Job Description
Instrumentation/Industrial Mechanic
Perform repairs/troubleshooting on process instrumentation such as flow, pressure and level
instruments. This will include the transmitters, primary elements and capillary and diaphragm
seals where necessary.
Adhere to all plant safety standards, policies and procedures.
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) functions on I/E equipment as needed.
Perform emergency repairs during non-scheduled hours.
Perform miscellaneous I/E duties as required including drawing mark-ups.
Assist in monitoring all work being performed by outside contractors.
Responsible for plant reliability of equipment and the work order system
Perform welding as needed.
Assist in performing site's calibration of machinery and equipment as required
General maintenance.
Read and understand single line diagrams, ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams, electrical
schematics, motor control centers and electrical panel layouts, conduit runs,
maintenance repair manuals and specification sheets.
2. General awareness in pipe fitting, millwright, rigging, masonry, fabrication, and
machining disciplines.
All other duties as assigned.
Hazardous Materials/Master Operator Lead man responsible for the management and
delegation of work responsibilities, procedural compliance, and written policies.
Responsible for the manufacturing of various products by following the production sheets.
Supervision of chemical blending and general production line performance. Shipping
finished products to both internal and external customers.
