Summary As an experienced ANZ AGRI Manager, managing a large book, <$120+
mill, through two significant
financial periods. I was also immensely proud of my achievements in getting a comprehensive positive
vote in the Dairy Industry merger, whilst in charge of Supplier Relations throughout the South Island.
My commercial life has been concentrated in the Dairy sector, meeting farmers’ expectations, managing
projects and programmes with defined outcomes in finite periods of time. Last 8 yrs I have managed a large
lending book, with experience in Drystock prior
My strengths are the solid grounding I have in working with farmers. I have experience in crafting the
message and delivering an outcome, encouraging positive engagement, facilitating clear communication
through honest dialogue.
I am a natural educator, both with the Bank in coaching graduates and new staff, but also with farmers with
my experience in the initial roll out of Fencepost, where I organised and ran user tutorials.
I managed the process of designing, developing and running the winter milk tendering process, again
through Fencepost.

Career ANZ BANK OF NEW ZEALAND 2008 - Present
Responsible for developing, maintaining and growing a customer portfolio of NZ$100+mill lending book
with in excess of 60 client contacts.
Currently based in the Waikato, NZ most intensively farmed region, of predominately dairy farming
customers. I benefit from long term client relationships, with focus on what’s important to them,
understanding that therefore it is good for the Bank. The measure of my success is that I have been
recognised within the Bank, every year for 3 yrs. of the last 4.
I have been an integral part in one of the most successful Rural Branches within the ANZ Bank and used the
opportunities I’ve had to drive best practice across all facets of my position.
Highest respondent number from the My Voice Survey, with 91% Customer Service, 100% Customer
Contact Survey and 69% positive for NPS.
Revenue (STD up $4 Mill), growth, with existing strong proactive relationships the key driver
Public face of ANZ bank locally, with involvement in P3
Trust, speaking to local schools and groups and
running open days, discussion and “high Net Worth” activity.
Current Dairy Specialist within the Bank, charge with embedding and promoting the use of Dairy tools,
e.g. DairyBase, on farm Business Analytic Tool, as well as developing spreadsheets useful within the local
branch.
Career  Project manage stressed customers to ensure the outcome was consistent with Bank values, but with
the best outcomes for customers. All customers are still with the Bank. Branch specialist for
succession planning for rural family businesses.
 Proven Success as a New Business Manager, with up to $5mill brought through new to bank deposits
over a 9mth period.
 Collaborated with Key Members from others BEU to develop and implement any new cross sales
opportunities

Through internal promotion I progressed from Area Manager to a role with Specialty Milks. I redeveloped the
specialty milks programmes for Organic and Winter Milk and made these programmes more efficient,
transparent and accountable. This enabled me to develop strong Project Management skills, negotiating skills
and presentation skills to the Board, Management and Public.
 I managed, negotiated and administered 900 supplier contracts with farmers nationwide
 Responsible for staff and analysts through development and in BAU. Staff were promoted out of our
Business unit.
 I facilitated, wrote and presented proposals to management and board for the commercialisation of two
specialty milks projects.
 Farmer education to new tools for:
o Winter-Milk, which required additional interface with company on the tendering process for volume
and the administration of contract for sale or transfer
o Organic milk web strategy was to get a joint platform that was administered locally but manage jointly
with suppliers
 I analysed and redesigned out of season milk payments with emphasis on a web-based solution
 I managed an internal operating budget in excess of $1mill
 I developed and coordinated an educational organic focus farm
 I was responsible for encouraging other business units to collaborate and manage the change within their
systems – Particularly on collection of out of season milk but also manufacturing protocol on organics
Kiwi Dairies and Fonterra AREA MANAGER (South Island)
To provide an ongoing visible, approachable and recognizable point of contact in the South Island for dairy
company shareholders, to provide reports and comments for senior staff and in company publications.
 Responsible for the delivery of Merger proposal, to South Island Dairy farmers, culminating in the merger
of three dairy companies into Fonterra.
 Coordinating public meetings, between suppliers and management, chairing meetings, managing Q&A
and handling opposition and disruption. Sole representative for Kiwi Dairies in the South Island.
 Managed the education of suppliers to new platform for Dairy company, Fencepost
 Managed and ran Dairy Farmers of the year awards, over all regions of NZ. Involvement was over all
aspects of competition from, ensuring format and analysis was credible, to fronting and managing the
contestant’s experience.
 Project Managed the Introduction of 40 new dairy conversions in the Otago region
 Project managed Fonterra’s response to the 2004 Manawatu floods.
Academic I was conscripted and fought in The Rhodesian Army, from Dec 1976 – Jan 1979, and served with the
Grey Scouts.
