2. JOB & RESPONSIBILITIES CW OSP PROJECT:-
 Survey the Network, Reading the Design Drawings.
 Managing the Civil Work which includes the following.
 Managing the Trenching & Cleaning the Trench.
 Laying the Ducts & Sub Ducts, Backfilling the Trench with concrete.
 Installation of Hand Holes & Manholes, Pulling the Fiber Optic Cable.
 Survey and identify the OSP routes and its potential customer connectivity.
 Supervise OSP construction activities as per construction drawings.
Project implementation as per construction standards.
 Prepare site diary as per project implementation quantity.
 Issue site instructions to subcontractor.
 Issue Site discrepancies if the contractor implement project in sub-standard manner.
 Issue and keep track of OSP materials quality on the site.
 Conduct PAT/FAT for the implemented project.
 Identify the GPS coordinates for the routes , manholes and customer location.

JOB & RESPONSIBILITIES Fiber Optic / Telecom :-
 Fabricates, test, troubleshoot and repair fiber optic modules in a prototype environment
 Extensive experience in fiber optic cleaving, splicing, and module assembly.
 Ability to follow detailed work instructions and learn the use of new test equipment.
 Ability to support documentation development for process transition from prototype
development to manufacturing.
 Perform incoming inspection on components and system level tests on assemblies
 Perform routine maintenance of the test equipment and calibration.
 Motivated, detail-oriented, organized, quick-learning individual skills.
 Ability to support electronic technician activities such as soldering and cable making
 Jointing of Fiber Optic Cable, Machines Installation of LIV and LGK frame to MDF,
OTDR testing
 Works on jointing for aerial, secondary buried and primary cable of various types using
Different kinds of connectors such as 3M modular, Picabond and UY connector.
 Perform Installation/Termination on manholes, cables vaults, main distribution frame
and cross connect cabinets.
 Able to do different closing methods like UC/UCN and Raychem Closures.
 Perform Flush test after closing.
 Testing the cable integrity and insulation and executing repairs.
 Perform cut-over on both primary and secondary network and see to it that working
pairs are jointed,According to CLT and Cut-sheet assignment, Can read and Interpret
cable plans.
 Installation of assorted types of telecom peripherals like Pole Dp, Indoor Dp, Wall Dp
& Stb According to construction standards and specifications.

 Fabricates and install krone block for DP and Cabinet.

3.  Installation of multigrain Wireless Local Loop Radio Including laying of multiple cable
pairs, termination and commissioning.
 Installation of wireless Local Loop Sector zed antenna at the communication tower
including cabling, termination and orientation.
 Installation and commissioning of wireless local loop telephone subscriber.
 Splicing of fiber optic cable and testing.
 Splicing and termination of metallic cables primary and secondary.
 Responsible for Installation of Central Transfer Unit (CTRU).
 Responsible for Installation of Inverter (5KV A-10KVA).
 Responsible for installation of Battery (300 AMPS-600 AMPS).
 Responsible for installation of Subscriber Transfer Unit (STRU) and intelligent
Telephone Sockets (ITS).
 Responsible for PRE-PAT Acceptance test (PAT).
 Preparation and splicing of fiber optic cable.
 Conduct pre-installation test of fiber optic cable end to end i.e. 1310 nm and 1550 using
by optical time domain reflect meter and power meter tester.
 Supervising metallic cable installation, splicing, testing and commissioning.
 Troubleshooting and repair of crash phone emergency telephones including clearing of
line fault and restoration of faulty lines.
 Co-ordination to weekly meeting with Site Engineers & Project Manager.
 Tracking site installation progress and other availability.
 Issuing weekly reports update report, Attending internal & external project meeting.
 Able to work with basic PC applications and e-mail, General office work.

 Provides lead supervision to technicians specializing in telecommunications equipment
such as PBX equipment, voice mail systems, uninterrupted power supplies, telephone
handsets, network cabling, public address, intercom, T1 circuits, optical fiber and other
related equipment and services;

 Makes service arrangements with user agency;
 Establishes priorities, work schedules and assigns technician(s);
 Provides instructions and guidance on anticipated problems and expected results;
