2. “Combination products”, are the products that contain two or more active
ingredients in a single formulation. Different compatible active ingredients
of diverse mode of action are combined together and used against target
insect.
What is combination insecticide ?
“Combination products” overcome tank mixing of two or more insecticide.
Insecticide with different MOA like contact and systemic nature can be
applied at one time.
“Combination products”, offer synergistic and phytotonic action
Advantages of combination insecticide ?
3. Acephate 50% + Bifenthrin 10 % WDG
It is used in Rice, Cotton, Cereals, Maize, Sugar Beet,
Potatoes, Vegetables, Citrus Fruit, Pomegranates
Used against sucking and borer insects like
Aphids, Thrips, Sawflies, Leaf Miners,
Leafhoppers, Cutworms, Leaf & Plant Hoppers,
Whiteflies, some Species of Lepidopterous Larvae
like Cotton bollworm and Colorado potato Beetle.
A combination of SYSTEMIC Organophosphate and CONTACT Syn. Pyrethroid insecticide

4. Buprofezin is a insect growth regulator, acting as an inhibitor of chitin synthesis, while
Acephate is a systemic organo-phosphate insecticide, acts on Acetylcholine esterase enzyme.
Buprofezin 9% + Acephate 24% WP
It is recommended against like Green leaf hopper, Brown plant hopper,
Jassids etc. Higher concentrations are effective against Stem borers
also.
In India, THREE different formulation for this combination products are available. This are :
Buprofezin 15% + Acephate 35% WP

Besides sucking pests of rice, it is also effective against Stem Borers.

Both the insecticides in combination product shows systemic
activities with different MOA. This product is effective against
Aphids, Bollworms, Jassids, Thrips & Whitefly.

10. Acetamiprid 0.4% + Chlorpyriphos 20% EC
CHLORPYRIPHOS is an Organo-phosphate insecticide, used to control
different kinds of pests, including termites, mosquitoes, and roundworms.
It is contact in action, while ACETAMIPRID Is a broad spectrum
neonicotinoid insecticide. It acts on insects as contact & stomach poison. It
is a systemic insecticide with translaminar activity in plants. Acetamiprid
is generally used to protect plants against sucking insects such as aphids,
whitefly etc.
It is recommended in paddy against
invasion of Stem borer, Brown Plant
Hopper(BPH), White Backed Plant
Hopper (WBPH) etc.

12. This combination insecticide formulation has ovicidal and nymphicidal action, as
well as mortal action on adult sucking pests. Hence it has ability to reduce pests
numbers immediately by acting on all the lifecycle stages of sucking pests.

It is an insecticide combination used for the control of jassids,

insecticide. It is active on chewing pest insects
primarily by ingestion and secondarily by
contact.
It is recommended against Pod Borer in Arhar and Bollworm complex in Cotton.
LAMBDA CYHALOTHRIN is a synthetic
pyrethroid insecticide and acaricide It has
contact and stomach action on the target

It has a combination of systemic (Imidacloprid) and contact
(Beta – cyfluthrin) insecticides, which gives quick knockdown
& immediate death of target insects as well as anti-feeding
effects. It is thus a broad segment insecticide for sucking and
biting pests
It is used in Brinjajl against Shoot & fruit Borer, aphids
& Jassids.
Also used in soybean against semilooper.

BUPROFEZIN is an IGR effective on Homopterous pests such as Plant Hoppers,
Leaf hoppers, White Flies, Scales and Mealy Bugs, while FIPRONIL used to kill
thrips, jassids, aphids, YSB and leaf folder in rice and Diamond back moth in
Cole crops.
It is effective in controlling BPH, WBPH & YSB in Rice

20. Chloropyriphos 16% + Alphacypermethrin 1% EC
Here, combination insecticides are having Contact & Stomach action, which
effectively controls wide range of sucking as well as chewing pest. Has quick
knock down property.
Effectively controls BOLLWORM COMPLEX in Cotton.

21. Chlorpyriphos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC
A non-systemic insecticide combination of Organophosphorus and Synthetic pyrethroids
group with contact and stomach action. THE PRODUCT IS USED TO CONTROL CHEWING
AND SUCKING INSECT PESTS. Used in cotton, rice, jute etc for control of different types of
insect pests. It can also used in ornamentals, citrus, Pear, Apple, Peach, Apricoat, Grapes etc.

22. Chlorpyriphos 50% + Cypermethrin 5% EC
It has greater effectiveness against all
Lepidopterean pests.
Due to higher persistence value it

DELTAMETHRIN is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide, effective by contact
and ingestion and is Effective against a wide range of insect pests, while

Hoppers, Leaf hoppers, White Flies, Scales and Mealy Bugs.
It is used in rice for controlling of different types of leaf / plant hoppers & Leaf folder

24. Deltamethrin 1% + Trizophos 35% EC
TRIAZOPHOS is an organophosphate insecticide and acaricide with contact and
stomach action. It is non - systemic, but penetrates deeply into plant tissues.
DELTAMETHRIN is a pyrethroid which is effective against insects via ingestion and
direct contact. Deltamethrin interfere with normal production and conduction of nerve
signals in the nervous system which results in abnormal functioning of insect.

25. Deltamethrin 1% + Trizophos 35% EC
A double action insecticide to control Boll worm , White fly, Jassids in Cotton and
Shoot & fruit borer, Epilachna Beetle, Aphids in, brinjal.

26. Emamectin Benzoate 1.5% + Fipronil 3.5% SC
It is a Combination of
Avermectin and
Phenylpyrezole family.

EMAMECTIN BENZOATE is used to control lepidopterian insects in vegetable, cotton, and
tobacco, with a high selectivity on beneficial insects. It is a non-systemic insecticide which
penetrates leaf tissues by trans-laminar movement.
FIPRONIL is a broad-spectrum insecticide that belongs to the phenylpyrazole chemical
family. Fipronil disrupts the insect central nervous system, causing ultimate death. It is kill
thrips, jassids, aphids, YSB and leaf folder in rice and Diamond back moth in Cole crops.

27. Ethion 40% + Cypermethrin 5% EC
It is highly effective against all types of
bollworms on cotton and leaf eating &
fruit boring caterpillars in a wide range of
crops like vegetables, pulses etc. It is also
effective against whiteflies on cotton and
vegetables. It also has miticidal /
acaricidal effects.

28. It is a very effective combination for HOPPER MANAGEMENT IN PADDY, especially
BPH and WBPH, thereby avoiding possibly of hopper burn in the later crop stages.
Ethiprole 40 % + Imidacloprid 40% WG
Ethiprole is a broad spectrum insecticide, effective at low
concentration against plant hoppers, Thrips, aphids, weevil,
flies, maggots, leaf miner and whiteflies. It is a good tool for
insect resistance management.
Imidacloprid is a systemic insecticide that acts as an insect
neurotoxin and belongs to a class of chemicals called the
neonicotinoids which act on the central nervous system of
insects.

29. Fenobucarb / B.P.M.C. 20% + Buprofezin 5% SE
FENOBUCARB is a broad spectrum contact and stomach action insecticide of
carbamate group, controls sucking insects in paddy fields, cotton, tea, oilseeds etc,
while BUPROFAZIN is a broad spectrum insecticide of Thiadiazine group, which acts by
controlling the growth rate of insect.
Doses : 2.5 mL / L of Water.
It is recommended for controlling hopper
pests like WBPH, BPH, GLH in paddy.
It has some fumigant effect also.

30. Flubendiamide 19.92+ Thiacloprid 19.92% SC
FLUBENDIAMIDE acts as a Ryanodine
Receptor disruptor of cellular calcium
movement, important for muscle
contractions. It causes lethargy,
paralysis, rapid feeding cessation and
death.
THIACLOPRID acts as an agonist on the
post-synaptic nicotinic acetylcholine
receptors of motor neurons in insects.
This causes an over-stimulation of the
nervous system, and ultimately kills the
insect.
Doses : 5 mL / 10 L of Water.

This combination product is an excellent tool for the management of chronic problems of
WHITE GRUB, especially in SUGARCANE.
IMIDACLOPRID is systemic in nature, it disturbs the proper signal
transmission system of insects, leading to excitation of nerve cell & disorder
of the nervous system, finally leading to the death of the treated insect.
FIPRONIL primarily acts as an ingestion toxicant with some complimentary
contact action and acts by interfering in nerve impulse transmission.

It is used as seed dresser.
This combination is very effective in Groundnut. It

of action. NOVALURON acts as a chitin synthesis inhibitor and INDOXACARB
affects the insect nervous system by inhibiting sodium ions entry into nerve
cells. Hence it hampers moulting & also paralyses insects. Moreover, this
combination product has a phytotonic effect on crops.

Phosalone 24% + Cypermethrin 5% EC is recommended for the control of
various insect species in/on almonds, apples, apricots, cherries, grapes,
peaches, pears, and plums.
Phosalone: it is a OP insecticide and it kills the insect pests by acting as
cholinesterase (ChE) activity inhibitor.
Cypermethrin: it is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide. It is Non-systemic
with contact and stomach action, acting as Sodium channel modulator.
Dose: 1.75 – 2.0 mL /lit of water.

39. Cypermethrin 3% + Quinalphos 20% EC
It is applied for controlling American boll worm, Spotted boll worm, Jassids, Shoot and
fruit Borer in Cotton, Brinjal etc.
QUINALPHOS is a broad spectrum, highly effective organo-phosphorus insecticide with
contact and stomach action, where as CYPERMENTHRIN is a non-systemic insecticide
with strong contact action, rapid knock-down effect and excellent residual activity.
It is recommended against fruit & shoot borers, bollworms and jassids.

Cyfluthrin is a pyrethroid insecticide

This combination gives effective control of LEPIDOPTERAN PESTS and, harmful PHYTOPHAGUS MITES
on various crops. It has exceptionally good penetration and quick knockdown properties.
FENPYROXIMATE is a contact and stomach acaricide. Prior to
knockdown and death, mites treated with Fenpyroximate gets
paralyzed on the leaf and stop feeding.
PROFENOPHOS belongs to organophosphate insecticides, it works by
inhibition of the enzyme acetyl cholinesterase, which is essential for
the transmission of impulses in target insects.
It controls THRIPS, MITES and BORER PESTS on chilli and other

45. Pyriproxyfen 5% + Fenpropathrin 15% EC.
It is recommended to control
Whitefly and Bollworms in Cotton,
Whitefly, thrips, shoot and fruit
borer in Brinjal, Okra and Chilli. Also
acts as acaricide on these crops.
PYRIPROXYFEN is a juvenile hormone
analog and an insect growth regulator. It
prevents larvae from developing into
adulthood and thus rendering them
unable to reproduce.
FENPROPATHRIN is a synthetic
pyrethroid acaricide and insecticide

action. Fenpropathrin is used to control

PYRIPROXYFEN is a juvenile hormone
