2. Teaser Trailer #1- Published on October 22nd, 2014 but the actual movie was not released until 23rd April
in the U.K. This teaser trailer currently has around 80 million views which shows that a lot of people were
aware of it so the teaser was successful in its purpose.
3. Pre-Production Information
In June 2014 the IMAX announce that the film would also be released at IMAX 3D. Actors such as Tom
Hiddleston and Idris Elba were added to the cast following the principle of photography. However
Hiddleston's scenes did not make the final film as the director didn't want the film to be ‘overstuffed’.
Whedon the director of the film explained that Elba and other actors made the theatrical cut as they were
exploring the psyches of the Avengers from Scarlet Witch’s power.
In early April 2015 Wheldon announced that the film would not have post scene credits in the film.

According to ComicBookMovie, Warners Bros Russia announced that the first trailer for Avengers 2 will
be attached to Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, which will hit theaters on 7 November 2014. Although it
was eventually released earlier. In October 2011 Kevin Feige (President of Marvel Studios) announced
that they were starting to think about a second Avengers film. The first thing to come out was the teaser

Marvel studios announced that they will be filming the key elements of their movie in Seoul, the
capital of South Korea. Bringing production of this significant motion picture to Korea will create
jobs for local extras, crews and vendors which will benefit the local film industry in South Korea.
"South Korea is the perfect location for a movie of this magnitude because it features cutting-edge
technology, beautiful landscapes and spectacular architecture," said Kevin Feige, President of
Marvel Studios and producer of Marvel's "Avengers: Age of Ultron." In addition to South Korea,
Avengers: Age of Ultron includes locations in London, United Kingdom, where the production will
be based, as well as Johannesburg, South Africa; and Aosta Valley, Italy

Avengers Age of Ultron appeals to a vast majority of
these fans as it has a lot of the fan favourite super
heroes such as Captain America and Iron Man. The
posters and trailers show that the film is aimed for
teenagers and above in particular males because it
shows a lot of violence and boys are more typically
into superheroes. In every trailer it seems as though it
is filled with fighting and explosions. They are trying to
make the film seem as exciting as possible to attract in
particular their target audience.

Upon research, we have found a lot of different facebook pages and fan websites
devoted to this film. One of the pages made by a fan on Facebook actually has
nearly 4000 likes. A website dedicated to the movie is also quite popular and has
a lot of information on it http://www.avengersultron.com/. There is also a load of
websites filled with loads of different games to do with the Avengers. All of these
different website show that the movie definitely had a big online presence which
would increase the amount of people that know about the film.
15. Cross Promotion and Golden Trailer Awards?
Although it did not win any Golden Trailer Awards, the movie was nominated for ‘Best Motion/ Title
Graphics’ for the announcement trailer ‘Reveal’.
In January 2015, a featurette focusing on Ultron was shown at Samsung's "Night With Marvel" event at the
2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Also at CES, Samsung revealed a selection of hardware
inspired by the Avengers films, as well as a simulation of Avengers Tower via its Gear VR virtual reality
device.A second trailer premiered on ESPN on January 12, 2015 during the broadcast of the 2015 College
Football Playoff National Championship.Mendelson enjoyed the trailer, but wished it did not reveal as
many story elements as it did. However, he added, "the marketing thus far [for the film] has been far
superior to much of what sold The Avengers three years ago, both in terms of the specific footage and the
artistic choices being made... I'm sold, and I imagine most of the general moviegoers are already onboard
too."

Avengers Age of Ultron came out in cinema first in America on 1st May and then on 23rd April 2015 in the
U.K. Avengers Age of Ultron scored the second-biggest domestic opening in history on its first weekend,

different film, its main competition was Fast and Furious 7 which came out in cinemas around the same
