An example of how 'Big Reveal' can be used in the classroom - by Susan Burnham.

1. The Big Reveal- Teacher’s Notes
• Print out the sheets (big reveal) and sit or stand where all students can see
you. Hold the information cards in your hands in order. Just like in the clip
below from Love Actually. If you show the students the clip they will
understand how you are giving them the information.

• Go through the cards once with the next slide on the board, then go
through the slides again with the next slides, one for each card, on the
board. The second slides contain images of the different stages of genetic
engineering. Ask students not to take notes but to focus on listening
carefully.
