Use the Agile Testing Quadrants as your map of the testing landscape. Use the Test Automation Pyramid as a compass to guide you in your test automation efforts.
If you are working with legacy code that has no tests, use automation through the UI to create a software vise so that you can safely restructure your code to create oases of code covered by automated unit tests.

Book Formatting: Quality Control Checks for DesignersConfidence Ago
This presentation was made to help designers who work in publishing houses or format books for printing ensure quality.
Quality control is vital to every industry. This is why every department in a company need create a method they use in ensuring quality. This, perhaps, will not only improve the quality of products and bring errors to the barest minimum, but take it to a near perfect finish.
It is beyond a moot point that a good book will somewhat be judged by its cover, but the content of the book remains king. No matter how beautiful the cover, if the quality of writing or presentation is off, that will be a reason for readers not to come back to the book or recommend it.
So, this presentation points designers to some important things that may be missed by an editor that they could eventually discover and call the attention of the editor.

Editor's Notes
Ever since I was about 3 years old I have always been fascinated by video games and how they work. I remember when I was about 4 or 5 years old I got my first game system which was the Nintendo 64. I got Pokémon Stadium, Mario Kart, and Super Mario 64 with it. I loved those games; they were my favorite games to play.
Like all kids, I imagined being many things when I got older. Like an astronaut, firefighter, etc; and like all kids those ideas changed but there was one that never did change and that was to be able to make my own video games.

What drives me to be a game developer is just my love for games and the worlds you can create when making games.I have always dreamed of making my own games for people to enjoy.
Skill Set:Coding: C, C++, C#, Assembly, Python
I have some experience in modeling 3-D objects. I can model inanimate objects like lamps, vases, video game systems, etc.
I have worked on a group project making a game called Dark Crusade and I mainly worked on getting the menus and the game state changes. I structured how the menus looked and how to move between them.
My ideal work environment is in a room with my co-workers so that way we can help each other out if we get stuck on something. The type of co-workers I would like to work with are people that would help out if asked and people that fun to be around because they will help lighten the mood if things get a little aggressive due to frustration.

The job I would like to have is to either work at 343 Industries or be independent and make my own games. I would like work at 343 Industries because they make my favorite game of all time, Halo. Other than that I would like to be independent because I would like to have complete freedom of how the game is going to turn out and have the satisfaction of making a game and having people playing something I made.

Here’s one of the menus I worked on that I am proud of because of the how it looks and works.
I worked on the pause menu for the game and all functionality for the pause menus. I also worked on changing the volumes and making sure it is displayed accordingly.
I also worked on the unit selection screen. I set up how the unit selection screen was set up and most of the functionality.
One of the 3-D models I made was of a Nintendo DS. This is one of my favorite models I have made and looks the nicest of the models. I am very proud of this model I have created.
Another one of my models that I am fairly proud of is my model of a couch.
I made a simple bubble popping game in one of my classes. Its nothing short of simple but it is still fairly fun.
