My name isKatherine Reddyand Iam interestedinbecominga part of your company. I believe that
my workexperience,educationandstrongattentiontodetail,wouldmake me anideal candidatefor
the current position.
My last role of employment was as a Lecturer and Exams Assistant at ICESA City Campus. I was
initially tasked to lecturer English to all first year students. My challenge was that most of of my
studentscame frombackgroundswere English was their second or third language. My priority was
to help students in their first year to adapt to the tertiary learning environment and help them
practice Basic English principles.
Duringmy secondyearof service I was called upon to assist in the Exams Department. In the latter
part of that year I was appointed the title of, Acting Head of Examinations. My greatest challenge
was while coordinatingexams,sign-off meetings and graduation; I had to also manage student and
staff queries, while completingall administrative tasks. In those three months I grew, adapted and
excelled in the pressurized environment, and with my Public Relations background I was able to
communicate effortlessly with both management and staff, and assist them so that we could all
work in synergy.
My work experience alsoincludes teaching,sales andadministration,which has prepared me to work
well inprofessional andchallengingenvironments.Iacquiredagoodunderstandingof the principles
and practicesof customerrelations,recordsmanagement andawide-range of administrationduties.
From my years of experience in teaching and sales, I have become highly resourceful on how I
communicate,relate andunderstandpeople.Iam committedtoaccuracy and excellence inthe work
place.I possessastrongsense of urgencyand am accustomedto workingonmultiple projectswitha
quick turnaround time.
