Accomplishments
Olympics 2012 logistics team management and support for Greenwich Park
The 2012 Olympics is one of the biggest events England has ever hosted, my role was based at
Greenwich park and was to work closely with the logistics manager to ensure smooth running of
the logistics department. This included strategic planning of deliveries and stock rotation, boosting
team morale due to long hard shift work and working very efficiently. My role comprised of
ensuring all deliveries were accepted and chilled to the correct temperature within the time limit
specified, ensuring that all team members complied with all PPE (personal protective equipment)
legislation and checking that each retail area stock level was correct and ready for service. By
taking part in this event I proved my time management skills, team management skills and
motivational skills.
