- The Slide should not be overdone. You only use it for a small portion of the presentation if you think about it. Keep it simple.
- You don’t need a lot of text or points on your slide. Try to pick a few summary words then explain the rest of it yourself to the people who are there to see the presentation.
- The images should be clear, understandable and overall professional looking whenever possible.
- A theme and Visuals while at times corny, can help the presenter and his colleagues viewing the presentation follow the flow so to speak.
- Using to many animations takes away from what your talking about. While they are cool most times they just dampen the effectivness of the presentation.
- Stats and other charts add credibility, its just that simple.
- Different colors can help portray different things as well as make certain slides or components stand out.
- The Font should look professional, Large, and in some ways it needs to fit the theme of the presentation overall.
- These are good because they do the talking and explaining for you, but overuse makes them less and less memorable and useful.
- The presentation needs to have a clear flow of organization from slide to slide. Without this it would be hard to present and hard to follow.
