Trained ARC Technicians in various BAS technologies to be able to assist REO Field with BAS
troubleshooting and/or alarm verification or HVAC operation. In many cases; the ARC was able to reduce
operation cost for REO with this remote BAS access and intervention.
2. Standard ARC activities of BAS interrogation and Alarm handling procedures reduced Verizon cost by
Deferring REO Field Dispatch to Normal Business Hours for 15-20% of all alarms, and Preventing Dispatch
for another 35-40% of all alarms.
ARC due diligence of Alarm handling insured Compliance for alarms including Fire Alarm and Radio Tower
Beacon alarms. Proper Handling is essential to potential Life, Safety, and Property Loss which could also
result in Fines by the Governing Agencies that may range from $1000 to $25000 per day.
Tier2 Support - In addition to getting the work done in a timely fashion, there is the cost savings to Verizon.
