Job Description
Instrumentation/Industrial Mechanic
 Perform repairs/troubleshooting on process instrumentation such as flow, pressure and level
instruments. This will include the transmitters, primary elements and capillary and diaphragm
seals where necessary.
 Adhere to all plant safety standards, policies and procedures.
 Perform preventative maintenance (PM) functions on I/E equipment as needed.
 Perform emergency repairs during non-scheduled hours.
 Perform miscellaneous I/E duties as required including drawing mark-ups.
 Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
 Responsible for plant reliability of equipment and the work order system
 Perform welding as needed.
 Assist in performing site's calibration of machinery and equipment as required
 General maintenance.
 Read and understand single line diagrams, ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams, electrical
schematics, motor control centers and electrical panel layouts, conduit runs,
maintenance repair manuals and specification sheets.

2.  General awareness in pipe fitting, millwright, rigging, masonry, fabrication, and
machining disciplines.
 All other duties as assigned.
