DAWCOM, LLC is a small, highly technical, telecommunications engineering & installation firm. Specializing in MW systems, this firm
has a proven, international track record of successfully meeting system requirements and customer expectations across very diverse
communications technologies.
Deployment Project Manager
Direct responsibility for various microwave backhaul projects & clients. Provided direct supervision to various size
teams. Provided oversight to all contractors associated with the various site acquisition and microwave
construction projects. Project size and scope varied between single hops, to several hundred hops across the
western United States. Worked with engineering to develop and validate Scope of Work documents to meet
customer needs & provide detailed RFQs to vendors. Verified vendor submitted documentation as first line QA /
QC. Submitted project close-out documentation to end-customer for acceptance. This work included the entire re-
build for the City of Dallas, Tx’s microwave network, and various project for Xcel Energy in west Texas, and New
Mexico. In addition, I personally managed all project change orders between DAWCOM, and our customer(s).
Field Supervisor/PM
Performed and submitted professional Site Surveys. Worked directly with installation teams to validate quality and
document completed systems to the end customer.

After 9/11/2001, I accepted various contract positions within the telecommunications industry to include:
Microwave & Telecommunications Support – Iraq 3+ Years
Direct support of microwave and various other telecommunications infrastructure in a very challenging
environment. Supervision of field techs as required. Personally responsible for troubleshooting, correcting fiber
issues, and documenting entire Fiber LAN network for new Victory Base fiber network.
Fiber Optic Certification Instructor
Provided Fiber Optic Certification training to various organizations across the United States. Training included all
aspects of fiber optics to include:
Single and Multi-mode fiber
Splicing / Testing / Troubleshooting

OSP Field Engineer
Responsible for gathering & documenting information required to engineer, permit & construct long-haul, local,
and last-mile fiber optic networks. Worked with in-house departments to provide complete engineering packages.
Alcatel-Lucent (Contracted to) 1998 to 1999
ALU project with the Taiwan military to install a hybrid microwave & fiber optic network around the Taiwan island.
OSP/Fiber Optic Field Engineer
Trained local contractors in all aspects of fiber optic cable handling, installation, splicing, testing, troubleshooting,
and network documentation. Personally managed all fiber related materials, schedules, and system documentation.
All work completed on-time and accepted by customer upon submission.
MCI Network Management Center
Floor Manager
Provided oversight to various network monitor teams, and distributed (flashed) notifications system wide
regarding known network issues. Monitored national & international broadcasts for information which could
impact the network. Personally notified Switch management team when news of Oklahoma City bombing occurred.
As a result of the timely notification, and blocks implemented on the MCI switch, this switch was the ONLY unit
providing service to the OKC area which did not fail due to capacity overload.
