e have come a long way with the way one

When formal education came into the picture for children,
parents were aware about the importance of learning in
their child’s life. This led the foundation of schools and
reputed universities worldwide. While some countries then
still followed their self-developed methods of educating
their younger generation, the European inﬂuence deﬁned a
proper education structure, giving formal education a
framework in the form of schools, universities, and
institutions.
Walking ahead in the times of the Industrial Revolution,
schools, colleges, and universities became a necessity for
everyone. Industries started to rely more on these
educational institutions that equipped the students with a
complete understanding of the subject. Little did everyone

“The lockdown was a tough time. But
the Ironhack team, having a strong
grasp on technology already, had a fast
and easy transition into the new
educational landscape introduced by
the COVID-19 pandemic,” remarked
the astute CEO, Gonzalo Manrique.
“We have been teaching our programs
remotely, allowing people from
diﬀerent parts of the country to study
from the comfort of their homes,” he
added.
Now that the situation in Spain is
improving, with more people getting
vaccinated, the Madrid campus is open
and people can take advantage and use
the Barcelona facilities to study and
work from there. Ironhack’s
curriculum remains the same, it is
taught in person or online. But, of
course, the company uses collaborative
tools and Zoom for online classes. It
has improved its ‘Career Week’, in
order to make sure its students are
ready to work remotely.

the COVID-19 pandemic. With schools, colleges,
and other educational institutions undergoing
signiﬁcant structural changes, students may feel lost,
confused, or frightened about their future. The
transformation of technology in the education sector
has helped a lot during the pandemic to connect
students with tutors.

• More engagement:
Some parents lack communication with
their children because of their heavy
working lifestyle. Even amid a
coronavirus outbreak, it is one of the
most effective strategies to encourage
kids to improve their grades. This will
only happen if we maintain open lines
of communication with students and
give them assistance when they require
it.
Kids are so energetic and filled with
curiosity, and the most important thing
is that they do not know how to
manage their time. The engagement of
parents makes it easier to schedule
study time and fun time. Relation
between the parent and child becomes
stronger with strong communication.
Parents are idol people for the kids
from birth, and they learn more from
the parents than the other tutors.
• Have communication with
tutors:
Communication between parents and
teachers should be ongoing and have
clear communication channels from the
outset. Keeping parents active on a
regular basis fosters a sense of

then, we’re observing significant changes in our lifestyles on a daily basis.
Almost every industry is encouraging work from home. Moreover, a major
change in the education industry was seen as the learning paradigm shifted from
classroom learning to digital learning. But now, it seems like offline learning will be
back in fashion.
The education sector was severely affected by the online modes of learning. It was
particularly difficult for teachers and students as they had to shift from the traditional

method. It was tricky to get used to the
online approach, but everyone got used
to it and was comfortable with time.
For a while, it became the new norm in
