2. Mind Map
Fashion
magazine
A magazine
of outfit
ideas.
Where to go shopping if
You’re on a budget.
Such as Primark, Matalan
Etc.
Outfits for different
styles such as girly,
tomboy, goth, emo etc.
And also how to style dresses,
Jeans, T-shirts, skirts, flares.
A celebrity styling page
where you pick out an
outfit that a celerity is
wearing and try and
recreate that outfit on
a budget.
Charity shops are a great way to
create outfits, because it’s cheap
and you’re giving to charity while
you’re doing it.
This magazine is for 14 – 18
year olds because at that
age they’re exploring their
styles. My primary target is
females because they’re
most likely to be more into
their fashion
3. Mind Map
Childcare
magazine
It’s going to have bright
colours, pictures,
cartoons, bold writing.
My magazine will also be a way for adults
that Have children in their life find activities
to do with their child/children. And also activities
That involve sensory books.
This magazine is
targeted for people
studying childcare and
parents. And it's for
16+. And for all
genders, because most
genders have children
in their life or want to
study
childcare.
This magazine is also going
to have a page of great
ideas people came up
with that entertained them
while lockdown was going
on.
This magazine will attract
achievers because it
motivates the childcare
students and parents to
play with their child.
4. Sensory book
Age 6 months – 3 years
This is for achievers
because these babies are
learning and want to
achieve to learn different
textures.
Its going to be a book for
Babies and toddlers so they can experiment
With textures on their hands.
It’s going to have fury
Rough, soft textures and
also rice in a bag so they
Can feel it and rattle it as
Well.
Its going to have bright
colours as well so
they’re using their eyes
Its for both genders
because all genders
use their sensors.
Its going to have
the alphabet as
well e.g. Rice
begins with the
letter R.
Final idea
6. Mood Board Analysis
Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated
colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
my mood board is colourful because I want my product to catch a
child’s eye and I want them to be attracted to the colours of the book
and the colours of the pages as well. There’s also going to be bold
writing so when the child is old enough to read then they can read it to
their dolls or younger family members.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
Because my book is going to be colourful and fun, my book is also
going to be a sensory book and it’s going to have cartoon characters in
it as well so it’s more child friendly.
