1. Attachments And Enhancements aids:
We found a number attachments and enhancements aids in Orient Fashion. They
were reducing the fatigue of employees to a great extent and giving a better
productivity. Some of the interesting attachments we found are as follows:-
1) Bottom Hemming Attachment:

Some of the enhancements aids are as follows:
1)Box for keeping size labels:
As we can see in the picture, the
box got five section in its for
keeping different size labels
most likely XS, S, M, L, XL etc. So
the did have to search a
particular size label. He/she will
be aware of where what size
will be. And there will be very
less time wasted.

2) Artificial Guide
This guide will help the operator to stitch correctly at a distance of more than 1
inch from the edge. It’s a very economical method to make a guide.
3) Elastic Insertion
This was a very interesting tool we have seen in the factory. Inserting an elastic
string in a pajama was very laborious and time consuming. This tool is savings a
lot of time and energy of the employees. Usually it takes more than one and half
minute to put a string in a pajama but with this tool one can finish 4 pcs in a
minute.

7. 4) Tape Cutter:
This device is used to cut the tape role into equals in order to fit in the garments.

5) Magnetic LED
They were using LED
right above the needle
bar, where the operator
needs the maximum light.
This reduces a lot of
electricity cost of the
factory.
8. 6) Pattern Tracing:
They were using a butter paper sheet, to trace the stitching pattern on the ply.
The liquid they using was a mixture Colgate power and water, as it was the
easiest to remove.

7) Using stencils/templates to give shapes and creasing
The operator was using a stencil/template to make crease of the respective part
of the garment. And then he/she can iron it.

9. 8) Sticking measuring templates
They use to stick a measuring template right on the table top of the machine. So
the operator does not have to use the inch tape to measure the part. This also
saved a lot of time.
