INTRODUCTION
A lesson plan is a Teacher’s detailed
description of the course content of
instruction or Learning trajectory for a
lesson.
Daily lesson plan is developed by a teacher
to grade class learning.
Details will vary depending on the
preference of the teacher, Subject being
covered and the needs of the students.

6. Preparation
Preparation is the key
The teacher must Prepare the minds
of students to receive new
Knowledge. This Knowledge is to be
liked with the previous knowledge of
the students.
7. How to Introduce a new topic
This can be done
By testing the previous Knowledge
of Pupils. The teacher introduce the
lesson with an explanation.
KNOWLEDGE
Both the teacher and the pupil should
be the active participants in the
teaching –learning process.
8. Presentation
Presenting Your Presentation
The objectives of the lesson should
be clearly stated.
In the Presentation step, the pupils
must get some new ideas and
knowledge.
Both the teacher and the pupil should

9. Comparison and Association
Some examples are given to the
students and they are asked to
observe carefully and compare them
with other set of examples and facts.
Sometimes the facts learned in the
present lesson may be associated
with facts learned in previous classes.
Comparison helps the pupil to fix the
new facts an mind.
10. GENERALIZATION
This step involves reflective thinking
because the whole knowledge learnt in
presentation is to be systematized
which leads to generalization.
APPLICATION
At this stage the students make use the
required knowledge in familiar and
unfamiliar situations
The new knowledge gained by pupil will
become permanent in the minds of the
students.
11. Review /Recapitulation
Last step of the lesson plan ,the teacher
tries to ascertain whether the students
have understood or grasped the subject
matter or not.
This is used for assessing / evaluating
the effectiveness of the lesson by
asking students questions on the
contents of the lesson or by giving short
objectives to test the students level of
understanding.
Example: Label different parts on the
diagram.
12. STRUCTURE OF A FOUR FOLD
LESSON PLAN
Content
The teacher elicit the content to be
taught to the students in the
classroom.
The students develop skills in terms
of Cognitive, Affective and
Psychomotor domain after attending
the teaching lesson of this content.
13. Specification of Behavioural
outcomes
Specification of behavioural outcomes
helps us to state the instructional
objectives of various school subject.
They should be specific and must be
expressed in behavioural terms.
The Statement of a specification
contains an action verb.
The statement of specification should be
in the form achievement and not in the
form of the teachers intentions.
15. Evaluation
The Teacher can adopt internal
and external methods of
evaluation whether their
instructions is project according
to the pedagogy of teaching .
