Installation Deployment Officer Tampa, FL Jul 2008 – Oct 2011 Responsible for the development of the Wing Installation Deployment Plan that provides guidance and procedures for the deployment of over 2,000 personnel and almost 3,000 cargo tons from MacDill Air Force Base. • Ranked by supervisor as #1/4 squadron 2nd Lieutenants; #3/25 group Lieutenants • Described by supervisor on my performance report as “future of logistics community” – displayed expert logistic leadership during the movement of 211 passengers and 1,000 cargo tons in support of relief efforts in Haiti. • Maintained more than $37 million worth of War Reserve Materiel (WRM). • Scheduled/managed the Deployment Schedule of Events which includes the flight schedule and loading of cargo and personnel. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: • Joint Humanitarian Operations Course (JHOC); aimed at delineating civilian agency and military roles in international disaster response missions so that the agencies can work together in the most optimum, efficient and effective manner. • Squadron Officer School; an eight-week graduate-level executive leadership seminar that helps junior officers to identify their leadership strengths and weaknesses, provides them tools for improvement, and empowers them with opportunities to apply what they have learned. • Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments (DCAPES); a five day course focusing on utilizing DCAPES to deploy personnel for installation contingency and exercise requirements. • Installation Deployment Officer (IDO) Course; a week course designed to develop IDO critical thinking skills in roles and responsibilities, pre-deployment, execution, reception, and redeployment processes. • WRM Course; a week course focusing on the basic policies and responsibilities for management of equipment and supplies in the WRM program. • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software to include: Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint.
