 Teaching for long time is possible

Instructional objectives
Entry behaviour
Instructional procedures
Performance assessment

5. INSTRUCTIONAL OBJECTIVES
 The student should attain upon completion of a unit
of instruction
 Specific, general or in behavioural term
 Instruction should be effective and systematic

6. ENTRY BEHAVIOUR
 Initial behaviour of a learner
 It is essential to detect the entering behaviour
of the learner before giving instructions
 It is just like previous knowledge of a subject or
the performance of the learner in terms of
educational abilities

7.  Transformation of student from entry
behaviour to terminal behaviour

8. INSTRUCTIONAL PROCEDURE
 It is the active part of the learner
 Indicates the method, procedure and
strategies of teaching
 Depends on two previous components

9. PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENTS
 If the need arises objectives may be modified
the instructional procedure may be improved
and assessment of performance is made
again.
 Observation ,interview, rating scale
 All components are interrelated

10. Assumptions of basic teaching
model
 It is developed on the assumption that
“every lesson assumes some knowledge on
the part of the learner”.
 Through instructional procedure , the
teacher guides the learner from entry
behaviour to terminal behaviour.
