The person who leads or commands a
group,organisation or country
Has a vision and leads the group towards a
common goal that needs to be achieved.

Leadership is not about position, a title, or
status. it is about influence.

self-committed, gives instruction.
Does not consult staff, nor allowed to give
any input.

In this style, the leader allows the employees
to make the decisions.
However the leader is still responsible for
the decision that are made.

Also known as prescriptive style.
Encourages staff to be a part of the decision
making.

A leader has to change his leadership style
depending upon the abilities of subordinates.
A specific leadership style is not suitable to
subordinates with different abilities.
