development environment using emulators.
• Emulators provide an inexpensive way to test
applications on mobile phones to which developers
may not have physical access.
• For example; Google Android Emulator, MobiOne,
Testiphone, Iphoney, Blackberry stimulator and
Windows UI Automation.

labs in Lahore created a smartphone app
called ‘Groopic’ that lets one take a group
picture and insert themselves in it.
• In 2014, 10-year-old Haris Khan, a Pakistani
citizen became the world’s youngest mobile
app developer by developing the game
‘Super Soccer Kicks’ which is available for
free download on the App store.
