SAFETY DEFINITION
 A conditions protected or avoid from dangers
that could cause an accident.

Qualification to sit for a building.
 The law provides that any person wishing to
occupied buildings must obtain a certificate
of qualification to sit for the local authorities.
The purpose of issuance of the Certificate
Occupation qualifications:
 Ensure that the building has been built fulfill
safety features and facilities required.
What certificate of qualification to sit?
 A certificate issued by the local authority
confirming that a building constructed according
to the approved plans, to comply with the
provisions of law and obtain certificates from
other agencies.
Who is responsible to apply for a certificate of
qualification to sit?
 People that qualified
HOW MANY TYPE OF CERTIFICATE OF
QUALIFICATION TO SIT?
1) A certificate of qualification to sit (CF)
2) A certificate of qualification to sit while
(TCF)
3) c) A certificate of qualification to sit for a
partial (partial CF)
THE MAIN PROBLEM
• There is only one main
entrance is open.
• Just in case
something
happen, people will
have getting trouble out
because the other door
in the building was
closed and lock.
• People will rush out
an emergency such as
fire.

HOW TO SOLVE PROBLEM
The short-term solution
 Open the other entrance to this building, so that if something happen
such as fire, people can choose another door to go out from this
building.
• Emergency exit blocked by
wasted tools and objects.
• Give trouble to students in case
emergency.

The short-term solution
 Remove all the wasted tools that block the emergency exit
 Make sure that there are nothing object block this exit and the door must
can open easily.
 Don’t lock the door
The long-term solution
 The management can monitoring and inspecting the emergency lane, so
that there is no object and equipment that may prevent the student or
users to go out if an emergency happen.
•Kayak do not have set in a proper place.
•Prevent the students to get out of the
emergency door if something happen.
•May cause accidents.

HOW TO SOLVE PROBLEM
The short-term solution
 Move the kayak immediately to the some place like store.
 We can placed it to the placed that cannot disturb the user.
 We also can repair or changed the material that used to placed the
kayak with more secure such as concrete.
The long-term solution
 The management should provide storage item, so that this kayak can be
placed at there.

 We can open the dinghy and placed it into the bag
 Throw away all the unused tools and arrange the tools that can be used.

placed at there.

 Building should be closed to prevent accident during renovation.
 The contractor or the worker should organized the equipment that they
used properly after doing their work.
The long-term solution
 After this, every renovation to this laboratory should be done during
semester breaks.

be at the suitable placed
to be taken in case of
fire.

 Place this fire extinguisher in the proper placed and easy to user to used
if something happen
The long-term solution
 Make sure every fire extinguisher is placed correctly
WHEN FACING A FIRE EMERGENCY
 Do not use lift: Leave the premises by nearest available
exit and close all doors and windows behind you. Never
use lift for leaving the premises or apartment.
 If trapped in your room or building: Use
towels, blankets or spare cloths to block the gaps in the
door to stop smoke. Go to window, shout for help and
once you heard by fire service and help is on the
way, stay near to the floor by the window.
 If fire on your clothes: Stop, drop and roll if your cloth
catches fire. Do not get panic or run, it will make fire burn
faster and leads to more injuries or burn.

 The conclusion is safety must come first to
avoid in case of any undesirable accident.

  • 25. WHEN FACING A FIRE EMERGENCY  Do not use lift: Leave the premises by nearest available exit and close all doors and windows behind you. Never use lift for leaving the premises or apartment.  If trapped in your room or building: Use towels, blankets or spare cloths to block the gaps in the door to stop smoke. Go to window, shout for help and once you heard by fire service and help is on the way, stay near to the floor by the window.  If fire on your clothes: Stop, drop and roll if your cloth catches fire. Do not get panic or run, it will make fire burn faster and leads to more injuries or burn.
