( ) ) ; For ( int i=1 ; I <= 10 ; i++ ) { a.add ( I + " * " + I + " = " +i*i); }

Description Of The Reference Voltage Vector
Referring to Fig. 1(ii), consider in region II, the reference voltage vector is following the arc x1x2 at
a particular modulation index m. The position of the reference voltage vector is shown in Table 1. It
shows that, depending on modulation index value, the duration of stay within subsector 1 and
subsector 2 changes. Similarly, consider in region III, the reference voltage vector is following the
arc y1y2 at aparticular modulation index. The position of the reference voltage vector is shown in
Table 1 and it shows that depending on the modulation index value, the duration of stay within
subsector 2,3 and 4 changes.
Table 1: Duration of stay in subsectors
Region Duration of stay in subsectors Angle information
II Subsector 1 0≤θ≤θ_R2 θ_R2= sin^(–1)⁡
((1–√(12m^2–3))/4m) Subsector 2 θ_R2≤θ≤π⁄3–θ_R2
Subsector 1 π⁄3–θ_R2≤θ≤π⁄3
III Subsector 3 0≤θ≤θ_R3 θ_R3= sin^(–1)⁡
((√(12m^2–3)–1)/4m) Subsector 2 θ_R3≤θ≤π⁄3–θ_R3
Subsector 4 π⁄3–θ_R3≤θ≤π⁄3
As the reference voltage vector is formed using discrete switching vectors, the operating voltage
vector does not follow the reference trajectory []. The deviations between applied switching vector
and reference voltage vector results in the ripple in the output current waveform. For any switching
instance, the instanteneous current ripple due to application of ith switching vector (i.e. application
corresponding voltage vector Vi) can be written as (d(ΔI) ⃗)/dt= 1/L⌊□((V_i ) ⃗ )–(V_ref ) ⃗⌋ (1)

Flatrock Case Analysis
Analysis
Culture The overall, desired culture of Flatrock is bottom–line oriented and values cost reduction
and improved production levels. To maintain this culture, bonuses are tied to employee's ability to
produce more while lowering costs.
Structure
Flatrock's functional organizational structure includes two categories: field logistics and category
management. Field logistics deals with daily operations and are therefore more concerned with
short–term tangible results, such as employee satisfaction. Their subculture is emotional and
dictatorial. Rusty Clyne is described as an individual who "[wears] his emotions on his sleeve" and
often imposes punishment. Consequently, the decision–making process is based on emotion, not
logic, which, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Clyne's lack of accountability is exhibited by his fondness of deferring blame onto others. Likewise,
Clyne is passionate about his job, however, this leads to unwarranted drive and therefore emotion–
based decision making. Clyne also has too much courage as seen in his determination to gain inside
information on Tower, such as hiring Bakes, to allow for greater profit sharing. The bottom–line
oriented culture and his misjudgement of equity compound his tenaciousness to increase revenue,
however, his stubbornness, along with his extreme drive, results in Clyne being unable to use proper
judgement. The lack of judgement augments Clyne's inability to appreciate Tower's long–term
benefits, which subsequently widens the gap between field logistics and the desired culture of
Flatrock and makes intergroup coordination more

Descriptive Essay On Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina attracts about 14 million visitors per year because of its warm
weather, beaches, and activities.
During the summer of 2015, my brother, Ryan and I traveled to Fayetteville, North Carolina to visit
my cousin, Julian, aunt, Heather, and uncle, Rich. As they have a condo in Myrtle Beach, Heather
wanted to take us there. Julian was going to go along too, but Rich had to work at his dental office
so he couldn't make it.
After spending about three days in Fayetteville, it was finally time to take the drive to their condo.
On the way there, we first had to stop at the local Starbucks since it is a daily ritual of my aunts.
While sipping our Starbucks we drove through several rundown cities and ended up seeing a large ...

Boardwalk is similar to a fair on the ocean. It has several shops and restaurants along the area's
borders. It also had games and rides. Before shopping we went to a fancy seafood restaurant where
we had lobster, crab legs, salad, bread, and pasta. When we finished with the meal, we began our
adventure along Boardwalk. We stopped in many shops but what caught my eye was a boat in the
center of the Boardwalk doing fast turns and tricks. We found out that people can ride on them, so
naturally, us kids wanted to ride on them. We found the ticket booth, bought our ticket and waited
for our ride.
The ride was full of adrenaline. It actually felt like a rollercoaster and that you were going to be
launched out. Nonetheless, I would do it again.
We returned to our condo to sleep after some shopping, eating, and lots of walking. The next
morning we were to head back to Fayetteville .
Before officially leaving, we stopped to get wings for lunch. Although the wings were good, let's

Performance Based Design For An Integrated Solution
PERFORMANCE BASED DESIGN
The concept of achieving design with some focus on performance is not new, the tools and methods
that changes. To discuss performance for design, it is important to classify and separate its functions
and features. If a building consists of a set of parameters, the design process can be associated to a
balance act, where parameters are weight and arranged to fit the context of a project.
In traditional architectural design, the use of measurable parameters often postponed or take place in
a later phase of the design process. The concept design is rather focused on aesthetics, plan
functionality and experience of spaces, however, this approach limits the success of an integrated
solution.
Today, there is an almost understood association with computational tools along with the measurable
parameters and thresholds. The massive power of computation makes it superlative for repeating
calculations, it could be useful in optimization algorithms for instance, and the target parameters for
the optimization have to be simple enough to be expressed in a computer algorithm. In the
application of structural engineering, these quantifiable and measurable parameters could be mass,
force, moment, deflection or even cost.

Eassy : An Organization On The World
So far, CanGo has figured out how to exceed expectations and set up a solid footing in the online
excitement industry. Truth be told, CanGo has as of late been perceived by the Hudson Valley
Proficient Business Affiliation, asserting the way that CanGo is an organization on the ascent instead
of a little, autonomous start–up without any desires. Shockingly, CanGo has not grasped the idea of
vital arranging, which lays out and decides the heading an organization arrangements to assume
control throughout the following quite a long while. As indicated by John E. Lawlor of Viable
Choices, vital arranging is critical from both a full scale point of view and a miniaturized scale
viewpoint. On a large scale level, for example, business (particularly ecommerce) is led in the
worldwide commercial center. Supported by the Web and fast enhancements in innovation, more
people from everywhere throughout the world have entry to the items and administrations gave by
today 's organizations. From a smaller scale perspective, in the interim, key arranging will infuse a
required feeling of reason and course to CanGo. With key arranging, every person in the association
–from the President to the latest new staff part – will realize what items you offer or administrations
you give, who your objective clients are, and how you plan to go after their consideration (Lawlor,
2005). Vital arranging would likewise obviously characterize an arrangement of sensible transient
and long haul objectives for

An Inverse Of A Relational Model
with range queries and bitmaps.
2.4 Column Store Model
In this model, data is stored in sections of columns instead of rows. This is almost an inverse of a
relational model. The names of the column need not be predefined, i.e. the structure isn 't fixed,
which helps in great scalability and performance. Columns in a row are stored in order according to
their keys. A super–column also might be used which is nothing but a column containing nested
sub–columns.
2.4.1 Cassandra:
Apache Cassandra is open source NoSQL database and it was found in Facebook. Cassandra 's data

there are wide rows. Cassandra consists of keyspaces similar to databases to relational databases and
column family that is similar to tables in relational databases.
Key value store is a concept of storing the data value inside a key and Redis uses this concept. A
particular benefit of key–value stores is their simplicity and It supports such as data structures such
as strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets with range queries and bitmaps. Whereas in Neo4j, the

Pros And Cons Of Data Security
On Piotrowski et alcite{Piotrowski}, the authors present a collaborative data storage (tinyDSM)
middleware that addresses the common problems of store data on wireless sensor networks (WSN)
using data replication on nodes of the network. However, in the proposal, the decision of the node to
assume the role of data replicators is static and uses a random criterion depends only on the number
of nodes and density of the network. It's created some problems if that node disappears from the
network.

One local layer that performs a preprocessing of data and later replicates them to a layer that is
centralized in the cloud. Although the proposed address addresses a relevant problem in the IoT
area, the work does not address the persistence of data at the edge of the network, considering the
dynamic environment of Mist computing.
On Confais et alcite{Confais} the authors evaluate through performance analysis three "off–the–
shelf" object store solutions, namely Rados, Cassandra and InterPlanetary File
System (IPFS) in Fog context environment. However, the used software platforms need devices with
some computation processing power, so it is not applicable for simple devices, often found it in IoT
environment.
A first step to address the data persistence problem in the environment of Fog/Mist computing
(DPPF), it is to model the problem formally. Therefore, given $D$, a data block of size $L$, which
it wants to persist in the environment of Fog/Mist computing. Let's define $F$ as the network
devices located at the edge of the network, and dynamically composed by $n$ active devices at time
stamp $t$, among a total possible of $N_{t}$ devices. Therefore, let's assume that the set $F$ at the
moment $t$ can be represented by a graph $G(V, E)$. Where the set of vertex $V$ are the $n$
active devices at the instant $t$, and $E$ the set of edges formed by the communication link
between them.
In our approach, the devices that are part of $F$ at instant $t$,

The Discovery Of The Network Devices
1. Describe the steps you would take to determine the needs of the organization (the discovery of the
network devices)
As a consultant that was brought in to determine the needs of the organization, the primary starting
point is content discovery. The art of content discovery is to get an understanding of the business, its
network structure, organizational requirements and the resources that are available. Because the
number one rule in all problem solving manifests, is first to know and get an understand the
problem, the problem that you are tasked with or trying to solve.
Therefore, the first element of content discovery is to get an understanding of the organization. Who
is the company, what industry do they operate in, what services or products do they provide, what is
their mission statement, what are their daily operations, are many of the questions that needs to be
answered, often times before the job starts. The second element is to understand the organization
from an internal point of view. It starts with understanding the structure of the organization, getting
a high–level organization chart to help determine the divisional structure of the organization, their
communication methods, the Service Level Agreements that they have in place, and their
geographical profile in order to know whether there are additional sites in other regions. The next
step within the second element is to get the structure and technical level of local and remote IT
divisions, their

Data Partition Properties And Its Structure For Preparing...
Map/Reduce is a structure for preparing parallelizable issues crosswise over gigantic datasets
utilizing a substantial number of PCs (hubs), all things considered alluded to as a group i.e. if all
hubs are on the same local network and use the same hardware) or a framework i.e. if the hubs are
shared crosswise over geologically and authoritatively conveyed systems, and use a more
heterogenous hardware. Handling can happen on data saved either in a file system – unstructured or
in a database – organized. Map/Reduce can exploit domain of data, preparing it on or close to the
storage resources with a specific end goal to reduce the length over which it must be transmitted.
Jiaxing et al. proposes SUDO, an advancement system that reasons about data partition
characteristics, working properties, and data shuffling. They contend that reasoning about data
partition properties crosswise phases opens up chances to reduce extravagant data shuffling. For
instance, in the event that we realize that data partitions from past computation phases as of now
have alluring properties for the following phase, we have the method to stay away from superfluous
data shuffling steps. The fundamental obstruction to reasoning about data partition properties
crosswise over processing phases is the utilization of UDFs [4]. At the point when a UDF is viewed
as a "black–box", which is typically the case, we must expect conservatively that all data partition
characteristics are lost subsequent to applying

Role Of The Frame Table And The Disk Map Data Structures
CH 8
1. In a 5–stage pipelined processor, upon a page fault, what needs to happen in hardware for
instruction re–start?
When there is a page fault during fetching an instruction pipeline must be drained, so that the
instructions which are already executing show be finished first. After this we cater the page fault and
restart instructions.
Otherwise if there is a situation that page fault occur during MEM operation the instructions which
are in other states such as in instruction fetch, instruction decode or execute can be condensed as
they won't be making any changes to the registers. After this we can handle the page fault.
2. Describe the role of the frame table and the disk map data structures in a demand paged memory
manager.
Frame tables are used as a reference as we can get to know that which frames are available and
which are already taken and which process they are allocated.
Whereas the disk map data structures are used to know about the frames which are being swapped
from the disk and where they can be relocated again.
4. Describe the interaction between the process scheduler and the memory manager.
Process scheduler and memory manager these 2 ae codes which lie dormant when a user process is

Nonprofit Vs. Non-Profit Organization

  • 1. Nonprofit Vs. Non-Profit Organization All organizations big or small, for profit or non–profit have a structure in which dictates how they function. The evolution of communication with emails, video conferencing, instant messaging, text messages and social media sites has forever changed how organizations communication is structured. In a global work environment, organizations are now utilizing people with different perceptions, backgrounds and work attitudes (Himmer, 2013). Organizational structure guides coordination and allocation of tasks leading to the organization's goal. An organization structure can specifically control and instruct how employees behave and what values are accepted by an organization. In a globalized economy, many organizations redesign their structures to cater towards the ever–changing work environments. Reshaping an organization structure may mean employee's roles and responsibilities to align with cultural changes, in efforts to become more efficient and productive. Pfizer the global pharmaceutical company has discovered that many of their staff hired to develop strategies and innovate new ideas, were spending 20 to 40 percent of their time on researching, creating documents, manipulating data and ... Where as a for–profit company has an owner or owners and main goal is maximize profit for the owners and shareholders. Because TV is a luxury item and no one needs it to survive, a non–profit would be a poor structure choice. Non–profits survive on the ability to help society typically. • 5. Debenhams Tall Structure This is a tall hierarchy organisation chart of Debenhams, it shows the various levels of employees. From the chart we can see the span of control is narrow and the chain of command goes downwards (vertical) – this means starting from the top management, down to middle level managers and ending up at lower staff; it shows who is responsible for who/who reports to who.. A tall structure means lines of communication are longer, so may mean slower response to changes. However it helps as roles and responsibilities are clearly defined so everyone knows their role, it also allows close relationships between workers and employees, close supervision and possible for more upward growth for employees. The Economic Recession (2007–2008) meant people ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Power in role culture is decided by their place in the organisation chart. "Role Culture" is from the Charles Handy – Models of Organisational Culture. "Organisations with a role culture are based on rules. They are highly controlled, with everyone knowing their roles and responsibilities. Power in a role culture is determined by a person's position (role) in the organisational structure. (tutor2u, 2017) Debenhams has a Role Culture because we have several different departments and each department has a manager that is in charge of that respective department. For example: in the HR department we've got a manager that controls our department and team in HR. This has a positive impact for goals and achievements to be reached as all employees are aware of their roles and responsibilities. Role Culture also has a positive impact on staff as it provides stability, security and continuity, which then lowers stress levels. • 7. Methods of 3D Image Analysis Introduction Since the late 1980s, arguably the most successful method of 3D image analysis has been the model–based segmentation approach. This approach, in its most mature form, matches 3D image information to models which describe not only the expected shape and appearance of a structure, but also statistically–based information about common variations in the structure of interest. In this way, the natural deviations in organic structures are accounted for in the statistical shape model, or SSM. This literature review seeks to present the present stake of the field in terms of representing structures in this way, through a review of the methods of representing bones. Search algorithms used to locate and align a model to the image data will then be discussed and described. Techniques and algorithms used to model the appearance of bones will be analysed and commented on, including the construction from, and correlation of, bones to their models. Case studies will be mentioned throughout to demonstrate the application of SSMs to image segmentation needs. Finally, some further applications of these models will be expanded upon. Representation of Bones There are a number of methods in which training data for SSMs can be gathered, and all involve some type of volumetric image set to have been obtained. This is done primarily through the modalities of computed tomography or magnetic resonance imaging, and sometimes both in conjunction (1). Both binary and fuzzy voxel data can ... Some of the job descriptions in the survey data did not clearly relate to the jobs in FastCat, which caused us to avoid those particular survey jobs. Due to these discrepancies among the job descriptions, we decided to evaluate the descriptions that most clearly matched the FastCat jobs. For example, in the Business and Marketing pay structure, the Administrative Aide requires very basic qualifications, such as a high school diploma and competencies in basic skills, such as word processing and simple administrative tasks. We felt that this most closely identified with the Office Support 1 position because its description involved simple word processing tasks as well ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Factors that we included are the size of the organization, the type of work done in the company, their profitability, and their percentage of base pay to total compensation. We chose organizations that were either small or medium sized that ideally were software companies. Large companies were also selected, as practically we are still competing with large companies for similar positions, and the market continues to expand in such a way that many smaller companies are merging to large–size. We also looked at the profitability of the organization. FastCat's ROA value is 0.24. We chose to look at organizations that were either of the same level or higher, up to a value of around 5. Choosing all of these particular factors allowed us to benchmark against organizations that are likely in a similar financial situation as FastCat, making them appropriate organizations with which to ... • 16. My Family At The United States Just like any other immigrants coming to the United States, my family was in search for a better life. My parents both came from Asia; my dad was from China and my mom was from Japan. Being a first–generation American, I was considered Nisei. I lived in San Jose California and stayed there my whole life. My parents were hard working people and showed me what it meant to be truly American. I was an only child and was twelve years old when the United States was attacked by the Japanese military. My dad owned a store and my mom helped Japanese people come to America. She would provide temporary housing. I always remember playing with the kids coming from Japan, I could never understand them but they were really nice. After a few months they would pick up a few words. The neighborhood kids loved playing with them as well their parents. Every now and then my family and other Niseis would experience some forms of discrimination, like waiting in lines longer at the movies, stores, and restaurants. Not to mention that all kinds of cultures received the same treatment. But for some reason the African American group had it a little harder than we did. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, my parents didn't let me play outside. Our neighbors and close friends turned on us. They forbidden their children to play with me at home and at school. At the time I didn't understand it. Also my dad would come home earlier than usual from work. He would always tell me that he just wanted more father ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 18. Northwestern Men's Swimming Organizational Structure Northwestern Men's Swimming as a Rational Organization Rational Organizations Theory is an idea that has been motivated by social theorist Max Weber who explains that traditionally, organizations were structured in a way that favored traditionalism, where relationships, values, and other political agendas explained the framework for which an organization was constructed and that over the course of time, this organizational structure will continue to move towards a more modern platform promoting rational behavior, rational decision making, and a rational culture. Rational organizations use formal structures to designate people and positions of authority to specific tasks in order to improve predictability and calculability. Although the behavioral characteristics of rational organizations are typically demonstrated in academia by analyzing the structure and delegation of tasks within organizations like financial firms, small businesses, and professional sports franchises, a space that is often overlooked is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It is important to recognize that the bureaucratic structure of Northwestern Men's Swimming is indicative of its rationality. There are delegated roles designed to allow different departments to operate within their respective sphere of competences, which theoretically should translate to a lubricated, rational organization. However, the idea of over–rationalization and the "iron cage" of rationality is not something that should be overlooked here. Weekly meetings with psychologists, constant check–ups with trainers, and the lack of an off–season are all things that, when viewed through the lens of rational decision maker, are things that should better the program in its entirety. However, there comes a point when the returns to these investments begin to decrease, as over rationalization may actually become irrational, and inhibit ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 20. Hierarchical Issues From The Contextual Investigation Of... Hierarchical issues are assorted and they can show themselves inside the association in a way that might be hard to identify. These issues if not identified before, can keep the association from accomplishing its set objectives and goal. More or less authoritative issues are hierarchical issues that can obstruct the smooth operation of the association. They go from worker business related issues to hierarchical auxiliary related issues (Lorenzi and Riley, 2003). As a rule the hidden reason for these issues inside the association is absence of open stream of data or notwithstanding utilizing incorrectly hierarchical structure. From the contextual investigation of Engstrom Auto Mirror Plant, there are a few authoritative issues that are clear and have come about into hierarchical clash. These issues present themselves nearly in all associations. It is accordingly imperative for the administration of any association to guarantee they have viable procedures to manage any issue that may emerge inside the association since inability to address such issues may result to significantly more issues inside the association. The absolute most regular authoritative issues that present themselves practically in all associations include:  Motivational issues  Leadership issues  Communication issues  Management issues  Misunderstood mission  Lack of authoritative agreement  Lack of group union  Lack of assets  Misunderstood procedure At whatever point such issues show ... • 24. Scientific Taylorism And Taylorism 's Theory Scientific Management– Taylorism and Fordism explained: Scientific management or Taylorism refers to a school of thought on how organizations should be run, created in the early 20th century by Frederick Taylor. Taylor created Taylorism in an attempt to increase and improve efficiency in firms. There were five keys components in his theory: – There would be a clear division in the tasks between workers and managers – The use of science to determine the best and most efficient way of doing a job – The use of science to hire the best qualified person for the job – Extensively training workers for their specialized job – Having surveillance on workers in the form of authority or hierarchy (Huczynski & Buchanan, 468–469) Taylor believed by following these 5 steps, organizations would be able to wrestle power back from the workers, and subsequently be able to forge out more efficient and better ways for the firm to progress. Following Taylor's revolutionary ideas, shortly afterwards Henry Ford incorporated some of these ideas along with his own to create Fordism, once again in an attempt to improve efficiency. Fordism concentrated on the idea of mass production, where Ford looked closely at three key components; analysing jobs, the installation of single purpose machine jobs and the creation of a mechanized machine line. He believed that by implementing these three, production would increase even further, improving efficiency further. This was to occur because much ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The simple combination of beams that could hold cars, trains, and trucks over long spans of water fascinated me. Having the tools to analyze the loads on the truss further increased my interest in structures. I encountered the bridge in a textbook for my first engineering class. Knowing that the professor, Mr. Paul Davids, was a tough teacher, I asked him for the textbook so I could study and get ready for the class over the summer. Just arrived from Belize, I was determined to succeed. In class we learned about forces on simple members and then we put the members together to form a simple truss. The journey is not a quite one, however, as there are alien Bounty Hunters trying to take down the traveller. The player takes the role of the traveller, and their aim is to avoid an AI controlled alien ship, destined to crash into the player. Unfortunately for the player, it isn't exactly over once the first ship has been outmanoeuvred: there are still other alien spaceships waiting. Luckily for the traveller, the Bounty Hunter's identity is published throughout the galaxy, so devising a strategy will be easy work. The enemy AI needs to make decisions based on where the player is located, and attempt to move towards the player. This can only be accomplished through a series of 'Yes and No', or 'True and False', trials. The AI will ask questions such as, "Is the player above me? Is the player below me?" and so forth, therefore, the tree will need to generate and decide on finding the best path to take to approach the player. In order to achieve this, a data structure known as a Decision Tree is required. According to de Ville & Neville (2013), a decision tree can be defined as "a simple, but powerful form of multiple variable analysis." Decision Trees were first introduced over fifty years ago, and are still being refined today to provide new functionality for dealing with the newer code– development related issues we might encounter (de Ville & Neville, 2013). Since decisions trees are essentially binary trees, they also operate in O(log(n)) time complexities for best and worst case scenarios, and O(n) for space. Decision trees are generated by algorithms which determine possible ways to branch–off data depending on the end result of a set question. From this, the aim of the tree would be to predict the probability of a specific outcome. In terms of Space Quest: where will the player be next, and how can they be reached? For each node in the implementation, the AI will ask itself if the defined condition mentioned earlier yielded either a true or false ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 39. Data Structure Of Using Hash Table Overview: Hashing in terms of encryption is the conversion of a word into a usually fixed–length value or key that represents the original word. Hashing is used to index and retrieve items in a database because it is faster to find the item using the shorter hashed key than to find it using the original value. It basically uses a hash function to convert the word into the key. Hash function is one that is used to map data of random size to data of fixed size. Values that are returned from a hash function are called as hash values, hash codes, or hash sums. It mainly uses hash table as a data structure to look up data rapidly. There will be no two words with same hash value, otherwise collision occurs between the two words. In software programming, a hash table or hash map is a data structure that is used to execute an array i.e. it is a structure that can map keys to values. A hash function is used to determine an index value for an array of buckets or slots, with which we can find the correct value. A good hash function with an algorithm are essential for good performance of the hash table though it can be difficult to achieve. A basic requirement of a hash function is that it should provide distribution of hash values uniformly. If the distribution is non–uniform, it increases the number of collisions and the cost of resolving them. Uniformity can be evaluated by observing statistical tests. If for example there exists uniform distribution only for table sizes that are ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

What makes something a management control system? As the above showed, MCSs generally describe the design, installation and operation of different planning and control frameworks within management. But there are two distinct control systems within the concept. While these are different from each other, they are also interrelated and sometimes hard to separate from each other. First, the MCS refers to the structure, either organisational or the relationship of different components, of the different responsibility structures within the company. It further outlines the performance measures and how the information moves within and between the different responsibility structures. For example, in a complex and large organisation, such as a production facility for creating different car parts, the responsibility would be divided into multiple units. The management would therefore be in charge of different aspects of the organisation, and there would be a number of sub–units. On the other hand, a small business, like a family bakery, is unlikely to have many responsibility centres. MCSs core characteristic is the organising and planning of the relationship between these different structures and centres of responsibility. The other core characteristic, on the other hand, is about the processes or set of activities the organisation takes in order to achieve its ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Linked list is dynamic in nature means there is no need to know size of data in advance. It is linear collection of data elements which may or may not be stored at consecutive memory location. In linked list pointers are used for providing the linear order and each node is divided into parts for storing data and link part. This paper provides only overview that how linked list was created and what are its advantages over another data structure. It also defines how data is stored in linked list. What type of linked list can be? What basic operations can be performed on singly linked list? .And also tried to define applications of data structure. Introduction Linked list was developed by Cliff Shaw, Allen Newell and Herbert A. Simon at RAND Corporation in year of 1955–1956. It was firstly used in information processing language for artificial intelligence. There are many disadvantages of array as compare to linked list. First is array is a static data structure and size have to define before use for example: int marks [10] here size of array have fixed of 10 elements. Second array stores only similar type of elements in integer value according to upper example it will store only integer value and third one is in array insertion and deletion operation are very difficult for performing that operations huge amount of data have to move upward and downward ... To discuss performance for design, it is important to classify and separate its functions and features. If a building consists of a set of parameters, the design process can be associated to a balance act, where parameters are weight and arranged to fit the context of a project. In traditional architectural design, the use of measurable parameters often postponed or take place in a later phase of the design process. The concept design is rather focused on aesthetics, plan functionality and experience of spaces, however, this approach limits the success of an integrated solution. Today, there is an almost understood association with computational tools along with the measurable parameters and thresholds. The massive power of computation makes it superlative for repeating calculations, it could be useful in optimization algorithms for instance, and the target parameters for the optimization have to be simple enough to be expressed in a computer algorithm. In the application of structural engineering, these quantifiable and measurable parameters could be mass, force, moment, deflection or even cost. • 72. Pros And Cons Of Data Security On Piotrowski et alcite{Piotrowski}, the authors present a collaborative data storage (tinyDSM) middleware that addresses the common problems of store data on wireless sensor networks (WSN) using data replication on nodes of the network. However, in the proposal, the decision of the node to assume the role of data replicators is static and uses a random criterion depends only on the number of nodes and density of the network. It's created some problems if that node disappears from the network. On Lieskovsky et alcite{Lieskovsky}, the authors present a solution for data distribution and replication in VANET(Vehicle Ad–hoc Networks) that allows the perception the whole VANET system as a simple distributed database system. However, the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... One local layer that performs a preprocessing of data and later replicates them to a layer that is centralized in the cloud. Although the proposed address addresses a relevant problem in the IoT area, the work does not address the persistence of data at the edge of the network, considering the dynamic environment of Mist computing. On Confais et alcite{Confais} the authors evaluate through performance analysis three "off–the– shelf" object store solutions, namely Rados, Cassandra and InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) in Fog context environment. However, the used software platforms need devices with some computation processing power, so it is not applicable for simple devices, often found it in IoT environment. A first step to address the data persistence problem in the environment of Fog/Mist computing (DPPF), it is to model the problem formally. Therefore, given $D$, a data block of size $L$, which it wants to persist in the environment of Fog/Mist computing. Let's define $F$ as the network devices located at the edge of the network, and dynamically composed by $n$ active devices at time stamp $t$, among a total possible of $N_{t}$ devices. Therefore, let's assume that the set $F$ at the moment $t$ can be represented by a graph $G(V, E)$. Where the set of vertex $V$ are the $n$ active devices at the instant $t$, and $E$ the set of edges formed by the communication link between them. In our approach, the devices that are part of $F$ at instant $t$, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 74. The Discovery Of The Network Devices 1. Describe the steps you would take to determine the needs of the organization (the discovery of the network devices) As a consultant that was brought in to determine the needs of the organization, the primary starting point is content discovery. The art of content discovery is to get an understanding of the business, its network structure, organizational requirements and the resources that are available. Because the number one rule in all problem solving manifests, is first to know and get an understand the problem, the problem that you are tasked with or trying to solve. Therefore, the first element of content discovery is to get an understanding of the organization. Who is the company, what industry do they operate in, what services or products do they provide, what is their mission statement, what are their daily operations, are many of the questions that needs to be answered, often times before the job starts. The second element is to understand the organization from an internal point of view. It starts with understanding the structure of the organization, getting a high–level organization chart to help determine the divisional structure of the organization, their communication methods, the Service Level Agreements that they have in place, and their geographical profile in order to know whether there are additional sites in other regions. The next step within the second element is to get the structure and technical level of local and remote IT divisions, their ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Silo Organizational Structure Of Canadian Tire Structure and Process Relationship Canadian Tire has employed a silo organization structure, each department concentrate on its own silo rather than integrate data. The silo syndrome restricts the effectiveness on maximizing the competencies and resource of each department. Its BI system is definitely can be used to generate meaningful information, however, Its organization would face difficulties to interact and analyze data outside of the silos and create critical insight for decision–making. The IT infrastructure and the organization architecture cannot identify excellence business initiatives to drive the BI project across the organization. This can provide users an in–deep knowledge how the system is established, how to operate the system and how to transform and structure information into standardized data, at the same time, CTC can learn from their user experience design a better BI system will fit well with the existing working process and increase usability of this BI portal for the Data Warehouse on the BI system beta testing stage. By engaging senior management in the process would allow them to have a better vision on exanimating how well the current organization structure and culture is supporting the implementation of the BI system, and develop a better technical user supporting tools such as the "BI helpdesk website platform" to overcome the frustrations and problems that will occur to the users to eliminate the frustrations and increase the acceptance of the BI system. Moreover, it needs to establish an instant communication tool that provides one–click access throughout the organization to encourage interaction and reduce the psychological distance in collaboration. The BI system strategy will succeed only when user adopt the system , therefore there must have a strong alignment between the 4 components ( Structure, Technology, People and Process) and adequate training, supporting tool and reward incentives for ... • 78. Data Partition Properties And Its Structure For Preparing... Map/Reduce is a structure for preparing parallelizable issues crosswise over gigantic datasets utilizing a substantial number of PCs (hubs), all things considered alluded to as a group i.e. if all hubs are on the same local network and use the same hardware) or a framework i.e. if the hubs are shared crosswise over geologically and authoritatively conveyed systems, and use a more heterogenous hardware. Handling can happen on data saved either in a file system – unstructured or in a database – organized. Map/Reduce can exploit domain of data, preparing it on or close to the storage resources with a specific end goal to reduce the length over which it must be transmitted. Jiaxing et al. proposes SUDO, an advancement system that reasons about data partition characteristics, working properties, and data shuffling. They contend that reasoning about data partition properties crosswise phases opens up chances to reduce extravagant data shuffling. For instance, in the event that we realize that data partitions from past computation phases as of now have alluring properties for the following phase, we have the method to stay away from superfluous data shuffling steps. The fundamental obstruction to reasoning about data partition properties crosswise over processing phases is the utilization of UDFs [4]. At the point when a UDF is viewed as a "black–box", which is typically the case, we must expect conservatively that all data partition characteristics are lost subsequent to applying ... • 80. Role Of The Frame Table And The Disk Map Data Structures CH 8 1. In a 5–stage pipelined processor, upon a page fault, what needs to happen in hardware for instruction re–start? When there is a page fault during fetching an instruction pipeline must be drained, so that the instructions which are already executing show be finished first. After this we cater the page fault and restart instructions. Otherwise if there is a situation that page fault occur during MEM operation the instructions which are in other states such as in instruction fetch, instruction decode or execute can be condensed as they won't be making any changes to the registers. After this we can handle the page fault. 2. Describe the role of the frame table and the disk map data structures in a demand paged memory manager. Frame tables are used as a reference as we can get to know that which frames are available and which are already taken and which process they are allocated. Whereas the disk map data structures are used to know about the frames which are being swapped from the disk and where they can be relocated again. 4. Describe the interaction between the process scheduler and the memory manager. Process scheduler and memory manager these 2 ae codes which lie dormant when a user process is started. Sometimes, the supervisory timer interrupt raises the process scheduler which take decisions that which tasks should be run on Central processing unit. When a process is running it keeps on asking many read and write memory access in its logical address ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
