Responsibilities
1. Review all bid documentation and the bid estimate.
2. Review and become familiar with the Contract and all procedures required under the Contract.
3. Develop an organization chart
4. Initiate the project by conducting a kick-off meeting with the Project Team and assign duties and
responsibilities as detailed in the organization chart.
5. Develop a project strategy
6. Ensure that all members of the Project document distribution system.
7. Arrange all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the work.
8. Develop a project schedule that coordinates all activities and resources required to complete the
contract.
9. Ensure that appropriate funds and banking facilities are in place.
10. Prepare a project budget on the basis of the project estimate and institute a cost control system.
11. Monitor the progress and performance of all functions areas of the Project Team.

12. Prepare regular and timely reports on project progress as required by the Client
13. Monitor all changes to the Contract scope of work.
14. Undertake job site visits if not based at site.
15. Organize and chair Project Team meetings as appropriate
16. Arrange for all progress claims and documentation required under the Contract to be prepared in a
timely manner.
17. Take particular responsibility for safety, industrial relations and staff welfare in all aspects of the
