1.1.2 History of the establishment and development
IVY English Language Center was officially established on October 20, 2017,
its predecessor from the foreign language tutoring center in the city. HCM has been
operating since 2014. The co-founder of the center is teachers with master's degree,
who have been studying abroad for the period of time. With the desire to convey to
students the modern and scientific method of English learning by the method of
"interactive reflection" together with the principle "7 golden hearts IVY" (mind, love,
responsibility, dedication, love, compliance, success). With the desire to train the
young generation of Vietnam Tai - Tri and promote the IVY brand to be increasingly
expanded. In addition, IVY teaches according to the motto "Education with people as
the core value", "educating with love and responsibility".
Objectives:
With pioneering aspirations and a completely new model "The method of
natural thinking reflection". IVY English Center wants to become a professional,

prestigious, effective and leading English training center at Ho Chi Minh city. Inspire
as well as set wings for the young generation of Vietnam to reach the international
level.
"Here no learner left behind" is the operating motto of IVY English Center.
With individual effort and dedication and based on an based on each student's
understanding it will be successful and effective for students with quality courses.
Mission:
Building a professional English learning environment, providing and
meeting all the requirements of each student. Find out the most effective method of
learning foreign languages, build a modern English foundation to help students build a
solid English foundation, confidently communicate in an international working
environment.
Learning environment:
With the teaching method "reflexive thinking method" helps learners find
joy, inspired by that to motivate learning.
In addition, Ivy also facilitates the curriculum by sponsoring scholarships
to encourage students to participate in activities in and out of the classroom.
1.2 Education program
IVY has diverse and advanced training programs. So far, the center has
attracted thousands of students participating in courses including: TOEFL, TOEIC,
IELTS, English for children according to Cambridge training standards: STARTERS,
MOVERS, FLYERS, CEFR with certificates European standards: FCE, CAE, CPE.
In addition, the center offers English classes from beginner to advanced.

1.3 Teachers and facilities
IVY English Center is highly appreciated by everyone thanks to its highly
qualified and teaching assistants scientific and methodical learning methods.
In addition, IVY has also established a strict recruitment process with faculty
positions. Before officially taking classes, all candidates must go through at least three
tests and a month of probation at the center.
On the other hand, IVY attaches great importance to investing in modern
equipment to make the teaching and learning process easier. In addition, the room is
also equipped with air conditioning to make the classroom atmosphere more airy.

1.5 Tasks of each department
Manager:
+ Being responsible for the company's activities before the Board of members and
current law;
+ Being responsible for foreign affairs;
+ Deciding on the Company's strategic policies and goals;
+ Supervising and inspecting all business activities of the Company.
Deputy manager:
+ Actively deploying and performing the assigned tasks and be responsible to the
Director for the effectiveness of the activities;
+ Assisting the Director in managing and operating the company's activities as
assigned by the Director;
+ Being authorized by the Director in writing appropriate to each stage and each job
level.
Business department:
+ Receiving and coordinate with other departments in the company to fulfill customer
service requests;
+ Collecting and aggregating market information, finding new customers, introducing
and selling services;
+ Being responsible for the management of communication, advertising, event
organization, branding and branding for the center;
+ Performing other duties according to the functions and requirements of superiors.
Admissions and counseling department:
+ Counseling and enrollment;

manager.
Education department:
+ Developing trainning strategy plans;
+ Developing regulations and documents for training organization and management;
+ Organizing enrollment and related academic contests;
+ Developing and managing teaching and learning plans;
+ Tracking the process of teaching, learning and learning outcomes;
+ Managing printing, issuing diplomas, training certificates;
+ Other duties as assigned by the board of directors.

2.1 The main assigned task of the internas an assistant consultant in the
company
- Collecting information related to business activities of IVY English Center;
- Finding out the current status of business activities of IVY English center, namely;
- Statistics of business results for the last 5 months of 2019;
- Finding information related to the current status of Marketing activities.
2.2 Task description
2.2.1 Fieldof bussiness activeties
Listening and Speaking Skills: for these two skills, IVY uses body language in
combination with sound to help students remember the actions they have done and
respond to them very quickly. In addition, it also helps students communicate more
effectively or achieve success in English presentations in public.
Academic English: includes listening, speaking, reading, writing skills for
international certification exams.
TOEIC: Consolidate knowledge of grammar and vocabulary so that students
practice all types of questions, TOEIC exam skills and overcome the traps in
questions.
IELTS: Help students build effective strategies and provide tips for exam
preparation. Systemize knowledge of vocabulary, grammar to practice exams and
develop practical skills.
2.2.2 Current situationof business activities
2.2.2.1 Business results in the last 5 months of 2019:
Revenue from English courses:
In the last 5 months of 2019, IVY attracted more than 150 students, children and
adults. Opening more than 13 courses, bringing a significant income to the center.

children class accounts for two-thirds.

Looking at tables 2.1 and 2.2, we can see that IVY English has achieved
remarkable results with a total amount of more than 200,000,000 million VND. In
general, this is not a large number compared to other centers in Ho Chi Minh City. But
that is a great encouragement for IVY to continue trying to maintain and develop in
the coming years.

2.2.2.2 Actual situation of marketing activities
Over the years, the center has also set up its own website for the purpose of
creating an online marketing strategy that can be flexibly customized based on the
needs of customers. This is also a useful tool to help promote the brand, attract
customers by posting posters, promotions, gifts...
IVY English also gave students a "summer scholarship course 2018" to
experience a new method of learning, giving them the motivation and passion to learn
English, helping them have career opportunities in the future.
- Sponsoring 5 full scholarships in 3 summer months worth 3,500000
VND/scholarship equivalent to 3 months of studying English at IVY English Center.
- Sponsoring 50 experience scholarships worth 1,200000 VND/interest, equivalent to a
1-month English study course at IVY English Center.
Rules
- 5 scholarships are awarded to 5 poor students who are eager to learn and achieve
good academic results in the 2017-2018 school year.
- 50 experience scholarships for children of employees, teachers and students wishing
to learn English and experience effective reflection methods at IVY.
Flexible pricing policy:
For IVY English center, the tuition fee is relatively suitable for the children
learning English. In addition, IVY also offers a policy of paying tuition fees for three
consecutive months throughout the course, to ensure convenience for students.

IVY English Center attaches great importance to marketing activities to
promote the brand and has achieved many achievements in recent years.

Although the annual revenue of the center is not as significant as other English
centers, it is also a remarkable source of income from the marketing department along
with other departments. From 100 to 200 million a year.

After difficult times, the IVy center has also become a reliable and effective
center for those wishing to learn English. Moreover, the center also enjoys a position
in Ho Chi Minh City.
Brand development
Through quality, service and brand building activities by organizing promotions,
scholarship programs or promoting the brand through the website, social networks,
Facebook ... attract students. But somewhat ineffective immediately, but in the long
run. Programs helped the center to expand its market.
In particular, the center holds free experience lessons, which is also a marketing
strategy of the center so that students can experience a part of the quality of the
teachers.
Competitiveness
IVY English center was able to compete in the market as well as other centers in
Ho Chi Minh City.

CHAPTER 3 ACHIEVED RESULTS AND ENHANCED
EXPERIENCE DURING THE INTERNSHIP
3.1 Consolidating theoretical knowledge learnedat university
Sometimes the knowledge at school is limited, but for the internship time is an
opportunity for trainees to improve their knowledge of the English language.
After 2 months of internship at IVY English Center, the intern learns many
interesting things in the field of business activities. It also helps me to expand my
knowledge and increase my English vocabulary.
In addition, intern feel they need to reinforce their listening, speaking, reading and
writing skills in order to apply them in some other fields later.
3.2 Enhancing practical skills
Communication skills
During the internship, the trainee improved his communication skills by interacting
with the brothers and sisters in the center, the customer and also talking on the phone
with the client. On the other hand, thanks to the teachers at the center who helped me
improve my English speaking and listening skills by communicating with them.
Computer skills
Most students do not know how to make full use of Excel. Because it's more
complicated than we think. But thanks to 2 months of internship in IVY English, the
internship tried to get acquainted and use it regularly at work, with the support of
colleagues. Therefore, the intern’s computer skills improved a lot.
3.3 Contributions to IVY English Center
After 2 months, the intern has successfully completed the task and met the
requirements of the delivery center:
- supporting consulting department and other departments;
- Abiding by the rules of IVY English Center well;
- actively learning and learning through assigned tasks;

CHAPTER 4 CONCLUSION
This internship brought me a lot of experience. I was able to learn and
experience many new things related to the foreign language education field and the
center's activities. Besides, I realize that I still have many shortcomings that need to be
improved in the future.
To develop well business activities, the right people should be recruited, the
right jobs will help the organization have a reasonable structure and a team of
departments suitable for each type of work. If done well, it will save other resources,
increase competitiveness, improve the reputation of the business and obviously
increase profits and grow.
Due to the limited time and knowledge, my report still has many shortcomings, I
hope to receive the comments of the teachers to make my writing more complete.
