Music Video Comments:
The work for the main task is complete.
There is evidence of excellence in the creative use of most of the technical skills.
• shooting material appropriate to the task set; including controlled use of the
camera, attention to framing, variety of shot sizes and close attention to mise en
scene
• editing so that meaning is apparent to the viewer and making selective and
appropriate use of shot transitions, captions and other effects
• recording and editing sound with images appropriately.
Excellent cinematography, excellent editing. Fantastic use of green screen and
VFXs. Great narrative. Fits lyrics and genre well. Professional piece of work.
Excellent and confident use of technology.
Ancillary Task 1: Digipak
The candidate has demonstrated proficiency in the creative use of most of the
technical skills. The design links well with all 3 products and follows conventions of
layout and page design. Shots used are appropriate to task and genre and are
edited well using photoshop. Excellent use of imagery and colour to convey the links
between products, although genre could be clearer.
Ancillary Task 2: Poster
The candidate has demonstrated proficiency in the creative use of most of the
technical skills. The main image is shot, framed and edited excellently in photoshop.
Overall design fits conventions well. Inclusion of text and release date shows good
awareness of the general conventions of a poster, however the website positioning
makes the end hard to read.
