2. Question 5-how did you attract/address your audience?
Primary audience:
• Our film locked up is a documentary about a boy that was taken from his family
and was found by a neighbour. With some scenes that maybe will disturb
people our main audience would be people aged 18 and above. The film
could be hard to understand and maybe confusing to younger viewers.
Secondary audience;
• Our secondary audience is aimed at teen youth. It can have a hidden message
so they think about whom they are talking to on the streets and not to talk to
strangers because this sort of thing can happen to anyone. It also shows how it
affects other people not just the person taken. Although it might be interesting
it also shows the risks of being around strangers.
Music choice;
• For our film locked up we chose ‘wasting my young years’ by London grammar.
We chose this song because it is relevant to the story as he had wasted his
childhood because he was taken away and ‘locked up’. It helps make the
storyline more clear for the viewer’s making it easier to watch and can appeal
to more people.

5. Fed Back from peer assessor
These are some of the results we got from survey. We also asked another
people different question.
To Emily martin we asked; even if it’s a genre you didn’t normally watch, is
there anything you would improve and why?
Emily: its normally a genre id watch I’m more in to girly and action films but
after watching the opening of this film it looks really interesting and I’d
probably watch it if it real. If I had to improve the opening it would have to be
the interview part at the end and it doesn’t look real and the girl is a poor
actor and looks very uncomfortable during the seen. Also the way she is sitting
makes it look more unreal. They should either re-film it or cut it but apart from
that I enjoyed it.

6. What went well & Improvements
What went well;
• One of the things that went well in our film opening was our shots and
photos in the cabin; I got some good feedback from my class when they
watched it. They said it was realistic and they could imagine someone
living in them conditions. We also got some good feedback about the
editing and titles.
Improvements;
• If we had to redo the film opening I would change the interview seen as we
got some bad feedback about it and shot more of James in the cabin.
