  6. 6. A Kennel’s Goods and Services<br />Adorable Pooches Palace is a local Evansville Kennel. Teachers can search for a local kennel that has a website for students in their classroom. <br />Explain that many businesses will offer both goods and services.<br />Have students look at the website for Adorable Pooches Palace and make a list of the goods and services offered.<br />Make a combined list on the board as a class. <br />

What other local businesses offer goods and services?<br />Put students into small groups. <br />The teacher should collect local businesses’ brochures about their goods and services. <br />Collect a variety of types of businesses such as lawn care, house cleaning, etc.<br />Have students work together in their groups to analyze the brochures and make a list of goods the business offers and services the business offers. <br />

Create a Business<br />Students will get into groups and make up their own businesses. <br />Students need to make a list of what goods and services their business offers.<br />Students will make a brochure advertising the goods and services their business offers to present to the class. <br />Groups will tell the class about their business and the goods and services it offers.<br />
