This is based on Listing Skills. We made this on how we can listen English and how can we improve it. There are some rules described in it

❏ To listen is to give attention to sound or
action.
❏ While listening, one is hearing what others
are saying, and trying to understand what it
means.
❏ Listening is key to all effective
communication.
❏ Without the ability to listen effectively,
messages are easily misunderstood.

There are four types of listening
➔ Discriminative listening
Identifying the difference between
various sounds
➔ Pretense listening
.Involves more hearing than listening
➔ Selective listening
Select desire part and ignore undesired
part
➔ Attentive listening
Concentrate,Respond

S = Stay on target
T = Test your understanding
E = Evaluate the message
N = Neutralize your feelings

6. Rules of listening:
★ Stop talking
★ Stop thinking
★ Remove distractions
★ Do not let your mind wander
★ Be patient
★ Emphasize with the speaker
