David Attenborough collected natural specimens as a child and studied geology and zoology at Cambridge. He originally edited children's science books for the BBC after being turned down for a radio producer job, but was later given a training course and became a full time BBC member, rising to director of programs. Attenborough is credited with numerous acclaimed nature documentary series including Planet Earth, Blue Planet, Frozen Planet and Africa, with over 200 credits for interviews and shows as a writer, producer, director and editor focusing on wildlife and nature.
