2. Demographics
We chose the ages 16 to 19 years old because more younger people face
domestic violence and relationships dealing with abuse. In our survey majority
of our survey was 16 to 19 years of age.
We chose both genders because men can experience domestic violence as well
as women in society. In our survey we had a question that asked if men could
be a victim in domestic violence, 100% of people who answered said yes.
We chose students because many young people go through difficult
relationships including domestic violence and abuse. We also want to spread
awareness to the public that domestic violence in young peoples lives are
increasing.
We were open to any race being included in our domestic campaign as anyone
can be a victim.
Our campaign is in the UK, We will make awareness around all areas in the UK.
3. Psychographics
The interests of our target audience should be communication on social
media, reading news or magazines to actually reach out to the audience to
make sure they take information about campaign,
The beliefs of our target audience should be believing in domestic violence
or abuse and think that is not fine to be in abuse relationship. The other
belief of our audience is people who don’t know anything about domestic
violence and our campaign is going to inform them that is not alright.
The values of our target audience should be respect, friendship and
kindness.
4. Purpose of audience profiling
The purpose of our audience profiling is to structure our ideas and to
make our domestic violence campaign meaningful towards the target
audience. Also the audience profiling is going to help us with our
audiences’ needs such as people going through domestic violence and
abusive relationships. It will also help us communicate with different
people which have different beliefs, interests and values. We will make sure
our campaign is effected and will have meaning for different people in
different situations.
