4. Films 1
When watching this 360-degree film I thought the way it was pieced
together was good and the smoke effect with the horses just appearing
was very good. However I did think it was quite basic, I thought that a
bit more could have been added to help make it more engaging and
appealing for the audience. This is because the story felt a bit basic and
i think if more was added to it, it would have been much better.
However overall I thought it was good but i wouldn't recommend it to a
friend because it wasn't really much to talk about and so if more
happened throughout i would have probably recommended it to a
friend.

5. Films 2
When watching this animation I thought the graphics throughout were
very good and that it was an interesting piece to watch. I thought that
the tune throughout the animation went well with the animation. I did
find it appealing and engaging. Overall I quite enjoyed the animation,
and I would watch it again because it was engaging and there was quite
a bit happening unlike the 360-degree ex amina where hardly anything
happened. I feel like with his animation i can take away the graphics bit
as it may help with future project and possible university. I would also
recommend this animation to a friend because there's quite a bit to
talk about it.

6. Films 3
When watching this documentary I thought that it was going to be
boring from reading the desicription but when I got into the
documentary a bit more it was quite interesting. Mainly becuase you
got the views of a variety of people that lived near the sea and get
impacted badly by the weather. I thought that it was good getting a
variety of view from a range of people the only thing that doesn’t make
me want to watch it again is that I didn’t find it appealing enough. This
was because it felt basic and was just full of seeing people's views
mainly. So overall I thought it was good, but I do think it could have
been a little better. This i wouldn't really recommend to a friend to
watch because i felt like something was missing to help make it more
engaging.

7. Films 4
Before watching this music video I thought it looked quite appealing
and then when actualy watching the music video I thought that it was
good even though it wasn’t english. There was a lot happening which I
liked because it didn’t feel like it was basic. I also liked how it grabbed
our attention from the start, it had something happening throughout
the video which I liked. However I do feel like there could have been
slightly more added to it like more effects. This may have made it
slightly better but overall I thought it was good. However i would also
recommend it to a friend because i feel in a way its quite interesting to
watch.

While watching the drama drifting, I thought that in a way it was quite
interesting because it was about two friends. But I also felt like it wasn’t
engaging enough this maybe because I personally don’t like dramas and
that others may think different. But once you knew what the story was
about in a way it was interesting to watch. However overall I wouldn’t
watch it again as I didn’t feel like it was engaging enough, but for those
who I think are into drama I think its ideal for them. However i wouldn't
recommend it to a friend unless they liked dramas mainly because it
felt quite boring in a way and it didn't grab my attention as much as i
thought.

Crunch was an interesting animation and I quite enjoyed it. I thought
the graphics were very good throughout and were very consistant. It
was engaging and appealing throughout the animation. If I got to watch
it again to watch. Overall I think it was a really good piece to watch and
the graphics throughout were very good. I would definitely recommend
it to a friend because it grabbed my attention from the very start and
there's quite a bit to talk about. I would also take this animation into
consideration because the graphics used throughout the animation i
could help link it to future projects and my choice of university courses.

10. Films 7
When watching this animation I thought in a way it was quite good, but
I also thought it was quite basic with the tune within the background.
However the video had a story behind it which I think helped engage
the audience into watching it. I also think the purpose on why the
animation was made was interesting because it made you see the
animation in a completely different way compared to if you saw the
animation without knowing the story behind it. Overall I thought the
animation was quite good, but I do think it could have been a little
better.

When watching this music video I thought it was quite good because
quite a bit happened throughout the music video. However I do think it
would have been a bit better if it had some effects or more engaging
things happening. This would have helped the music video become
more engaging, interesting and appealing. However I wouldn’t watch
the music video again mainly because not enough happened through
the video. But it was quite a good music video I just persoally think it
would have been a little bit better with a bit more happening.

This documentary was very interesting, because in a way it had a sad
feeling to it. This was mainy because it was based around someone
who was no longer here. It also made the documentary interesting
because it was spoken from the parent and sisters' point of view as well
as hatties point of view which was written in diaries and notebooks.
But overall I thought it was very interersting and I would probably
watch it again. I would recommend this documentary to a friend
because i think the story is very interesting and it makes you aware of
mental health and other issues that people struggle with.

13. Masterclass 1
When watching this masterclass it was very interesting because it
talked about how movies such as fantastic mr fox were made. It also
talked about how they created a frame in the film and the difficulties
they encounted. This showed me that even film companies that make
famous movies, struggle when making a scene. Overall I would come
and watch this again because it gives you a better understanding on the
time and skills used to make something like a scene. I could relate it to
my future projects because it talks about how the graphics were made
and how each scene was made which in a way could help with what i
plan to do in future topics and possible university.

one frame at a time
14. Masterclass 2
Within this masterclass it was quite interesting in a way because it
talked about how creating films like the snowman and how it's different
from creating films like shark tale, batman etc. However it wasn’t as
interesting as the masterclass on cinematography. I think it wasn’t as
interesting as the first masterclass I watched because it was mainly
questioning and answers rather than showing bits of film like the first
masterclass. Overall I thought it was quite interesting and it showed me
how people like to stick to one type of design within films and how
they find that through learning in something they are passionate about.
MASTERCLASS TITLE
Fantastic tales: adapting classic stories
15. Masterclass 3
This masterclass that I watch I found quite boring because I felt like it
wasn’t engaging enough even though it was walking you through things
on how to create captivating narratives. It was mainly just listing things
to include, and it didn’t really appeal or engage in the audience. Overall
I wouldn’t watch it again because it wasn’t engaging enough and i
didn't feel like a learnt as much as i wanted to.

16. University Showcase
I chose this showcase because it looked like it had a good variety of
genres and some looked like they would be useful to help me through
future projects and possible career choices. However the animation
hop to it was funny and very good. There was a lot happening
throughout the animation and it was engaging and appealing. The
graphics were good and consistent throughout the animation and the
tunes used within the background went well with what was happening
throughout the animation. Overall I would watch this again as it is a
very enjoyable animation and i would also recommend it to a friend as i
feel like its enjoyable to watch.
SHOWCASE TITLE

17. University Showcase 2
Again i chose this showcase because it looked like it had a very good
variety of genres and more of them looked like something i would be
interested in like animation. However the Risk it for a biscuit animation
was also very good, the graphics throughout were very consistant. It
also had quite a sweet feeling because it was about a gingerbread boy
who wanted to see the outside world and didn’t realise how scary it
was until he got lost and then reunited with his father. This is
something I would watch again because it is both engaging and
appealing.
SHOWCASE TITLE
University of Lincoln
18. University Showcase 3
This showcase i didn't think it was as appealing as the university of
Lincoln, this was because it looked like it was mainly drama or
documentary and hardly any animation. But the drama lockdown
gothic I thought was very basic even though it had some tension. The
story behind it was quite interesting but I did think it was basic. I don’t
think it was engagaing as it suggested in the title. However I wouldn’t
watch it again mainly because I feel like it needed more to it and that it
wasn’t as engaging and appealing as i thought it would be.
SHOWCASE TITLE

19. Guest Programme
The films mostly in this programme were documentary. This
documentary no ball games was interesting because you saw how kids
from working class grew up and how they made up games to interact
with each other. It also showed you how they came up with the games
and what the games are. Overall I think it's quite interesting and I
would probably watch it again.
GUEST PROGRAMME TITLE

20. Guest Programme 2
The films mostly in this programme were documentary. This
documentary northern ballers I didn’t find as interesting as no ball
games, this was because I didn’t feel like it was engaging enough. It felt
quite boring, this maybe because I didn’t find it as appealing as the first
guest programme. Overall I wouldn’t watch it again mainly because it
wasn’t engaging, and it felt quite boring because the story felt quite
basic.
