1. Q7 – LOOKING BACK AT YOUR
PRELIM TASK, WHAT HAVE YOU
LEARNT IN THE PROGRESSION
FROM THAT TO THE FINAL
PRODUCT?
Traffic Lights
2. JUNO
What I have progress from the Juno task was the different camera angles
and shots that can be used while filming. I have also learnt the different
effects that can be used such the change you can use in the colour of the
film and contrast. This worked well in our final production as we needed
to change contrast in many shots to make it darker as our film opening
was a dark, crime/drug film.

3. DANCING ANIMALS
What I have progress from the dancing animals task was mainly the how to
add sound over on the film footage and how to change the tempo and
speed of the sound so it fits well with the footage and is in sync. This helped
out of the final task as we used a song to go over the top of the opening
and we changed the speed of some parts so it would go well and sync with
footage. Another progression was the different transactions I tried out on
the dancing animals task. This helped as we used a range of transactions
and cuts in our final opening product.
4. DON’T DREAM
From our prelim don’t dream I have progressed on how to film and the
quality of filming as in this task some of the footage was not steady and the
zooming looked unprofessional and lacked quality. We progressed as for
the filming we used a tripod for most scenes where we could to make the
camera footage still and of a high quality. We also used more shots to
broaden the angles and show the intensity of the genre of our final product.
5. FILMING
I progressed hugely on the filming aspect this as we used a tripod and
reshot many takes until we were completely satisfied with the scene. We
progressed as for our final product we used a tripod for every scene
possible and made sure that we re-filmed when we needed whereas the
prelims we shot once and then went to the next shot. This proved key as our
final product had a higher quality and looked a lot better and more
professional then my prelim tasks that included filming.
