Benefits Manager
Managed all aspects of the benefits department for a 1,400 employee property management company.
Responsible for oversight of the following programs - benefits, 401(k), wellness, leave of absences and
workers’ compensation and ACA.
Benefits
 Served as primary contact for all benefit related questions and issues.
 Succeeded in providing a high level of customer service to a diverse employee population.
 Collaborated with insurance broker, senior management and vendors to ensure that the company
benefit program remained cost effective and competitive.

401(K)

with 500 participants and over $20million in assets.
 Scheduled and led 401(k) committee meetings.
 Developed auditing process which decreased the number of 401(k) contribution discrepancies.
 Implemented a 401(k) automatic enrollment provision.
 Collaborated with 401(k) plan provider in order to develop new simplified processes for employees to
enroll and make changes to their 401(k) accounts.
Workers Compensation
 Directly responsible for the day to day operations of workers’ compensation program.
 Collaborated with senior management in developing a return to work program which had a direct
impact on reducing claim costs.
 Coached managers on effective ways to handle complex workers’ compensation claims.
