(1) Petrotrin (Offshore): responsibilities there included construction supervision: Installation of new
36”Dia sleeves on platform legs, New tie-beams and knee braces onto conductors , Installation of new
platform top deck crane lifted over well heads, Installation of new deck extension (Pre-Fab),
Installation of new launch landing, Installation of 4” 6” 8” & 10” subsea lines, Installation of multiple
risers, Offshore piling of 36” heavy wall steel piles, Installation of prefabricated platform jacket,
Material management & logistics, , Hydro testing, Weekly Planning & projection.
(2) ABB Lumas Techint Acid/Alky Plant: Responsibilities there included (But not limited to)
Planning , Supervision of contractor construction and piping works, quantity surveying &
contractor invoice verification, co-ordination between civil and piping works, material
management & logistics, Field Designs of new pipe runs, Mechanical completion & Pre-
comissioning.
(3) Repsol Trinidad Limited (Integrity And Construction): I worked for three years in an offshore
environment where I visited several platforms and supervised many construction works, such as change out
of helideck skirting, new skid-beams, new 12” riser pipe, new grating and hand-rail at the spider-deck (15’-
0” level), and the design of new piping which included (A) assessment of possible pipe route, (B) Design of
appropriate pipe support and recommended spacing (C) Accurate field sketches showing all field welds and
B.O.M. (D) Tie-In procedures (E) Planning (F) All As-Built isometrics (G) P&ID Revisions (H)
Supervision of fabricated piping spools at contractor’s fab-shop (I) supervision of contractor off shore
installation works (J) Mechanical completion, Hydro testing and Pre-Commissioning.
