Twenty – first
T stands in front of the class.
Do an action and say Simon Says + [action]. For example, T says “Simon Says CLAP YOUR HANDS” while doing that action. SS must copy what T does.
Repeat this process choosing different actions.
Then do an action but this time say only the action and omit ‘Simon Says’. Whoever does the action this time is out and must sit down.
The winner is the last SS standing.
To make it harder, speed up the actions.
T tells SS that there are 5 bloggers they are going to meet in this books. Among 5 bloggers, there are 4 people from English – speaking countries and 1 blogger from Vietnam.
T shows pictures and name of 5 bloggers and 4 flags of 4 countries, then tell SS to guess which countries these bloggers come from.
Give SS 3 minutes to work in pairs and read basic information about 5 bloggers.
Tell SS that they are going to play a game called WHO IS WHO? Each turn, T invites 1 SS to stand with their back to the board. T writes the name of one blogger on the board. SS will make 3 Yes/No questions to find out that blogger.
For example:
T writes “TOM” on the board.
SS ask: Is that blogger a girl? -> Class answer: No.
SS ask: Is he from American? -> Class answer: Yes.
SS ask: Does he live in New York? -> Class answer: Yes.
SS guess: He is Tom ->Class answer: Right.
Tell SS that they are going to review and know more of classroom language through comic strips.

Tell SS that from 13 to 19 we continue to add -th to create the ordinal numbers.
Ask SS “We say twenty-one or twenty-first when talking about date, class”. Yes, we say twenty-first.
Give more example like twenty-second, thirty-first
T chooses some celebrations on the book and ask SS some questions like “When is New Year’s Day?” – the first of January.
