Name-Roxanna Elden
Brief life history- Roxanna, author of See Me
After Class has been teacher for eleven years
and decade of speaking about education
issues. She is author, story and a novel writer.
See Me After Class was her first book.

17. About the book
• The book name See Me After Class is
specially for the new fresh teachers. It has
given so many tips and guidance from many
experienced teachers.
• This book is meant for the great teachers to
become great and deals head on with the
challenges and not to quit but get you back
to the school after long winter vacation.

18. Paragraphs, topics and lines that I
found amusing in this book:
• Read it when a lesson goes horribly wrong,
when your whole class “forgets” a major
project, or when a parents curses at you in
front of the kids.
• You will hear lots of advice your first year.
Some will be good and others be bad. The
advice will come from three main sources:

sentence of them is “ RESEARCH HAS
SHOWN…..”
2. Other experience teachers – gives advice
based on what they think instead of
providing honest answers.
3. Nonteachers- People who work with other
adults are eager to tell teachers what they
would do if they were teachers.

• Making students write reflective writing-
remember in other sense its not punishment,
its learning tool.
• Losing free time- lunch detentions, after
school detentions, staying a few minutes
after the bell .

• No kid is really “bad,” and it’s wrong to label kids.
