Professional Summary:
Highly motivated and skilled Administrator who graciously handles and resolves
challenging client issues.
Driven to consistently deliver exceptional client support.
Self-directed and innovative thinker with a knack for developing creative
solutions to complex problems. Seeking a position with the opportunity for new
challenges and professional development and advancement.
Dedicated professional with over 50 years in Administration, at Executive level.
My employment during this time with multiple employers enables me to offer a
most comprehensive academic and work background in social services, as well as
strong interpersonal, organizational and computer skills.
Unfortunately, I am submitting this resume as a result of my present position of employment
being made redundant by the Tasmanian Government. This I find very difficult to accept as I
feel I still have quite a few years of valuable work experience left and still wish to remain
working.
Objectives:
To provide prospective employers with the experience I have gained over 50 years of
administrative employment and thereby give the most value for their money at the same time
improving the service they extend if needed.
Employment Profile:
My professional background consists of over 50 years of administrative employment. Most of
these positions have been with various State and Federal Government Departments –
Education Department

Australian Legal Aid
Tasmanians with Disabilities Inc. (Current employer)

I have also been employed as a temp with Manpower and Jet Employment for many years –
Royal Hobart Hospital

Clarence High School
Tasmania Police
Tasmania Prison
Forestry Department
Justice Department
These temporary positions were given to me on a “fly-in, fly-out” basis where I was required
to “hit the ground running” with each position – this I found absolutely no problem with and
had no difficulty in completing and enjoyed the work immensely.
During this time, I have always demonstrated a work ethic which has portrayed me as a
highly motivated employee, excelling with analysing, prioritizing and completing tasks whilst
exhibiting professionalism and sound judgement.
I am a highly motivated individual, and consider myself to be proficient and reliable and very
versatile – traits that will be supported by my referees.
I have a proven record of being a skilful and dedicated employee with extensive experience in
the coordination, planning and support of daily operational and administrative functions in a
highly confidential environment, and as such, consider I would be an asset to anyone
requiring my services.
Associated Experience:
Design of PowerPoint presentations as required.
Scheduling of Board of Directors meetings and assisted with meeting materials and
