Academically qualified vendor compliance and human resources management professional with over 07
years experience and knowledge in effectively handling all aspects of Corporate Responsibility functions
relating to ethical and trading compliance related matters of major clothing retailers of Europe and USA
such as, Nike, Marks & Spencer, Gap Inc, Next, H&M, etc;
As a compliance manager I was responsible for managing the Corporate Responsibility related activities to
ensure that suppliers and manufacturing units are in compliance with ethical and trading requirements,
social, health & safety, environment, workers’ rights and management attitude as per the standards and
requirements of major clothing retailers of Europe and USA.
Hands on experience and knowledge in handling all aspects of Human Resources Management both at

Coordinating with compliance officials of international clothing retailers and external auditors on
compliance related matters and audits.
Assessing adequacy of internal process, procedures, policies and controls to ensure that
manufacturing units are in compliance with customers’ requirements.

audits, progress of corrective action plans and submitting monthly audit and risk assessment
reports.
Conducting awareness programs to ensure that the business leaders across the organization are
aware of their compliance responsibilities and implementing robust controls to alleviate underlying
risks.
Preparation of training needs analysis, training plan and implementation of training programs to all
levels of employees on compliance related matters.
Preparation of pre-audit documentations and completing pre-audit questionnaires.
Submitting corrective action plans to external compliance officials and auditors based non
compliance issues at audit findings.

Preparing and implementing the agreed corrective actions plans and carrying out internal audits to

with UK based Fielding Group, owned by Monitaine Holdings.
Company mainly caters to internationally reputed retailers in Europe and USA including M&S, BHS,
Mothercare, Levi’s, Armani, George, Nike, Next and Tesco.
As the in charge of compliance requirements of the organization played the leading role in changing the
culture of the organization and formulating and implementing policies and procedures which enabled the
company to be successful in obtaining the vendor compliance approval of world renowned brands namely
Nike, H&M and Marks & Spencer which was a significant step forward in success of Hemas Garments Pte
ltd.

In addition to my duties as a customer advisor at RWE Npower Plc I have functioned as an accredited
Shop Floor Steward of the Unison Branch of RWE Npower and also served as an Equality Officer of the
Executive Committee of Unison Npower Branch.
As a Unison accredited Union Steward and Equality Officer of the Excutive Committee of Npower Unison
Branch I have represented members on grievance, capability and disciplinary hearings and offer
counselling to members in balancing the work and personal life.
As the Equlity Officer of the trade union I was fully committed in promoting equality and valuing diversity
and inclusion which I can extend to my work agenda as part of my responsibilities of the Compliance
Manager.
