Working Title:
The Light of Hearth
Product’s Purpose:
My products main purpose is for me to create the most unique, engaging novel which would
entertain, immerse, surprise, shock and toy with my audiences emotions. I will achieve this by
making a realistic script with relatable slang and comedic lines. I will make the comic art style
attractable with immersive settings. My story will defiantly be epic and emotional.
Genre:
My graphic novel will have a variety of mixtures of genres such as fantasy as I can be creative to
make a fake immersive world. Action which will introduce tense and epic scenes. Adventure as the
protagonist will be moving from place to place which is extending my world. Romance which will
add development to the characters and a better story.
Content
My graphic novel story will be about a young male teen named hearth which has a skill in combat
and has fire abilities. His backstory is a mysterious secret which he keeps to himself. He
adventures alongside his steed which is a phoenix and his friend called princess Ember of the sky
elves. She has high skill in medieval combat and knowledge of war strategies. They both explore
the world of Alfarr and meeting new and old enemies.
Audience:
My project will be for both male and female as I will be including two protagonists one boy and one
girl. My questionnaire had a mixture of genders answering it which means I’ll have to make it non
gender specific. My audience also wanted more than one protagonist as stated on my
questionnaire.
I will be attracting an older audience from 16-34 as I will be including strong language, gore and
violent and maybe some nudity. The questionnaire and interview supports my idea as people
agreed on my idea of graphic scenes. That age range also wanted more than one protagonist as it
is more interesting.
My comic will be for those who are into a compelling story similar to marvel and dc. It might mainly
attract nerdy type people as my story is set in a fantasy world.
Legal & Ethical Considerations:
I will have many violent gory scenes with strong language which would restrict a younger audience
from reading my novel. My audience research supports this as most people I questioned are 16
and over.
I will try not to offend any groups of such kinds however my story has realistic characters which
some may have offensive attitudes. To prevent any offensive acts I will try not to add characters
that are offensive to a certain group.
I am not creating any characters and logos that already exist which make my project unique.
My project is entirely unique so I wouldn’t have to get a copyright strike.
